I know this should go in the "Guiding Light" thread but I don't watch the show so I don't feel right about it. If it's true I feel you pain. Another world was cancelled 10 years ago and I still miss it. I never watched nbc datetime after that. and i cheered when they cancelled passions because it was the reason another world got cancelled.
I feel the same way. I don't watch GL, but if/when this hapens to one of my shows my heart will break. I feel so sorry for them.
I've been into GL a couple time in my soap-watching fandom. I feel bad for the actors. While I haven't watched the show in years, it still sucks! I just read that Crystal Chappell is coming back to DAYS as Carly Manning. She was on DOOL when I first started watching that show so I'm excited for her, and plan on tuning in to see her return.

I watched GL in my teen years. I stopped when the show threw away the very talented & much beloved Michael Zaslow. I think that was the beginning of the end for quality storytelling on that show. I'd tune in every once in a while simply because I missed some of my favorite characters that were still there. But, the show had lost something & even though there were many talented actors through the years & occasionally exceptional storytelling, it wasn't consistant & many viewers simply gave up & switched the channel.
