I was never a big Brenda fan and now I find that I FFwd through most of the show, especially her scenes with Sonny. The character has been gone too long and offers nothing in the way of a storyline. Bad move bringing her back.

I can't really answer that question because I can barely hear what Brenda is saying most of the time. I don't know if she talks too softly or mumbles or if my hearing is going! It only happens with Brenda though. Selective hearing? Maybe that is an answer after all. I'm not saying that I don't like Brenda, it's just a little gripe that I have.

My personal opinion I don't think this is the place to ask this question. To me it seems like nobody on this site except me likes Brenda. And I haven't been proven wrong yet. So i think most people would say it has hurt GH. But, as the man says that's just my opinion. I don't think it's hurt it. Although, as happy as I am that she's back. I'm not happy with how everyone on the show is acting. All the women are very insicure and all the men are falling all over themselves for her. She's not that special. I could see Sonny because she was his first love but spinelli? I don't get it. And as for Jax in a way I don't blame carly for being upset. How is she suppose to feel? Not that I agree with how she is going about it.

I like Brenda too. I think her return has livened up the show. I just wished they would come on with the Balkan reveal so that the action can get going again. I think her return is doing what is is supposed to do. They just need to tone down the Brenda worship. But since she came back to town, it has been all good. I want more Carly/Brenda scenes though.

The same way Jax feels since she has put Sonny and Jason ahead of him since day one. This is a woman that wanted to sleep with Jason to get back at Jax for being friends with Brenda. I'm still undecided if Brenda's return has helped or hurt. I've never been a huge fan of Brenda. Never disliked her either. I will say that her return has been handled terribly. This is not VM-G's fault. It's the writers' fault. They've made a multitude of mistakes from the start. The only thing that has made any sense has been her work with the children's charity. That's something she's been involved in off camera for years. Trying to recreate Brangelina & pairing her with "Milksop Murphy" was mistake #1. Dragging the pain of Rome out for as long as they did before Jason got there was mistake #2. Murphy was so boring, he made Jax look interesting. Finally, Jason dragged her back to Port Charles, which is where this mess should've improved. Instead, within hours of landing, every man in town was suddenly (unrealistically, especially Spinelli, given his penchant for blondes) stupified by Brenda's perfection (Never mind that Sonny's original beautiful brunette, Olivia has more personality in her pinky toe than Brenda on speed) & every woman in town with the exception of Robin, has been has been infected by a bad case of the "Green Eyes" syndrome. Not entertaining at all. Mistake # 6, all the bad actors playing inept Russian gangsters. For the record, any NYPD detective will tell you the Russian mob is rarely inept. It's one of the reasons they have so many problems getting rid of them. The possibility of Aussie Jerry Jacks' mercenary & low level drug pusher being a cover & in reality being "The Balkan" & having this whole separate life with grown children no one knew about is mistake #7. I sincerely hope that's not where they're going for a lot of reasons. Reason # 8 is the whole Brenda & Dante fling & baby story. That was such a bad choice. It was so predictable. I can't believe there's a viewer out there who was shocked she'd been involved with Dante. The biggest reason it's hurt the show is that they've done nothing worthwhile with the character of Brenda. She's stagnating. It's unfair to VM-G & viewers.But, lest you think I see nothing positive, I do see positive things about her being back. I enjoy the interaction with her & Jason. They have terrific chemsitry. Of course, the show will do nothing with it so as not to offend Jasam fans & Sonny & Brenda fans. I also like the fact that Robin has a loyal girlfriend who won't be a fairweather friend the likes of Nikolas....if they ever use that connection beyond Brenda bringing her cookies & whining about her love life. I liked her blink & you missed it visit with Edward as well. So, considering how much worse her return could've been, I'd say it's neither hurt nor helped GH.

Once again the writers put us thru useless scene's and now we are getting Brenda and Sonny of old. It's nice to see Sonny smile. Now if we can get Jason and Liz together I'll be a very happy camper.

Yuk, Jason and Liz. Talk about dullsville. Jason needs to stay with Sam or stay alone....jmo. Liz needs to stay behind the counter at GH and regret jacking up her relationship with Lucky and the one she could have had with Nikolas. I love the fact they she is seldom on camera.
