Legendary Soap Scribe Claire Labine Passes Away

Claire Labine, nine-time Daytime Emmy-winning creator/head writer of RYAN’S HOPE and former head writer of GENERAL HOSPITAL, ONE LIFE TO LIVE and GUIDING LIGHT, has passed away at the age of 82, her former colleague are reporting on Twitter. B&B writer Michele Val Jean tweeted, “I’m heartbroken. Rest in power, Claire Labine. I’ll always carry what you gave me with gratitude.” Kassie DePaiva (ex-Blair, OLTL) wrote, “ClaireLabine was one of the best! Rest In Peace dear gifted lady.”
