GENERAL HOSPITAL aired a repeat episode. Check back Tuesday for the latest recap!
Tuesday
At the carnival kick-off party bar, Andrea chatted with Edward and opened up
to him about her husband's "mess." She thanked Edward for listening to her and drugged his drink. Robin and Patrick spied them talking and came over.
Robin noted that Edward was in the Metro Court the day that Brianna had been
murdered; he denied renting a room there. Andrea was fed up with Robin
questioning her and walked away.
Sonny and Alexis had a good time at the carnival with Morgan and Molly.
Alexis blanched at the kids' next choice of booths. Sonny laughed at her
uneasiness. Morgan then managed to win a prize, which was a Yankees cap.
Claudia and Kristina were all set to go on a ride together, but they were
interrupted by Michael. He became upset when she shared that the fortune
teller warned her that something bad would happen. Claudia believed the
fortune teller's prediction was ridiculous. Keifer ran into them and
Kristina left with him. Keifer said that he missed her and pulled her into a
kiss, but Alexis interrupted them.
Nikolas approached Ethan at the carnival's baseball toss booth and told him
not to worry, that he'd soon be dumping Rebecca. Elizabeth came up behind
him and overheard — and was not pleased. "Aren't you supposed to play games
at a carnival?" Nik snarked. Ethan implored Liz to stop Nikolas.
Jason and Sam decided to go to the carnival. They were greeted by Maxie and
Spinelli, who was dressed as a clown. After, they went home where Maxie
wiped off some of his clown makeup; they kissed. When the phone rang,
Spinelli answered and volunteered to transfer papers on Jason's behalf....
Jason and Sam went to the shooting booth and were surprised to find Coleman
manning it. Jason took aim and was disappointed when he — surprisingly —
missed the target. He was about to use a real gun to make it so he could win
a bear for Sam, but a nervous Coleman simply handed over a stuffed animal.
After, Jason spied Liz and Lucky enjoying time with Jake.
Lulu enjoyed herself as she spent the day at the carnival with Dominic. When
he tried to show off by hitting one of those strength bells, Lulu slyly
asked Alice to keep him from winning. Still, he managed to win a stuffed
platypus for her. Things became awkward when they ran into Johnny.
Sonny bumped into Olivia while walking around. They reminisced about their
days spent at Coney Island. "You make everything fun," Sonny told her as
they remembered the good, old days. Olivia became uncomfortable when Dominic
came over to say hello and she saw him standing next to Sonny.
Michael went to see the fortune teller. She informed him that he's able to
"see things," but hasn't come to terms with his gift. She then correctly
concluded that he'd been in a "deep sleep" for a year. Michael believed that
Kristina and Kiefer had given her the information, but she insisted that he
had a special power. "A very particular hell awaits you," she warned. Later,
Lulu stopped by and she told her that Lulu waits for love, but it eludes
her. She warned that "something wicked this way comes."
Andrea ran into Alexis at the carnival and the women exchanged words.... Edward got in his car and headed toward the carnival, but then suffered a
heart attack as he was driving.
At the jail, Anthony ordered his thugs to take down Sonny and his men....
Spinelli went to the drop-off point on the docks, but couldn't find anyone
so he walked around looking for a contact. Suddenly, several guns were
pointing at him. He dropped the papers and ran as the guns went off.... At
the carnival, Edward's car came barreling through the crowds — aiming right at Morgan.
Wednesday
As the carnival was underway, Claudia boarded a ride with Kristina and Molly, Max chatted with Louise, Robin and Patrick watched Alexis and Andrea get into a sparring match, Sonny sneaked a kiss with Olivia, Nikolas watched Rebecca ride the merry-go-round with Spencer, Morgan reveled with his Yankees batting helmet and Jason saw Jake run away from Liz and Lucky to find a stuffed animal. Meanwhile, the digitalis that Andrea had slipped Edward kicked in and the Q patriarch suffered a heart attack behind the wheel.
At the docks, Johnny and Spinelli found themselves in a mob ambush, as an imprisoned Anthony watched the clock. As gunfire erupted, Johnny pushed Spinelli behind some crates, but took a bullet in the process. As sirens wailed in the background, the gunmen fled but not before Johnny heard them say, "Mr. Zacchara wanted no survivors." Spinelli helped Johnny get away from the scene but couldn't get through to 9-1-1. Spinelli finally got a call through and told Johnny that he'd wait with him for help to arrive. Johnny told Spinelli that his father killed his mother, then uttered, "I always said he'd be the death of me." Just then, Johnny collapsed.
