Gigi Gigi Gigi! They need to stop shoving her down my throat. She's everywhere! She's involved with Marcie, Michael, Todd, Tommy, Rex, Adriana, Viki, Charlie, Shane, the diner, BE, Natalie, Jared, John, Ramsey. She hid Marcie. She helped them. She lived with John and now she lives with Viki. She's the mother of Rex's child. She now works at BE. Give me a break from her, please.
It's annoying the heck out of me that she has seeped into every story and taken over. I know people like her and I did too, but too much of one character is never a good thing.
They sure do love her over at the writers department.. She's a single mother whom everyone must admire, protect, and fuss over. All the men want to admire her and all the women are jealous of her. *rolling my eyes*

Oh how I agree. This character just is NOT necessary and I think Farah Fath leave SO much to be desired as an actress. The scenes with her confessing Shane's paternity to Rex were physically painful to watch
It drives me mad and I'm not even a daily viewer! I tune in at least twice a week and I still cannot fathom why we are supposed to care about her. As someone who witnessed Farah Fath on Days Of Our Lives throughout her entire stay, all I can say is that she's mediocre (at best). At one point, when she was still playing Belle's sidekick, I thought she could do well on a sitcom. It is indeed painful to watch her do dramatic scenes, I fear I might shrink into nothing from all the cringing that I do. She might have had a successful run over at DAYS, but really, I think it had a lot to do with the fact that 1) Kirsten Storms took off, and 2) Jason Cook became her leading man. She is not, nor will she ever be leading lady material. And no amount of airtime and shoving her down people's throats will make her one, either.

ITA. I am soo sick of Gigi, patron saint of all single mothers. Don't get me started on her lies to Rex for no reason I can tell except she is pissed that he didn't end up with her. PLEASE give FF a long vacation. The character was fine in small doses, but now whenever I see her I turn my TV OFF.

My guess is the interim writers felt more comfortable writing a new character than touching too much on some of characters they didn't know as well. When Ron's stuff starts airing again, I have a feeling there will be more of a balance.

I can understand that, the problem is Gigi was the wrong character to do it with because most people can only take the character in small doses and IMO, Farah just leaves a lot to be desired as an actress. She can work the light comedic stuff pretty well but you get into dramatic material and you practically cringe watching her because its so bad, I think she is very 1-tune and cannot pull the dramatic or emotional material off at all.
I am sorry but I find Gigi refreshing. She makes me smile. I think she sees Rex is with Adrianna and doesn't want to cause any problems for him which she know will happen if the truth comes out.
I am really enjoying the Gigi scenes. IMO, they're refreshing. Gigi's scenes and Vicki and Charlie's scenes are the only ones that I'm really interested in right now.And I think that Farah is fantastic!
Really?---I hadn't given it much thought. I simply figured various characters had their 'turn up at bat' and considering the '1968' storyline just concluded, the whole "Rex/Gigi/Shane" element was a mere extension of all that...JMHO.brtedi
I find the character of Gigi to just be blah. She really annoys me with her flip flopping and terrible treatment of Brody. She had no problems taking Brody's life savings to off and get intentionally electrocuted chasing after some guy that left her and then she has the nerve to be a total [censored] to Brody. Girlfriend needs to get her priorities straight
I liked Gigi, but I hate what they did to her storyline and it feels like she is being shoved down my throat. This show needs to go back to what it was before the strike. Back then I enjoyed so many things.
I completely agree with you 100%. I never cared for her character to begin with, but she's on-screen ALL THE TIME. Enough is enough.

I know, I realize what worked about Gigi and Rex was that we got them in small doses, now that they are on everyday they have lost ALL appeal. I really liked them when I started watching then the whole lies started and then they were on everyday being shoved down my throat and now I cant stand them.
I LOVE GIGI! I love her and rex together mostly because they are down to earth, they are not rich hoity toities taking over everything all the time. They are what keeps me watching! Im so bored wuth every other character other than them.
I used to like Gigi, but I have come to realize that was because back then, she was on 2 days a week at best. She is great in small doses but put her on 5 days a week and she loses ALL appeal atleast for me. In fact when she is on so much I just want to switch the channel I really cant watch her anymore, WAY to much over exposure.
