I have never seen that look on Jasons face before. When Sam took off her jacket today I thought Jason was going to trip over his jaw cause it was on the floor.
JASON AND SAM 4EVER
He hasn't had sex in a long time.
Sam has always been my fav Jason pairing, I really hope they get back together.
I liked her for Jason until that whole bit with her sleeping with Ric. Then, it was like all that emotional growth went right out the window & she went back to being the skank she was when she was Sonny's mistress. Then, it finished it for me when she let that nutty woman kidnap Jake & even helped her out. I think she's made strides, but I think she & Jason should just stay friends. If he takes her back, they've come full circle & made him a hypocrite.
Totally agree. Friends only I say.
I say friends only she is not for him at all. she sleeps with his friend sonny her sisters father yuck and gets pregnant then sleeps with Rick her mothers Husband and Sonny's brother Oh and by the way her OTHER sister's father. GROSS what is that about? She is not Good enough for my Jason.
Like Sam and Jason together. It's time they got over the past. Jax has forgiven Carly for all of the stupid things that she's done. Elizabeth has forgiven Lucky. Time for Sam and Jason, again. They are good together and she is one of the few women that can handle his life style.
IMO they are good together until the get together as a couple. JMO
I agree. I only like them as friends nothing more.
Quote:IMO they are good together until the get together as a couple. JMO Maybe this time around their relationship will be different. Both are older and wiser now. I really liked Sam and Lucky together. Kelly Monaco and Greg Vaughan are two of the hottest day time soaps stars out there today. She's beautiful, he's gorgeous, and both have rockin' bod's!!!!!!!! But the character of Lucky has turned into a drag. He's all ways b*tchen about something. I'm game for another Sam and Jason go round...I'd like to see how it would go. Maybe by some miracle she will become pregnant.
I really hope they do give them another chance. If it does not work out, ok then. But I would like to see them give it another go-around.
Jason and Sam have so much chemistry that the TV smokes when there together. Sam is the only woman for Jason. She completes him, not to mention they are great partners in crime. I think Jason was just going for liz cause she has his child and that creates a love on its own but it wasnt real. Sam is real. She belongs with Jason. Lucky and Liz are better together. Thier both holyer than thou..
I love them together. They have so much chemistry. I was hoping when he was talking to her on the couch that something would start. Well it did but it wasn't them. I want them to give it another try. They also work well together investigating t hings etc.
Gotta agree with you Mom about Sam & Lucky being hot together. Those hot tub scenes had my TV smokin' And yep, two rockin bodies those two.
Yeah...I kept thinking to myself...wow, this is pretty hot for daytime T.V.
That would be cool. I've always been on the Sam & Jason bandwagon. I just hate the character assination she went through, no sense in it. But I have to agree with LJ, it would make Jason a complete hypocrite and go against everything he stood for, especially since she sat back and watched Jake get kidnapped. (another thing I hate they had her do) Even though she is the best mate for him.
Plus I liked that she knew she was making his knees weak but was acting like it wasn't happening. Like that little outfit wasn't doing exactly what she knew it was. Damn, wish I could wear something like that and look that good.
Quote: it would make Jason a complete hypocrite and go against everything he stood for, especially since she sat back and watched Jake get kidnapped. Not really...their is such a thing as forgiveness. And Sam redeemed herself when she took Liz and the kids into hiding form Jason's enemies. And let's also not forget that their where underlying reason's that Sam watched baby Jake get kidknapped, which she also helped find him in the long run. But hey...that's JMO.
Excellent point Momx
Quote:Excellent point Momx
I wish I could wear that too but I think I'd scare myself and probably just make the old man look at me like I had lost it And those shoes I'd probably fall off them while I was looking in the mirror trying not to cry. That would be something to have to explain in the ER. just my luck
You have a point & I think he has forgiven her. I'm not completely against them being together again but the writer's need to the stop forgetting history and writting this stuff like we're idiots. It would make it a little easier to swallow.
Maybe I'm missing something but is there a particular reason why Sam can't get Jason to a hospital? I mean, they're not on the run so what exactly is up with that?
