GH’s Michael Easton Opens Up About Finn’s Addiction

In the new issue of Soap Opera Digest, Michael Easton (Finn) discusses his drug-addicted character’s painful detox. “Without getting too specific, I’ve been there. I’ve seen it. I’ve tried to help a friend though it,” he says of Finn’s gritty withdrawal scenes. “It’s heartbreaking to witness.” The toughest scene for him to play, he reports, was when Finn “had to be cruel to the lovely Hayden, which is nearly impossible for him to do.” Should Finn conquer his addiction, which he’s been wrestling with since he arrived in Port Charles last year, Easton predicts, “Minus the sweats, shakes and gothic needle kit, I think he’s going to be a rather charming fellow.” For more with the actor, check out the new issue of Digest, on sale today.
