I agree with you. Bring back the old John, he and Marlenaare so much in love and have such a history so it makes youfeel good to see them together. They deserve to be happy together.

I was all for watching this story unfold on screen. What a difference a day makes. I am sure when they sent Marlena away this last time, it was to change the story. It has become nothing but a vehicle so John can screw another woman, while Marlena cries about the 'disk'. I have no sympathy for John, and will not watch him with Ava, and will not watch Marlena stand in the background watching everything from afar pinning away for him. The whole story has become mean spirited. It could have been beautiful. I've deprogrammed my DVR, don't know if there will be anything left to make me care enough to reprogram. Se la vi.

I agree.Once again, TPTB not only fail to deliver a John and Marlena love story, they go all out to destroy the characters in the process.I haven't watched this show in a long time and with news of John sleeping with Ava, I don't plan to tune in any time soon, either.

TPTB never had any intentions of giving us a love story. If they honestly think I'm going to sit back and watch John have sex with his little tramp they are dumber than I thought.John is dead, I don't recognize Marlena and as far as I'm concerned they can just cancel the show and put it out of it's misery.

I wish John stayed dead. At least he would have died happy and in love with his soul mate. Marlena was strong and dignified through it all. Now they're both pods and I can't stand watching what has become of their love story.

John did die happy and in love with his soulmate. The last words he ever spoke were "I love you" to Marlena I dunno who this new guy is and why they had to bring back Drake Hogestyn to play him if they had no intention of drawing any parallel to John Black. He could be played by anyone and be named Joe Bloggs for the lack of connection to who he is truly meant to be and what he is supposed to mean to Marlena. Marlena doesn't even have to do anything with him nor does any of this seem to impact on her so why it had to be John Black who they brought back is beyond me.At the very least, they could have been honest when they brought Drake back. They could have given the character a new name, a new history and made their intentions clear from the beginning i.e. they plan to bring him on as a new character, a new man in town with no connection to Marlena who is going to be paired with someone else instead of lying to the fans and masking this whole thing as a J&M love story to make it look appealing.

I've loved the last couple weeks with John and Marlena and I can hardly wait to see them make love But from what I've read everything after that sucks so it seems that Higley is back Why can't she understand that fans want to see Marlena fall in love with new John! Ugh Higley can't write anything decent.

John and Marlena's sex scene was HOT and I loved their story for the two weeks. Now I am back to not looking forward to Days.