As Edward's town car plowed into the carnival crowd, it struck several rides, tents and anyone who stood in its path. Just as the car was about to strike Morgan, Dominic pushed the boy out of the way, and got hit in the process. When the car came to a stop, Andrea was dead in front of the grill. Patrick and Robin leapt into action. Ethan pulled Edward from the vehicle. Patrick said his pulse was weak. A frantic Liz, Lucky, Jason and Sam finally found Jake underneath a toppled tent. Liz and Lucky rushed the crying boy into the hospital, leaving Jason feeling helpless. Louise called for help, as Max was unconscious and bleeding. Molly stood with Claudia and screamed for Kristina, who was buried in the ride wreckage. Jax and Carly and Sonny and Olivia raced to Morgan, who was bleeding but okay. Morgan said that Dominic pushed him out of the way. Olivia was frantic when she saw her son was hurt, but realized she couldn't react or she'd blow Dom's cover. Jax comforted her but Sonny asked why she was so upset about his bodyguard being hurt.
In the hospital, Milo rushed in to see his brother. Louise told Milo that Max saved her life — and that he may have spinal damage. When the doctors couldn't track down Monica, Tracy or Jason, Rebecca became Edward's next of kin and gave consent for Edward's surgery. Robin noted that Edward passed his heart tests the day before and shouldn't have suffered an attack. Rebecca sat with Edward prior to the operation and begged him to be okay, as Nikolas observed.
A doctor informed Liz and Lucky that Jake suffered a possible skull fracture. As Lucky went to sit with Jake, Liz found Jason and informed him about Jake's condition. As she cried, Jason pulled her into his arms.... Mac identified Andrea's body in the morgue.... Alexis was reunited with Molly but grew frantic when she learned that Kristina was still missing.
As darkness fell, rescue workers pulled out a body from the ride wreckage. Claudia was horrified, but was relieved that it wasn't Kristina. The worker said they'd keep searching.
In the E.R., Patrick told Dominic that he was in bad shape. Dom asked the doctor to tell everyone to go home. Sonny addressed the group and informed them that Dominic still needed more tests. Morgan slipped away and went to Dom's side, and thanked him for saving his life. Later, Patrick told Sonny and Olivia that Dominic was suffering from internal bleeding and they needed to contact his mother right away.
Thursday
Post-carnival drama, Jason watched Jake lie in his hospital bed and said, "Whoever did this to Jake won't get away with it." Jason and Sam were shocked when Lulu came and told them that Edward was the driver and he had suffered a heart attack. Sam could feel Jason's pain. Lucky arrived with the news that Jake would be okay but they were keeping him for the night for observation. Jason didn't know how to feel about Edward being the driver, and realized that Edward doesn't even know that he injured his own great grandson. Sam told Jason that she knew how much Edward loved Jason and said he needed to be there for his grandfather. Jason replied that he feels terrible about keeping his connection to Jake a secret from Edward. Sam told Jason that it's important that he's there for both his son and grandfather. Jason thanked her.
Rebecca begged Edward to survive his surgery and wept as he was wheeled into the O.R. Ethan stopped by and said he could stay or go. "Stay," she replied and held his hand. Rebecca thanked Ethan for pulling Edward out of the car. However, she couldn't understand how Edward had a heart attack after he'd gotten a clean bill of health.
Patrick told Sonny and Olivia that they had to find Dominic's mother because he was going to need a kidney transplant. Patrick then informed Dominic thathe may need a kidney transplant and had to locate a family member. "Leave it alone," Dom groaned.
Claudia cried out for Kristina, unaware she was buried under wreckage nearby. Michael approached and as Claudia explained what happened, Michael recalled hearing her voice while he was comatose.
Alexis found Sonny and told him Kristina was still missing. Sonny headed out to find her. Claudia gave them the update and said that Michael was still searching for Krissy. Just then, Kristina was rushed into the hospital on a gurney. The family was relieved to see she looked okay. Kristina told her family that she heard Michael calling for her. Claudia called him a hero. Sonny was proud of his son and then told Kristina that her daddy loved her. Alexis smiled at the exchange.
Milo sat by Max's bed. Louise entered and told Milo how his big brother saved her life. Max woke up and slowly remembered the accident.
