Hallmark Channel announced in a press release that Jack Wagner (ex-Frisco, GH; ex-Nick, B&B) and Cameron Mathison (ex-Ryan, AMC) will star in MY GAL SUNDAY, a new, two-hour backdoor pilot and potential prime-time series that begins production tomorrow, July 24, in Vancouver. Based on the book of short stories My Gal Sunday by bestselling author Mary Higgins Clark, the story centers around Sandra “Sunday” O’Brien-Parker (played by Rachel Blanchard), an attorney and private investigator and her newlywed husband and sleuthing partner, Henry Parker (Mathison), "whose deep political ties and endearing romance put them at the center of intrigue and scandal". Wagner plays Blanchard's father Danny. The show is scheduled to premiere on Hallmark Channel in 2014.