It's stupid that
Say that! AND she has on those spike heels to boot!! I wonder why she didn't take them off when she got in the bed with him. Gotta give her props though for saving Jason's life in those spike heels! Go Sam. Now get his azz to a doctor before he bleeds to death.
Ok, I like Jason and SAm together, I also like Jason and Liz. I would be happy with either pairing. Having said that, I am not surpised that they are making SAm a weka woman again. I liked her when she was on her own, no strings attached. I would hate for her to lose her independence again. I am not surprised though, the writers again, are making teh female weak. UGH!!!
They're not making her weak, just stupid. Which to me is worse than weak. She's supposed to have a crafty enough brain to con wealthy, successful businessmen into marrying her & wiping out their bank accounts without ever getting caught. She supposedly outsmarted that drug dealer & Jerry, yet she doesn't know how to get Jason to the hospital? She knows Spanish so translation wouldn't be a problem & I'm sure Jason speaks it as well since he ran Sonny's casino on his Spanish speaking island. I don't think the drug dealer she stole the car from is going to the police to report it so she should help him up & get him to the hospital. I think this was more about conning the audience into thinking they're so great together. Look at that. She's taking care of him & he's letting her, even after all they've done to hurt each other. It doesn't work on me. I just think the whole thing is a bad repeat of when he & Liz were in a similar situation. They can't con the audience into rooting for them by recreating the "best of " Jason & Liz. They're Jason & Sam & as such, they should make them behave like Jason & Sam, not Jason & someone else.
Say that LJ. The whole storyline must/have got to be a filler? A pathetic filler at that
Yup. That's exactly what it is. They've written themselves into a corner with the whole mob storyline & they don't know how to get out of it. As a result, they wrote themselves into a corner with Liz & Jason. Throwing him with Sam was just because she was the only other option with significant fan following & you can't have the hunkiest guy on the show sitting idle for as long as Jason has. If they knew enough about the mob to write an intelligent way for Jason to leave the biz without turning Sonny in to the feds, they'd probably put him with Liz. But, since they don't, he stays boxed in with the only available female who fits comfortably into the role of mob moll & that's also not fair to Sam, either. She was just starting to have her own identity & her self-worth was beginning to strengthen. Those of us who gave up on her after Jake's kidnapping are just starting to like her again & they are going to undo all of that to make her the whiny, clingy mess, who just happens to have quick reflexes & a strong survival instinct. Both actors deserve better.
I think my AV says it all but other than "my' preference I go with story...And the save you save me is very old and there's more of this to come I am still a Jason Morgan fan and I'd like more for him. I'm only interested in him putting his life first stop running around being concerned about Sonny's kids and do everything it takes to have a relationship with his son. Jason Morgan should be in a storyline coming full circle with being a Quartermaine...how many more of these silly adventures is he going to go on?They have run its course time for something new here. They say they don't want him domesticated problem is he always has been so why not claim your kid.
I thought they didn't have a "car"
I'm a Sam fan & a Sam/Jason fan, always have been always will be. But even I have to admit this current thing they're doing with Jason and Sam ain't cool. Yesterday's scenes were just creepy to me. I know he's having delusions and all, but her playing along and getting all emotional was just taking it too far. What happens when he comes out of his fever? I'm assuming they're gonna get it on while he's delusional. He remembers nothing and she's all emotional and having to pretend it didn't happen. Who wants to be that lay? I get she wanted to keep him talking but it was bit a creepy to me how it all played out. Looked better on paper, I guess. And how are they gonna have Jason miraculously recover from this fever with no infection and no damage to his shoulder.
Quartermaine DNA! They can have a roof fall on them, get shot in two places & boom! Once the fever breaks, good as new. Alan had a roof collapse on him. He recovered. Jason had an accident where the doc said he'd be a veg if he woke up or cold & unemotional. Neither is the case. Michael had a heart problem when he was born & was fine within weeks. He was shot & in a coma for over a year & woke up with a headache & irritable personality. Edward--How many heart attacks & surgeries has he had? He's still vital & active. Dr. Robin should get a sample of their DNA & find out what it is that heals them so quickly. Then, they should mass produce it for the rest of us!