Olivia sneaked in to see Dominic. She said she loved him and was proud of him. He asked his mother to leave because if anyone found out who he really is, he'd be a dead man. Olivia said she'd do whatever was necessary to save her son, which Patrick overheard. Patrick was stunned by the revelation. Dom begged Olivia to keep quiet until they found out if he definitely needed the operation. As Olivia went to the chapel and prayed, Lulu stopped in to see Dominic. She told him he was a hero and thanked him for saving Morgan. She then stated that the day Dominic walked out of the hospital on his own, she'd go out with him. "It's a date," he smiled.
Lucky and Elizabeth were relieved about Jake. Lucky thanked Liz for giving him a beautiful family, then went off to help Mac. Nikolas arrived. He and Liz spontaneously stated kissing, which Jason witnessed.
Mac questioned Rebecca about Edward, and warned her that if Edward was driving drunk, he's in serious trouble.... Robin went to the morgue to examine Andrea's personal items and found the vial of Digitalis in her purse.
Jason stopped in to see Edward. Rebecca told him he was doing fine after his surgery and that Monica and Tracy were on their way home. They discussed the possibility of drunk driving. Jason mentioned the Qs problem with alcohol in the past. As they talked, Edward opened his eyes. Rebecca told Jason she'd let Edward know he was there. When Rebecca returned to Edward, his eyes were open. "What have I done?" he asked. Ethan arrived, followed by Mac. Mac informed Edward what happened and questioned him. Just as Rebecca and Ethan feared the worst, Robin entered and told Mac that Edward was 't drunk — someone tried to kill him.
After Kristina was examined, she told Michael that someone else found her first — It was a woman, who then walked away. Kristina reunited with her family and Sonny promised the girls a father-daughter night that would be fun. On her way out of the hospital to go home, Kristina noticed Claudia's shoes.
Sonny found Olivia in the chapel. Olivia told him that she asked God for a sign, and now knew what to do.
Friday
Robin told Edward, Mac, Ethan and Rebecca that Andrea had caused Edward's heart attack. Edward continued to blame himself for the horror at the carnival. Robin told Lucky that Digitalis had been found in his system — and that there was an empty vial of the stuff in Andrea's purse. Edward confirmed to Mac that he had seen Andrea at the hotel on the night the mayor's mistress died. Edward was filled with guilt, noting that he shouldn't have been driving.
Dominic told Patrick that he doesn't want anyone to contact his mother. Patrick told him that contacting a family member could be the difference between life and death.
In the chapel, Olivia almost told Sonny about his son, but stopped short. Once alone, she prayed for guidance. Patrick entered and revealed that he knows that she is Dominic's mother and that Sonny is his father. "Nobody can know!" she gasped. Patrick doubted that Sonny would give his kidney to someone that he didn't know was his flesh and blood. He divulged that he had known the truth for nearly a year. Olivia said she would tell Sonny and Dominic the truth if he needed a transplant.
Patrick and Robin discussed how she had handled her attempts to prove that Andrea was guilty. He didn't want her to blame herself but also didn't want her getting involved in more mystery-solving.
Sonny went to see Dominic/Dante to thank him for saving his son. The men fell into an easy discussion about fathers and sons. Olivia returned in time to see them laughing and joking together. Olivia tried to stop Sonny from telling Dominic/Dante about their own past. Patrick returned with Dominic's test results.
Liz told Nikolas broke from their kiss. She told him that they have to stop doing this to Lucky. He said he would try to be a better friend to her by keeping his distance. She went to visit Jake, then Rebecca approached her about going to tell Edward that Jake is going to be okay. Liz said that she would, soon.... Lucky told Nikolas that he had decided it was time to restart his future with Elizabeth. He went into Jake's room, where she and Jake were playing. Liz excused herself and went into the hallway with Lucky, who asked her to marry him.... Rebecca encountered Nikolas and asked her to come home with him. Ethan told Rebecca that she would regret it if she went with him.
Jason went to see Sam. He revealed that he had caught Liz and Nikolas kissing. Sam sighed that this would devastate Lucky and noted that it couldn't be easy for Jason, either, but he said he was only worried about how it would affect his son. He thanked her for being the reason he was at the carnival to begin with. They agreed that neither of them had wanted to ruin the good thing they had going by talking about it.
Kristina met up with Kiefer. He gave her a phone to use exclusively to call him. When she balked at the present, he lashed out at her. When he apologized, she forgave him.
Michael returned home; Jax was waiting up for him. Michael flashed back to Jax talking to him while he was comatose. Jax asked him if he was okay. He claimed that he was just tired. Jax went to bed and Michael remembered more about Jax saying that he had helped his brother put Michael in the coma. Michael then called Sam and told her that she couldn't tell Jason what he was about to tell her.
