Yeah. I'm sick of Kendall being the show's fall guy for everything lately. I won't be surprised if Greenlee blames her for the tornado if she's trapped somewhere with Ryan. LOLI'm keeping the fingers crossed the the writers will get who she is and get her and Zach back on the right track.

Joe, Do you know when Alicia will be back on screen? I really miss Kendall and cannot wait for her to be back full time. I have heard Alicia will be back taping after the Christmas/New year break, but what does that mean as to when Kendall will be back? Thank you

Not Joe. They are usually about 4 weeks ahead in taping..but I was at a fan event last week where Aiden Turner said that because of the holiday break when the studio is closed for almost 2 weeks, they will only be about 2 1/2 weeks behind at that point.

If Lish tapes right after the break, that would mean mid-January I would imagine.

I miss her so much as well. It's not the same without her. I can't wait for her return (but I am so happy she is getting the break she deserves.)

Lish did say that they taped some more scenes with her in the coma..so she will be on screen on and off until she comes back officially.

Keep in mind that when something is shot does not always have a bearing on when it airs. Scenes might be taped and held. (I'm not saying that's the case here, but it can sometimes be misleading to assume...)

I'm curious to that too...feedback on Ryan the hypocrite and his role in this story, once again playing interloper...but as a whole, what is the feedback to the overall show?Is anyone happy with any of the stories?

I found the scene with Zach on the poker table offensive and disgusting and not because it was with Zach, but because it came off more like some disgustingly bad soft porn...(Am I alone in that feeling) I just thought the scene was disgusting and so not daytime...but then again, Pratt has traded romance & Love in the afternoon for cheap/sleazy..I don't know.... I wish there was something to be happy about, but with what is happening to AM/Kendall and the other characters, Pratt is really making waves with fans and not in a good way....and I find Ms. Luner to be a bit full of herself in her interviews, but that's just me...

Hi Joe/MichaelIn this weeks weekly--it was stated that the fans were waiting with baited breath for Erica and Ryan to kiss. My question to you is ---Where are these fans? Once again I feel that Frons and Pratt are lying to us ---as they did ---with everything else that has transpired on our screens these past couple of years.Erica and Ryan---cougar and toddler--I mean really WTF is this crap? If and I mean IF---they were really listening to their fans--a) Ryan would no longer be living in PV but he would have been cremated and his ashes strewn over some cliff.If they were listening to their fans and I mean really listening---we would be seeing more romance in the afternoons---we would be seeing how characters are getting from point A to point B---not having to imagine everything happening OFFSCREEN. Yesterday I felt like I had missed a couple of days---everyone did not start off where they left off the day before---discussions had taken place which we were not privvy to. You want to keep the fans hanging on---follow through on the characters convos instead of having them tell us that important stuff happened. Frankly I am still waiting for the biggest rivalry ever to hit PV.Where is it---and who were the rivals?Where is the Rendall fanbase?---That big whopping 50 percent that wanted this putred couple?Instead for Ryan---Zach donated for his sister-in-law--and Kendall revisited her abuser--Kendall cheered on as her abuser vowed to destroy her husband---and now all is rosy and peachy in the Slater/Lavery compound as if nothing happened? What a load of crap---and after all is said and one Frons and Pratt still have their jobs?--The ratings are seeping further and further into the toilet.No---I'm not feeling very sweet---I have my bitter panties on---for the destruction of Zendall--Graiden--Annie and Aidan--Jerica---all for keeping the most miserable character in PV front and center--Ryan Lavery. They should be ashamed of themselves. As much as I am thrilled that Ryan is no longer officially "involved" with Kendall, I am not so hot on him being involved with her mother. That still keeps Ryan in Kendall's circle as far as I am concerned.

Also, I don't know who thinks it's a good idea for Ryan to be involved with 4 women in such a short time - well actually more than 4 if you count the times he vacillated between them...you know, Kendall-Greenlee-Kendall-Greenlee-Kendall-Annie-Greenlee-Kendall-Greenlee-Kendall-Greenlee - Erica? Did I leave anything out?

I am not a Ryan fan ..the understatement of the year... but if I were, I would be outraged on the way they are writing the fickleness of this character. It totally eliminates the possibility for anyone to take one thing out of his mouth seriously.

I would really like to know which fans are clamouring to see this... Yes, Ryan and Erica were fun in a scene about a month ago when they were stranded in the car, but for me, Ryan was just scenery. SL hit that scene out of the ballpark, anyone else could have been standing there. But I digress...even so...

Add this is Ryan's constant need to tell everyone else how they screwed up..and he's totally fast forward material for me. Susan Lucci is not usually fast forward material but she may be in the current storyline.

