The writing had been deteriorating lately especially under B & E, but Pratt came in and took it to a level I could never have dreamed of. Most women portrayed as stupid weaklings, unable to run a business or a computer, solving every problem with sex, too dumb to realize they are being manipulated by a man even when the man pretty much comes right out and tells them what they're doing. The only women who are halfway rational are Angie and Taylor but they are hardly ever on.The stories make no sense as characters contradict themselves not only from day to day but minute to minute.Pratt revisits all the worst ideas that no one ever wanted to revisit--Rendall, grief sex, who's the daddy, sperm stories, violence, death. Meanwhile there is no romance, no love, no family, no holidays, no tradition, no respect for history. Nothing that soap fans value and that we have always gone to our soaps for. What is happening to AMC is an abomination. Sexist, violent, depressing, cartoonish (see David or Greenlee driving off a cliff in her wedding veil). Our soap, once a place to escape to for an hour a day for romance, beauty, adventure--yes some angst too but not constantly--has become a torturous place to be. Many of us have tuned out. We can't stand to be there anymore. Thanks a lot, Pratt and Frons, for destroying something that actually meant something to many of us.

Sharon, AMC is a horrific mess....and that is all thanks to Brian Frons and Charles Pratt..For a while, I noticed people referring to what Pratt was doing to AMC in March, as March Maddness, but that has changed...Now, AMC in March is being called:::: "Misogynistic March." That describes AMC to a tee.....and it's only going to get worse...

AMC is not what it used to be. Thanks to a series of writers, the current one just tanking the show even more and producers who approve this drivel. You may want to turn the dial until maybe one day, the real AMC will appear.The females of the show will be strong and determined, the stories are character and not plot driven, romance, friendships, family all return.As far as everyone losing their money...it is AMC's attempt at writing a social story on the economy. The problem is, the characters losing money, never seem to go to work. It is all throw away lines to say yep, we're addressing it.