Quote:I thought they didn't have a "car" Sam had got one from somewhere. It broke down or something.
I'm surprised Edward hasn't cashed in on that yet. Super DNA!
Me too! Everytime one of them survives some horrendous calamity, I keep expecting him to start researching it in order to add to his fortune. Michael'd be the perfect test subject because the Spencers have that super DNA too.
SSHHH! Don't give the writers any ideas.
It couldn't be any worse than what they're doing with Edward & Michael now. Could it? Edward's wandering around the house trying to turn a tough tomboy con artist into poor dead Emily & Michael's on some crappy looking set that's supposed to be a sport shop in a tropical vacation spot. The only business he's done is a cute girl his age, who's either a spy working for Jerry or her father is a business rival of Sonny's. Either way, his social life consists of that dead end & his sister, who's riddled with guilt for not only causing that accident, but for letting Michael think he did it. I say the Wonder-DNA story would be alot better.
I knew it! Ok, so Jason wasn't delusional when they got it on, but all this pretending it doesn't matter and getting with the mission, and that radio thing, UGH!I can't watch. Tell me when its over.
All I could think when I was watching those scenes was "what love starved teenager wrote this?" It was written so immaturely that I was wondering if they have teenagers writing for the summer. Two grown ups who've lived the kind of lives Jason & Sam have lived would not behave like that after sex. But, in fairness to Jason, he was taking his cues from Sam & her behavior was insanely stupid from the moment she jumped out of bed like a wife who just realized her husband was coming home in 5 minutes & she had to get there before him. He wanted her to stay there & she acted like all they shared was lunch from the drive-thru of the local taco shop. I was against them getting back together right from the first hints back when she was working for Karpov & the writers have done nothing to change my mind. In fact, I'm even more against it than before because they're going to make one of my favorite characters, Jason, act like a twit. It's bad enough they made him act out of character by becoming friends with her again after she helped a mentally unbalanced woman kidnap his child, but now they're going to make him act like a lovestruck moron, chasing after her. That's too much.
This we agree on. Even though I like Sam and Jason together, they aren't doing it right. Since the writers are saying screw what we did the last two years, they need to be responsible about this re-pairing. And that crapola we just witnessed was not responsible.
I find it interesting that everyone expects Jason to never go back with Sam because of what she did. Not saying that what she did wasn't horrible, but worse things have been done. She and Jason were in love and his pushing her away to "protect her" was lame. Sam is the one woman on the show equal to Jason's lifestyle and she doesn't try to change him. On the other hand, Claudia continues to wreak havoc on everyone on the show. Soon there won't be anyone left in town that hasn't been the target of one of her hits. But Sonny's going to stay with her and it feels like her actions are being glossed over to keep the character.Elizabeth and Lucky forgave each other for the terrible things they did to one another. Unfortunately, they have Elizabeth moving on the Nicolas, which just doesn't work for me (JMO). So now Lucky and Nicolas can hate one another. People forgive one another all the time on GH for the things that they've done. It's time that Sam and Jason made up.
To me Jason seems to be the one character they've kind of stayed true too since the writer shift of the late 90's/early 00's. Whenever it was. Jason is very black and white in his thinking. If he tells you something he means it. There's no wishy washy with him. Now yes, they have grown him up so he does realize there are some shades of gray. But if you look at who Jason is and what Sam did, there really is no way he would get back with her. I never wanted Sam and Jason to break up. You are right that whole pushing her away to protect her was stupid and Jason has done some questionable things that should make Sam think twice about getting back with him too. But that whole character assassination they put Sam though, (for no good reason. they could have strenghten her and matured her in other ways) sleeping with Ric, the one person on earth Jason hates more than Claudia, that whole ridiculous Amelia thing, hiring some thugs to pull a gun on Liz and those kids, and watching that woman take Jake and saying absolutely nothing about it. That is serious stuff, especially for someone with Jason's way of thinking. If your boyfriend slept with your mortal emeny and watched someone cart your kid off, you wouldn't be trying to look at him again either. You can forgive somebody and still not want to wake up next to them everyday. All I'm saying is if they're gonna do this, they need to do it right. That Veracruz fever-induced love tryst wasn't cool.
