Huge DAYS Casting Change!
By SOD • Posted: Apr 4, 2011Soap Opera Digest has learned that Emmy winner Natalia Livingston (ex-Emily/Rebecca, GH), who just started airing three weeks ago as DAYS's Taylor, has been let go and replaced with another Emmy winner who used to call Port Charles home — Tamara Braun (ex-Ava, DAYS; ex-Carly, GH et al). Braun appeared as Ava in 2008 and took home a golden trophy for her Salem performances in 2009. She will start taping today; look for her to first air in late April. "It was decided to take the character of Taylor in a new direction," explains Co-Executive Producer Gary Tomlin. "Natalia Livingston is an amazing actress and a consummate professional. She is a class act and everyone at the studio adores her."

I do not like the change! Do not like the new Taylor, either. I don't think Tamara is that good of an actress. I don't know know what they were thinking, but they definitley made the wrong choice. Natalia was perfect in the role of Taylor. Days needs to rethink the decision to recast the role of Taylor. Come on already, bring Natalia back!!!!!
Oh come on... you can't be serious with this actress and this role? This is not even a close call. Natalia was perfect for this role. This girl is not even close. Come on anyone watching does not believe for a second that EJ would leave Nicole for this girl. You've made me have to fast-forward through all their interactions because it is so unbelievable. Please bring back Natalia or at the very least replace this girl!
I cannot stand the new "Taylor". I just got used to the Taylor you had. Not too mention, it is riduculous to bring on an actress that played another character on the same program just a few years ago. Also, isn't Taylor supposed to be Nicole's younger, more irresistible sister??? Uh, not this new Taylor. No offense to Ms. Braun, but come on'. She is older and Nicole blows her out of the water. At least the other Taylor, Natalia Livingston, made it somewhat believable. This is just another reason that I might just may give up daytime television all together. I will save my Tivo time for something else.....
Bad move Days.... Bad move! BTW- get rid of this clone Rafe character, that is stupid. Also, Melanie needs to quit being so whiney and Carly so .... well, so Carly.
