I was also shocked when Laura grabbed Scott from behind. The only thing worse than a women scorned is a pissed off mother. I second the "chant"...Go Luara!!!!!!!!

I'm late to the party, I'm just now watching Thursday and Fri's shows. I'm GLUED to this storyline already, and it already feels every bit as much like the "good old days" of Gloria Monty at the helm for these characters. I'm completely loving this, and I really hope Genie comes back and stays on GH. This is awesome, after just the first day!

I agree. This storyline, rich with history, is much more interesting than "Sonny has to marry Claudia". Genie Francis and Kin Shriner are awesome together. I can't wait until Luke and Tracy get in the mix.

I would like to see the scenes when Laura finds out that she is not actually married to Luke. You KNOW Scott is going to throw that in her face.Will she be the earth mother, and understand why everyone wanted to give her the wedding? Or will she be pissed off that everyone thought she was too weak, and lied to her face and made her go through the charade?

Knowing Laura, who always thinks of what her family has to face and not what she has to, my guess is she'll be more sad than mad, and feel sorrow for realizing what all she's missed out on, or something like that.

As we all seen on yesterdays show11/6, Laura now knows whats been going on. She has come back as a stonger Laura in my eyes. She is mad at Luke for not respecting her enough to tell her about being married to Tracy. And I see that they say Luke will make his choice...will they fool us into thinking he will pick Laura as we all think he will, or is he going to pick Tracy? Interesting!! So if they have Luke pick Tracy, where does that leave Luara? Open to a healthy new relationship with some one else?...HINT HINT...Mac. There isn't another man on that show within her age rage that could be a better match for her. If only TPTB could be more like us viewers and see the possibilities. But if they do have Luke choose Laura...God help us all. Tracy will be the ultimate women scorned!

I think Laura will go away for a while to clear her head. Maybe th PTB will bring her back for good and than they will find her a new love interest. Mac would be interesting. I loved Luke and Laura and they are "the Couple" of the soaps but I do like Tracy with Luke. They both get each other. To me it is a perfect pairing.

I love the Laura that woke up. She's strong and not afraid to stand up for herself. I loved the fact that she was angry with Scot and Luke and had no problem telling them how she felt and what she expects from them going forward. It was great that she refused to give in to Scot's whining and told him that it was time for him to move on as well. Scot/Luke and Laura need to move on from each other because they have truly grown in different directions. Since Laura will leave now, I hope that she is brought back and allowed to develop a life and story line. She has her kids and grandkids and a new love would be great.

I am a man and have been following Gh for 30 years(my mom got me hooked when I used to come home from school).I've followed Luck and Laura from the begining and always thought they belonged together.If they do not get back together I don't think I could watch the show anymore. Call me a sap but I loved the kiss they shared at the end of todays show.

I hate to say it but I think Luke is going to choose Tracy. Then Laura is going to try and stay strong for her kids. Laura will have Scottie following her like a lost puppy. So she will leave Port Charles to get away and go see a specialist cause she is determined to stay awake for good. I won't like it I always have thought Luke and Laura belong together. But it's a soap who knows somewhere down the road the may realize that they are soulmates.

I still think that Anthony Geary would have chemistry with a paper sack. He's just that good. I do have to say though---Genie Francis is looking HOT!

Genie Francis is such a great actress, and she adds so much to the storyline. Her compassion, strength and fabulous interactions with everyone is incomparable. I hope she finds a way to stay!

GH has their heads in their backside. Genie is all for staying (she's said more times than not that she would love to come back and stay), but they aren't listening. It was so nice seeing Laura bonding with her kids and Nadine. I'm going to miss her when she's gone.

So I have come to the conclusion that with all the soaps not just GH, don't have a clue as to what the fans want, nor do they care. If they did care they would create a story line for Laura. They don't seem to have a problem making story lines for newbies that the fans could care less about, go figure. In the past couple days that Laura has been on I have not got out of my seat for anything for fear of missing her scenes. LOL. I like how I feel when I'm watching Laura on the screen, it feels like home. I know that might sound funny, but I can't think of another way to put it. TPTB should hire a person to read what people are saying in the forums and let the writers know what the people are saying and what they want, what they like and don't like. What a concept, LOL

I will miss her too. I know she will be back though. I have a feeling she won't be gone long. I do agree Genie looks fabulous! GH just has to make sure when Laura does come back they give her a good storyline. They better not but her on the back burner like the did to alot of geat characters. She needs time to really bond with her family and catch up. I did like how Liz came with Lucky to see Laura and they told her the truth about Jake. That shows alot or respect I think.

It's funny because I feel more connected to Laura this go around than I did when she woke up and Luke and Laura got married. Maybe it's because Laura is so much stronger this time around? I wanted her to smack Tracy so much, but she only had respect for Tracy because she not only loves Luke enough to let him go, but she nursed him through heart attack after heart attack.

I wonder if Laura really is in Paris. On the phone, she made it appear that the caller was telling her they did not send a man for her. Was it a coincidence that Elizabeth broke the silence about Jake's paternity and he has been kidnapped by the Russians? Or has Laura been kidnapped herself?I can't see how the Russians would play into it, but it certainly would make a nice twist!
