Also he did everything he could to undermine Victoria he even change the name of her project Beauty of Nature.He did a lot of things behind Victoria's back. I really blame Victor for the way the other kids treated Adam because he seemed to put him first because he was a yes man and as you know he likes yes men.And as for Neil he doesn't have a superior attitude just a confident one. Remember he came up from nothing as well and has worked hard for what he has achieved. He has gotten what he deserves because he proved that he could be trusted. Adam didn't really do that.So maybe take another look at Adam he is not the angel you think he is.

When "Adam" arrived in G.C., he didn't get so much as a "Please accept our condolences on your loss." There were icy stares and icier attitudes. Apparently, the brats just couldn't deal with a sibling coming into the picture. I think that's when the "I'll show you" attitude started with Adam. It was an understandable reaction to the nasty reception he got. I still think Neil has a very large ego despite his credentials and what he's done for the company. If he's so capable, he would have approached Adam in a mature manner and suggested they sit down and hash things out.

I'm sorry but Adam didn't exactly approach the situation in a mature manner either. He just up and fired Neil for no reason. And you forget Adam came to GC with a hell of a chip on his shoulders. So I wouldn't put all the blame on the Brats as you call them he didn't do much to make himself endearing to them either.I think the whole thing is down to Victor. He tried to cram Adam down Nick and Vikki's throat so the whole thing was handle in very poor taste by all concerned.And if Adam didn't try to throw his weight around like he did I'm sure Neil would have had a sit down and they could has hashed things out.
