This is the last week of GL ever. How surreal is this? I grew up on GL. When I would come home from school, my Mom would be glued to the set watching GL and in those days, GL came on right before the 4pm cartoons. I originally got hooked in the mid-80's in the heart of the Barbados story. To this day, I still talk on the phone long distance with my Mom and we talk about Guiding Light. I will miss watching this show and the quality of this show in the last year only makes me miss it even more. Below I will disclose my Top 5 GL moments in no particular moment. What are yours?

Top 5 moments (In no particular order)

* Bert gives Josh words of encouragement when both of them are wheelchair bound.
* Holly's blood-curdling scream at Phillip and Blake's wedding when Roger is revealed. (Really, any scene with Roger and Holly)
* Alexandra dressed down Roger on July 4th at the Country Club
* Maureen confronts Lillian after her affair with Ed.
* Annie Dutton collapses in court after Reva's trial

Gosh, you have really hit on some good ones! Here are some others:- the Sonny/Solita breakdown on the stand at Will's trial- Roger's marital rape of Holly - he may have been bad before, but this sealed his fate as a terminally flawed character - this is sad, and old school, but Papa Bauer's funeral - the Bauers were so close-knit, and centrral to the story, then- Reva completing the Lewis trifecta by marrying HB - has anyone on any show matched that (I take that back, because Harley hit the Spaulding son trifecta - Phillip, A-M and Gus) But at the time, it was pretty outrageous, which leads me to...- Reva's "[censored] of Springfield" fountain tirade

These scenes sprang to mind the second I read the first post.1. Nola and Vanessa fighting over who would be "Scarlett Ohara" at the costume ball, and the subsequent GWTW scene when Vanessa tossed the vase and Billy sprang up from the couch. (I can still see that as if it was on today. LOL)2. Any of Nola's "fantasys" especially the Wizard of Oz one.3. Mindy's 80's over-the-top, big hair, big dress, spare no expensive trimmings fairy tale wedding to Kurt - complete with him riding in on a white horse.4. Reva's "Slvt of Springfield" scene in a red dress that just screamed - "You want to call me that, well HERE SHE IS.5. Anything with Roger and Holly. When they were on, you were glued to the screen.
