Here's the challenge:Can you name ONE GH character not connected to the mob by 6 degrees of separation??
Alive or dead?(I'm thinking 'splain it to me if you want dead or alive)
I am thinking alive...because that would be the challenge, I think. If they are alive and not connected to the mob somehow, and Guza realizes it, they won't be alive for long!!
I really don't think there's anyone!!
I can't think of any!! I have another game though. The "drinking game." Everytime Jason, Sonny, any Z (with the exception of Johnny), Russian are on....take a hit the hot cocoa. (Bwhahahhahahha! You thought I was going to say something bad. ~Snort~)
It would have to be hot cocoa. Anything stronger and we'd all end up dead drunk.
Ya, by the end of the show...each and every day! LOL
ROFL! No doubt! I thought of saying we could all eat a slice of pumpkin pie, but man my hips don't need that. LOL!
I'll do ya one better and name two: Ethan and Rebecca. And it's only because we don't really know who they are. P.S. Is this really a fair question though? It's a soap opera. By definition, aren't these people supposed to be interconnected and inbred. I think it's Rule #6 in the Rules of Soap Opera Land.** **Disclaimer: I could be wrong on the Soap Opera Land Rule Number. I don't have the rules in front of me right now.
So far, Matt's not connected to the mob. But his past, other than Noah, is still a mystery. We never did figure out who he was always on the phone with when he was investigating the fake drugs.
OMG! I totally forgot about those phone calls Matt was making. I wonder if that's just another one of those plots that was dropped.
Probably. But it would be great if the writers went into his past & there was something to those phone calls. As it is, he gets nothing to do. I'm afraid he's the next to go the way of Nadine. Just fade into the background & that would be a waste of his talent. Another one who was brought on because of his history with an actress & then never has any scenes with her or when he does, they are a pathetic waste of air time.
I loved Belle and Shawn on Days. They were young, cute and just oozed chemistry. I hate hate hate the whole idea of Maxie and Matt. Now what was really cute was Matt and Nadine yesterday when she was crying. TPTB have done this before with Patch and Kayla. Oops...I mean Mary Beth Evans and Stephen Nicholas and it didn't work. Stefan and Katherine just didn't click either.
Neither did Alexis & Cameron. Matt & Maxie would probably work at another time in Maxie's life & if she'd been exposed to this side of him first. When he first came on, he was such a jerk. It might've worked if Spinelli wasn't already on. Maybe those sweet scenes with Nadine were the beginning of his fade out. The 2 of them fall in love off camera & in a couple of months, Patrick mentions they eloped & are living out in Seattle or someplace a thousand miles from Port Charles.
It would be a shame if he faded from the canvas. The show really needs an actor his age who isnt completely immersed in the MOB!! And has an actual job. How about Matt with Elizabeth? He has shown a lot of concern while she has been healing and she needs someone new. I dont want to see Lucky and Elizabeth part 1001. I like that they are close friends now.
Matt was a jerk. You're right. There probably would have worked another time, but not now. Not with Maxie denying how much she not only cares about Spinelli, but loves him. There's so much for Matt and it likes they can't figure out what to do with him. I miss bumbling Nadine already.
Me too. She was cute & dippy & imperfect like Spinelli. That is one thing that was great about this show. They took a chance & put 2 people on there who weren't smooth, doing & saying the right thing all the time. She was relatable. The show still has a ways to go in terms of portraying the true variety of personality types that are out there, but this was a step in the right direction. Too bad they let her go.
I like the strange "imperfect" personalites myself. It's probably why I loved Nadine, Spinelli and Epiphany so much. They aren't your "typical" people. Maybe that's why I root for Carly so much too.
They're more relatable. You know someone like them, either in your family, your neighborhood or at work. With Carly, she's kind of a work in progress, which I like. She's really trying to be a better person. I always thought if she could find a patient enough man, she would calm down & grow up. When she was younger, I thought Jason was making progress with her until the writers blew that apart by sticking her with Sonny. That relationship was & is bad for her. It's probably going to be a struggle for her until the day he dies. Then, it'll probably be like a great big weight is off her shoulders.
