The final five couples in the Season 16 semi-finals of DANCING WITH THE STARS are ready to take the stage tonight, and Kym Johnson and her dancing partner Ingo Rademacher (Jax, GH) are thrilled to have made it this far. "The semi-finals are always exciting," Johnson says. "We have not been getting the best scores, but I feel that Ingo has improved every single week. We are going into it with really nothing to lose at all. We are going to have a lot of fun.." The pair will be performing the Samba and Charleston this evening, and Johnson is excited to show off their dancing moves. "I love the Charleston, it is kind of my favorite dance," she continues. "And the Samba turned out really good. I’m really surprised with Ingo! I thought the Samba would be a really hard dance with him, but he surprised me. He is picking it up quickly."

Johnson has enjoyed working with fellow Aussie Rademacher. "Oh my gosh, it’s so fun!" she smiles. "We start in with our Aussie lingo. He has been living here for so long, so he has kind of lost his accent a little bit. Dancing with me, he has started getting it back pretty quick!" She also appreciates that he's so down-to-earth. "He's not Hollywood,” she says. "He lives in Hawaii with his gorgeous family. A really nice, family guy." Johnson admits she was surprised with his dancing abilities at first. "Our first dance was contemporary, and Ingo was surprisingly good. I thought he did a good job with that," she recalls. "He had a lot of natural ability from the beginning. When we started doing the quick step and other difficult forms, he struggled in the beginning but worked really, really hard. He has improved immensely."

Another highlight for Johnson has been Rademacher's four-year-old son Peanut. He has been popular with DWTS fans and a hit with the dancing couples. "Oh my gosh, Peanut is so adorable," Johnson laughs. "He was doing a tap dance for me other day. Running around being a matador, being hilarious. I think he's really enjoying coming out and watching his dad dance, so now he wants to dance. It’s just so sweet. Peanut is definitely helping us out, for sure. He has definitely helped us get this far." Besides Peanut, she also thanks loyal GH fans. "They are so amazing and have kept us in this competition."

Johnson continues to love working each season on DWTS. "It's such a great job. I get to do what I love for a living every single day, which is amazing. I get to take someone who has never danced before and turn them into a dancer, so it is also really rewarding."

The final five couples will be performing in the semi-finals tonight on DWTS at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. The results will be revealed at 9 p.m. ET on Tuesday.