You're absolutely right about all of it. The Veracruz thing was scraping the bottom of the barrel & their goo-goo eyes on the plane acting like they're 12 or 13 with their first crush was ridiculous. Yes, Jason dumping her for her protection was dumb, but that's one time where it made sense. He panicked when she got shot & nearly died. Her sleeping with Ric was the beginning of the assassination of her character, but that he tried very hard to get past. But, the guy who dumped Robin for telling the truth about Michael & didn't forgive her for years wouldn't fall back in love with the woman who helped a psycho kidnap his child, a child he gave up to protect from lunatics. He might take her emotional pain at the time into consideration & forgive her, but he would not ever feel the same way toward her after that, no matter how well she suits his lifestyle or how lonely or sex-starved he is.
Totally love the scene with Jason and Sam coming down the stairs in a somewhat compromising position and realizing there was a room full of people! LOVE IT. Also loved Molly's accurate interpretation of it all. Good job GH
Molly didn't have it all right. She didn't know the bad things Sam did to Jason & Liz. She only knows that Sam was in a lot of pain. I think she wouldn't have lectured Jason if she knew the whole story. I think she would've realized that Jason had more compassion for Sam than most men would. The fact is if that was real life, Jason would've killed Sam for putting his son in the hands of a mentally unbalanced woman. I just hope they can get to a more mature phase of this & start acting like adults. They didn't act adolescent when they first fell in love. Why would they now?
Blah Blah Blah. Jason and Sam are perfect and entertaining together. I can't get enough of them.
I like Jason and SAm together. They have great chemistry and sexy as heck. I enjoy them together and I think it is kind of charming that they are rediscovering thier love and acting a bit silly. I like to see that side of Jason for one, makes him more human. As for Sam, it is nice to see her loosen up. SHe is always so closed up that this smiling playful side of her is kind of endearing. Ok, maybe I am a hopeless romantic, but I like this pairing.
I agree gyn. I like this side of Jason. I don't think he ever even acted this giddy (yea, it is giddy for Jason) with Elizabeth. I'll admit that I didn't want them to get together like this at first. I had preferred to just have them as friends but now I'm thinking they belong together. I like the way that they are not calling themselves a couple. They are just having fun and I'm liking it very much! I understand where you are coming from LJ about Sam putting Jason's son in danger that time. But she was a woman scorned at that time and everybody including Elizabeth has forgiven her. They always seem to forgive on this soap. Hell, the whole town practically forgave Jerry's azz after everything he did! Laura obviously forgave Luke for raping her. etc etcjmo
Yeah. The forgiving thing on soaps, this one especially, is a total joke. In real life, what Sam did is called "Aiding & abetting a felony" & she could also be charged with aiding & abetting after the fact. Personally, there's no way in hell I'd forgive anyone who helped a mentally unbalanced person kidnap my son. Nor would I be able to love them again. JMO. Nor would I forgive my rapist, let alone marry him & have 2 children with him. So, I suppose I should try to get past it all & ignore all sense of reality. Maybe then, I could like them as a couple again. Oh & since when would Jason make a big deal about the color of his tie? That he had to wear one? Maybe, but even that is doubtful. He's outgrown that stuff. Does anyone out there besides me remember that he planned his entire wedding to Courtney by himself, as a surprise for her? Carly didn't even help. Oh & not only did he wear a tie, it was white tie & tails. Just a small, not really important thing that was nagging at me through all of the Spixie wedding stuff.
LOL. No you're not the only one LJ. I was like why all the drama over Jason wearing a tie. Its not like he hasn't worn one before. Yep, they slipped up again and forgot that some of us don't forget stuff.
He said he's worn ties to court and that's about it. I think it was more about the color pink! Jason's not really into color at all. I liked that Sam called Jason on making Spinelli sleep in a pink room and Jason never did anything about changing it, etc. I also think that with Jason and Sam working there way back to each other as a couple, we're seeing Jason warm up a little - not so Stone Cold - which is nice. It's like he's becoming human!