Anyone else bothered by the fact that when Ryan and Kendall recently broke up, Kendall basically shouldered all the blame. Ryan pretty much listened and accepted it. NOthing about his anger, nothing about stealing her husband's company, nothing about taking advantage of someone who was obviously upset about many things, just a quiet acceptance of Kendall's mistakes. Freaking unbelievable.

Kathy, great post...The writers continue to write Ryan as a low-life, user/abuser pig who takes no responsibility for his actions and allows his victims to shoulder all the blame..This is no different from any story that Ryan is in..It was Kendall fault that Rylee didn't work..Annie's fault that Ryannie failed..I hate that Ryan will once again not pay for his crimes...I hate that Erica will be tainted by this Ryan infestation...I wish I could say it was unbelievable that she is taken all the heat, all the blame, and Ryan just allows her to do it, but this is par for the course and the reason I hate the character...We will never be free of this disgusting character because Frons/Pratt love him... THey shove him in our faces at the expense of the other characters, couples, the show, and the fans...It's just disgusting, stupid, but it's all they ever do..Ryan is never too blame... Never takes responsibility, never wrong, and his victims are never free of him...

It may only have lasted one day, but I saw and heard from Zach all the things I've wanted him to say to Ryan, from "you can't come and go in my house as you please" to "you helped yourself to my wife, my bed and my house". Ryan had no excuse because let's face it, there is none for how disgusting his behavior has been for a few months now. Best yet, Kendall didn't seem too thrilled to see Ryan roaming around her house as Team Slater arrived for their homecoming. I'm glad Zach said what he needed to say to Ryan's face. I'm glad Kendall told Ryan to stop it when he gave his lame-o answer as to why he was there. I'm glad Zach knows that Rendall is over, and I'm glad that Kendall believes in Zach again. It's just one episode, but it did my heart good.Today is proof that AMC can address its own stupidities when it wants to.

I love the Zendall smackdown of Ryan yesterday, the only problem is, they will never have Ryan understand or see what a pig he is...They continue to write this character as selfish, self-absorbed beyond anything I've ever seen, self-righteous, disgusting, abusive, and vile..Ryan's excuse for being there, EMma.... Now, he's using his kids to cause problems and thinks its okay....Well, he's used them before..RYan thinks it's okay to be there anytime he pleases because Spike lives there..If TPTB would buy a clue and finally do what the masses want, make Ryan pay, kill him off, send him packing the ratings would skyrocket..TK/AM played the scene perfectly.....even with the lunacy of bringing GL up..I want Zen back.... but I want them back without the constant Ryan infestation, propping, sinking up the story...More than that I want Charles Pratt to go and let Brian Frons go out the door with him...The ratings continue to take a dive, but TPTB refuse to do what is needed to save this show...

Let's see..since Pratt arrived, the blame has been placed on the viewers who are not faithful, those high school actors who needed someone to take them down a notch - someone like Jamie Luner (yeah whatever), the viewers who are seeing things on screen that are not really there and finally Eden Riegel.

Pratt also announced that everything that came before him was really just ending storylines started by other headwriters but starting in May, he would be solely responsible for what is seen on our screens. Last week's ratings didn't hit 2.0 even once.

I am curious to hear someone at AMC state exactly WHAT the problem is this time in their opinion. It would be nice to find some people take responsiblity for their own messes but like the character of Ryan Lavery(I hate to beat a dead horse but blaming your 7 year old daughter for barging into Ian's homecoming was lower than low), it always seems to be someone else's fault. Let's see indeed.

It's also how he acted with Never Will Be Liza...First, they have Ryan stalking Kendall in Zen's home, blaming Emma for being there, getting assy with Zach, and saying things like:"MySON sleeps in this house" as if that gives him the right to enter their home uninvited, unwanted whenever he wants..Acting as if Zach shouldn't have a problem with him being there and even after Zach told him why, which he should have known, it was all Zach's problem...Ryan gets nasty with UNLiza because she dared to put some responsibility for Annie's craziness onto him....The scene with Ryan/UnLiza was okay because putting two of the most useless characters together makes it easy to FF>.Scenes like those make you hate the character even more..So back to topic... Who Will Pratt Blame this time..My Money is On Us..... ER comes in Second.....Pratt will never take responsibility...anymore than Frons..

Seems like he has turned his attention onto Annie. He was practically spitting venom when he talked about messing up any plans to set her free. For a wife that he woke 1 day and couldn't remember he sure has a lot of anger toward her now. You're right he never takes responsiblity and I just cannot stand his self rightous, self important, I'm a better person than you, ranting and raving. If I remember correctly he is nothing but a former con man, but I guess it's ok for some to throw stones. As for Emma the only time she or Spike for that matter, enter his mind is when he can hide behind them. I don't think that Annie should be free but I don't think jail or Adam's is the answer. I guess all I can do is hope that if Annie freaks out again she takes out Ryan. I say it's justifiable homicide because he mentally abused her to the point of insanity.
