General Hospital Recaps

GH week of September 17, 2007 Recaps

Monday

Robin asked Jason if he wonders what would have happened if they had stayed
together. Meanwhile, Lucky assured Sam that he wanted to be right where he
was: in a hot tub with her. At that moment, Elizabeth was telling Nikolas
that she didn't expect Lucky home soon. Sam, meanwhile, was all over Lucky
before she dropped her top, and they kissed. Robin assured Jason she wasn't
throwing herself at him, but noted they are both alone. He called them
unattached. Robin admitted she loves Patrick and working with him is tough.
In the afterglow, Sam felt guilty, but Lucky admitted he knew what they were doing and had no regrets. Liz told Nik she's not angry or jealous, she's just sad over the loss of trust. It's time to move on. Emily arrived at Liz's to retrieve Nik, but he rushed off to retrieve his brother. Liz told Emily that Lucky is with Sam. When chuckling Robin returned to GH with Jason, Patrick was jealous. Liz told Em "the love is gone," and not coming back. Lucky vowed to see Sam again because she's very important to him.

Jerry told Sonny he saw residue in Kate's iced tea glass — meaning she could have been drugged. Meanwhile, Jax discovered Kate in her wrecked car
and summoned help. Jerry told Sonny he's working Trevor to get to Zacchara.
Sonny got a call from Jax telling him about Kate's accident. Later, from her
hospital bed, Kate thanked Jax for the save. Robin said tests showed Kate
had high blood-alcohol levels. When Sonny arrived at GH, Jason said Kate
will be okay. Sonny demanded to know why Jason is taking orders from "a piece of garbage like Jax." Jason insisted killing Trevor is a mistake. Sonny insisted Trevor was working with Jax and ordered Jason to prove it. As Patrick watched, Robin thanked Jason for being there for her. Kate swore to Jax that she didn't touch alcohol, and told Sonny Jax is keeping her test results quiet. When Sonny thanked him, Jax proposed working together. Then he ran into Jerry, who professed his innocence.

Georgie asked Spinelli for help navigating the Web site about Europe. When Spinelli steered the conversation toward Lulu, Georgie disappeared. At
Logan's place, Alice was delivering Lulu's belongings. Lulu feared she was
moving too fast, but then their make-out session was interrupted by Georgie, who demanded to know if Lulu moving in was fair to Maxie. Lulu demanded to know why Georgie was there. Georgie said she was checking up on her for Spinelli. After she left, Logan said Spinelli "the doofus" is in love with Lulu. Lulu wanted their first night living together to be memorable. She vowed to "ride this thing wherever it goes." There was a knock at the door.

Later, Jason tracked down Spinelli, only to be dragged away by Emily. Georgie returned to Spinelli and confessed that Lulu moved in with Logan. Spinelli was incensed, and Georgie let it slip that Maxie is involved. Emily told her brother that Lucky and Liz are over, so he should go to Liz and "get it over with." She believes Jake is his son, so he should stop torturing himself. He admitted he wants to be with Liz, but he can't. Kate told Sonny she didn't drink alcohol, and that Jerry refilled her iced tea. At that moment, a gloved hand snatched up Kate's incriminating glass. Sonny vowed he wouldn't let "anything" happen to her. (Well, anything else, obviously.) Trevor barged in to tell Kate she's "in a lot of trouble — and I'm the only one who can get her out of it."

Tuesday

Sam told Nikolas he's too late to prevent her from sleeping with Lucky. Just then, Lucky arrived home and prodded Elizabeth to ask where he's been. When she resisted he blurted, "I was with Sam." Liz declined to be a hypocrite, so she wouldn't bar him from seeing Sam. Meanwhile, Emily urged Jason to claim Liz and his son. Jason confessed, "I want what I can't have." Nik said having an affair won't help Lucky patch up his marriage, but Sam said the bigger problem is Liz loving Jason. Emily suggested Liz is sticking with Lucky for the sake of the kids. Jason asked her to be there for Liz. Liz told Lucky she hasn't seen Jason because it's too dangerous. Lucky wondered if their marriage factored in. Later, back at Wildwind, Nik and Emily compared notes. Still later, Nik got angry over a phone call about an injured horse and
broke a vase. Elizabeth told Lucky, "It kills me to see how far we drifted
apart," and said she was willing to try to get it back.

Kate recalled Jerry refilling her glass and suspected him of drugging her.
Trevor entered and claimed to be the only one who can help Kate, because the
cops have the results of her blood tests. Sonny bristled, and Trevor
insisted Kate toss Sonny out or he wouldn't help her. Sonny accused Trevor
of drugging Kate; he refused to respond. Kate admitted Trevor threatened to
end her career unless she breaks up with Sonny. Trevor boasted he could ruin her with one phone call. Sonny vowed to protect her, and she vowed to fight. Outside her hospital room, Trevor got a call. "Johnny Zacchara is coming here?" he shouted. He warned the caller to find a way to control Johnny. Sonny promised Kate he'd "take care of Trevor," and pointed out that Max couldn't find the glass, so there's no proof Trevor drugged her.

