I knew they'd blow it! Even after seeing the destruction of Phillip and Olivia, Josh and Reva, Mallet and Dinah and most infamously,Jonathan and Tammy, I still had hopes the writers wouldn't screw things up for Olivia and Natalia. Hmm, actress gets pregnant so they write it in the story, then they abandon it and begin carefully attempting to hide the pregnancy while simultaneously crafting a powerful, loving, unconventional romance--only to torpedo all of that hard work with a lame "sudden discovery" that the character is pregnant after all! It looks to me like the writers are backpedaling from a controversial relationship in favor of a "normal" one. (As if a 60% divorce rate can be considered "normal"!)If they planned this story all along, then I feel cheated and used. If the writers are just making it up as they go along, then I'm insulted and angry! I've said it in the past and I'll say it again, when this show is good, it's darn good--but when it's bad, it's pretty darn awful! With the exception of the boring bromide of a hero they are trying to saddle "Natalia" with, the performances have beeen extraordinary. Crystal (Olivia) Chappel and Jessica (Natalia) Leccia have been real professionals even when scripts took confusing paths that made little sense. Having seen bad writing in other literary realms, I can say that GL's travails reveal a lack of editorial supervision--in short, the writers are running things--into the ground. Building up strong storylines only to ruin them with abysmal, new "angles". When this train wreck of a soap opera goes off the air, hopefully the players will find work on other shows. I still want to remain hopeful for 'Liv and 'Talia but the track record says otherwise. "Only love can save the world?" Apparently, not on this show!

I know there are some very disappointed viewers out there over the whole Otalia storyline but I'm gonna sit back and see what happens...the actress that plays Natalia will be off screen for a short time due to giving birth so they had to do something and she is only take a short maternity leave.....I think Doris going with Olivia to find Natalia should be very entertaining......But as for the rest of the show I'm loving it.....The whole Edmund storyline....is Jeffrey really dead and is this the way to bring Josh and Reva back together....will Edmund show up in Springfield and try to take Baby Henry (who by the way has got to be the cutest little baby on tv right now.....so love Baby Henry and his little hats and he's always so happy)will Phillip really die and will he tell his family..........there's just so much happening and I'm on edge each day.....cannot believe this show will not find a new home...

How good was Guiding Light today? Bill and Lizzie and everything that could go wrong, did go wrong and Bill just kept smiling and saying "it's all good" but then no one showing up because of the wrong date on the invitation........I knew my girl Dinah would come to the rescue......that ending was too cute.....I can't wait for Monday to see the actual wedding.....Speaking of Dinah, I can't believe TPTB did not find a way to hang onto GT until the end.....I so love her and Shayne together and if this show has to end I'm so disappointed that I won't get to see a happy ending for these two.

I so enjoyed today's show! Bill and Lizzie's wedding was so sweet and it was nice to see some old faces at the wedding. It made sense for Michelle to be there as she and Bill have been best friends most of their lives and I liked that they mentioned why Danny wasn't with her.Loved that Mindy was there as well and so enjoyed Rick and Matt both flirting with Mindy.It was lighthearted and fun! I am so going to miss this show

Watching GL right now is painful, only because it is so good, I can't believe it's going to be gone in two months. It is doing what it should have done years ago, basing stories in its rich history-Phillip and Beth, Josh and Reva looking for Jeffrey-along with new stories like Remy and Christina, Marina and Mallet, and Shane and Dinah. I even like Cyrus with Mel. It is so nice to see her do something after her break up with Rick.I hope someone sees the potential here and stops the Light from being extinguished.

ITA! Those scenes with Josh and Reva were so powerful especially the other day when he finally exploded about knowing what she was going through and the look on her face as she tried to apologize but he just kept talking and the welling up of tears in her eyes....Philip just breaks my heart because he's trying so hard to "fix" his family before he dies but refuses to be selfish and tell them.....his scenes with Lillian and Beth are so heartfelt that I find myself welling up every time....

Is Jeffrey really dead??? Is Edmund??? Even though I secretly wanted Josh and Reva to reunite, I wouldn't want it at the expense of Jeffrey. But I guess it's the only way to break Reva and Jeffrey up.I completely agree about the cuteness of baby Henry...and his hats!!!Another fave GL moment: When Beth told Lizzie that Remy was Max's father...she just LAUGHED! It was to real and honest........Any word on someone picking the show up??

From everything I've read it appears that Jeffrey is really dead......Reva was heartbreaking on Friday! I do want a Josh and Reva reunion and like you said this may have been the only way with the short amount of time left. As for Edmund....I don't think we've seen the last of him.....With the way the Marina is acting she just may lose her mind if they don't find him but soon and poor Mallet wondering if she killed the "faux" Edmund.....From what I've read it really does like look the light will stop shining on September 18th.....They've given the town of Peapack NJ a check for $10,000 as a way of thanks and I've heard that they are donating a lot of the wardrobe. Some of the actors have found other jobs as have some of the writers so I'm really not holding out much hope. I just know that right now the show is so good and I will continue to watch until the very end

I just wonder if they are going to wrap up alot of the story lines or leave them all hanging just in case...?

I really think they'll wrap a lot of them up......I was shocked yesterday that it was Dinah that killed the fake Edmund and I must say I was also disappointed......I didn't want it to be any of the core characters was hoping that it was actually Edmund......now I have to wonder if Marina knew all along that it was Dinah b/c how could she have not noticed the stroller was broken?

Jefferey's memorial service today was so heartbreaking......Kim Zimmer was excellent as usual showing the myriad of emotions.....I definitely needed the tissues....but if you saw the previews......is Jefferey really gone.....who was that in the woods?I am going to so miss this show