Georgie told Spinelli that Lulu will soon get tired of competing with Maxie
and walk away from Logan. Meanwhile, Logan and Lulu tried to hold a
conversation with their mouths full of food. He said he doesn't deserve her.
A knock interrupted their kiss — it was Maxie. Lulu revealed she moved in, so Maxie mentioned her bet with Logan — that he could bed Lulu, so she has to pay him back by sleeping with him — again. Elsewhere, Spinelli was distraught over Lulu's living arrangements. Georgie said no girl could live up to the pedestal Spinelli put Lulu on. Later, Jason returned to the
penthouse to find Spinelli drinking and wondering how Jason deals with pain.
The hit man said he simply accepts that he's doing what's best for Liz and
the kids. Meanwhile, Lulu was skeptical until Maxie proved she was hiding
in the closet while Lulu and Logan made love. Lulu flipped and fled. Spinelli wanted to fight Logan, but Jason told him to be prepared to just be
friends. There was a knock at the door. It was Logan, looking for Lulu. A
furious Spinelli sucker-punched him.

While covering her hot tub, Sam flashed back to Lucky saying he had no
regrets. Maxie arrived at her door, saying, "I did something really stupid.
Sam replied, "Join the club." Maxie recounted events, and how she feels
worse now. Sam said revenge leaves you "more miserable than you were in the
first place." Then she confessed to seducing Lucky. At the Spencer home,
Lucky told Liz he's not ready to give up. "My family means everything to
me," he said. She was willing to try to reconcile but wondered if they could
learn to trust again. He trusts she's a good mother and the children need
her. Back at the penthouse, Logan confessed to sleeping with Maxie (which
infuriated Spinelli). Jason warned him to stay away from Lulu. At that
moment, Lulu hitched a ride with a stranger — a stranger named "Johnny."

Wednesday

Jason showed up at Lucky and Liz's house to ask Lucky if he had heard anything from Lulu, who was still missing after having found out about Logan and Maxie's little tryst. Lucky, however, accused Jason of merely using this as a guise to stop in on Elizabeth. Fortunately, the two were able to put their ongoing animosity aside to focus on the matter at hand. After they went off to search of Lulu, Emily showed up at Liz's and the two discussed how Lucky and Liz were no longer "the kids under the docks" anymore. Emily gently suggested that Liz might want to consider ending the marriage, since it clearly was no longer working.

Jax and Alexis caught up with one another before Alexis had to meet with a
client. The two friends discussed how Sonny's business influenced and
affected the people in his life and allowed themselves to cater to fantasies
of moving away to escape it all. Jax encouraged Alexis to really consider
moving away from Port Charles, but she couldn't, she explained, because
everything she loved — including best friend Jax — were there and she wanted her daughters to know their fathers.

The Quartermaines and Spencers discussed framing Lulu for jaywalking in
order to get her away from Logan and to move back home. Scott argued the idea was stupid, much to both families' visible dismay and annoyance. Emily and Nikolas arrived at the mansion with news of Lulu's disappearance. Scott went to have a little chat with Logan and was surprised to find him so solemn and remorseful over having hurt Lulu.

Spinelli brought Milo up to speed with the Maxie/Logan/Lulu situation, and
Milo ran out of Sonny's, furious, but not before he took care to trash the
place completely. The two paid Logan a visit, Milo deciding it better to say
hello with a swift punch to the kidneys instead of a handshake. A bruised
and battered Logan professed he had no idea where Lulu went off to and that
he was sorry he had betrayed her. Back at Sonny's, Spinelli and Jason tried
to use footage from security cameras near Logan's place to find where Lulu
might have gone. They saw footage of her crying outside of Logan's and
hitching a ride.

Maxie visited Logan to berate Lulu and attempt to seduce him yet again, but
he reacted with disgust and expressed amazement that Maxie could possibly
not expect to pay for all the pain she had put Lulu through. Maxie left Logan's to visit Georgie, who was horrified to learn about the bet. She told her sister that the only person who consistently got hurt because of Maxie's scheming was Maxie herself. Logan stopped by for a cup of coffee, sporting his new bruises. He tried to grill Georgie to find where Lulu might have gone, but she insisted she and Lulu weren't really that close and that she had no idea where she could have gone.

Thursday

At Kelly's, Maxie defended her bet with Logan and blamed him for making Lulu
run off. At Sonny's cafe, Diane told Sonny it would be impossible to prove
Kate was drugged. A babbling Spinelli burst in and Jason translated: "Lulu's
in trouble." She got into Johnny Zacchara's car. "Do what you gotta do to
get Lulu home safe," Sonny ordered. Meanwhile, in the middle of nowhere, a
cop ticketed Johnny's car. Later, Jason grabbed Trevor at gunpoint. Trevor
explained that Johnny witnessed his mother's murder as a child. "Kid is
crazy," he noted, but Anthony Zacchara loves him. At Kelly's, Nikolas quizzed
Logan — then started throttling him. Georgie called him off and Nik fled. Jason went to PCPD and gave Lucky the license plate of the car Lulu got
into. Lucky was skeptical because he blames Logan. Still later, Sam
suggested Lulu may be in love with Logan, and she has a way to help. Logan
confronted Spinelli at the cafe and it got physical, but Jason threw
him out bodily. "You'll have to kill me to keep me away from her," Logan
vowed. Then Spinelli found a record of the traffic ticket to Johnny's car.

In her hospital room, Ric gloated to Kate that she's facing drunken driving
and reckless endangerment charges. He noted she's stuck between his father
and his brother — just like his mother was. Meanwhile, at the EVERYDAY HEROES studio, Trevor asked Amelia to help spin the Kate story. Sam suggested a show on drunken driving and celebrity justice that makes an example of Kate. Maxie arrived and bemoaned that Lulu's disappearance took the joy out of her revenge. Kate admitted to Ric she was reckless for hitting the cop car, but she was drugged — probably by Trevor. Sonny showed up and told Ric he has "the chance of a lifetime" to stop his father from destroying another innocent woman. At the nurses' station, Diane asked Emily, Liz and Epiphany to run interference with the press. Sonny told Ric they can't change their mother's fate, but they can save Kate. Ric demanded Sonny treat him "like a human being" and left. Later, Ric found Trevor in his office. Ric accused him of drugging Kate's drink. Trevor said Ric, "of all my sons," should know what happens when someone disappoints him. Mac and Coop arrived at GH to arrest Kate. Emily, Liz, Epiphany and others set up a blockade of medicos and equipment to separate Kate from the sleazy tabloid press. Ric marveled that Trevor would ruin his ex-mistress. Trevor called this an opportunity to rebuild his credibility, but Ric was skeptical. Changing arguments, Trevor said if Kate walks, Sonny wins. In the PCPD interrogation room, Diane repeated that there's no proof Kate was drugged. She advised that the best hope is to cop a plea. Georgie went to the nurses' station, where she let slip that Nik flipped out on Logan. Elsewhere, Jason and Spinelli found Johnny's car, complete with Lulu's broken necklace.

Outside Kelly's, Logan threatened and manhandled Maxie, but Coop pulled him
off her. Sonny told Ric to accept Kate's plea bargain and let her do community service. Ric said Trevor used Kate to get at Sonny, and it worked. Meanwhile, Trevor told Kate at PCPD that turning on him was a mistake and she deserves the consequences. At the studio, Sam told Amelia the show needs to be tougher on Kate. When Lucky arrived Sam suggested
adding an appeal for Lulu to the Kate show, but Amelia balked. Out in the
wilderness, Jason found the car had a broken fuel line. Then they heard a
scream. Lulu ran into a barn and hid in a hay lot. Johnny followed her, but
Jason suddenly appeared a with gun. Spinelli bumbled in and distracted Stone
Cold, giving Johnny a chance to draw on Jason for a Mexican stand-off. Lulu
tried to break it up.

Friday

A sunburnt Jax and Carly reunited on Sonny's island, but Carly wanted a PC
update before having a horizontal reunion. Jax reluctantly told her about
Kate's car crash. Carly concluded Trevor was nearly as twisted as Ric (which
is saying a lot). Carly noted Sonny's mommy issues could lead to danger. She
wanted to call Sonny but Jax plied her with kisses. Michael and Morgan then
ran in, wondering when they were all going home. Jax promised they'd go home
soon. "You make everything better," Carly sighed of the stepdad
extraordinaire. Unbeknownst to them, someone was lurking in the bushes.
Later, Carly and Jax traded "I love you"s and began making out on the couch,
as a gun-toting mystery man walked into the room.

Coop blasted Logan for manhandling Maxie, reminding him they are no longer
in Iraq. Mike broke up the fracas, so they adopted "inside voices" as Logan
explained to Coop about the bet. At GH, Elizabeth admitted she's worried
about Lulu and Em confided Nikolas has some rage issues. When the angry
young man in question showed up, he excused his attack on Logan. Coop wasn't
havin' any of Logan's excuses for roughing up Maxie and once again implied
Logan had done this before. Back at GH, Em and Liz asked Georgie for the 411
on the Nik/Logan kerfuffle. Shocked by Georgie's description, Emily claimed
to be too be busy to hang out with Nik. Nikolas apologized to Georgie (but
not that sincerely). Back at Kelly's, Logan refused to apologize for wanting
Lulu in his life. Alone with Maxie, Coop warned her that Logan is really
dangerous and she regretted messing up their relationship. Angry Nik showed
up at Wyndemere in time to hear Alexis working on Jerry's case and he went
off on her. As a boggled Alexis made to leave, he threw a glass at her in a very Sonny-like fashion. Gasp. Back at GH, Liz checked her messages, found a delayed one from Lulu, and headed to pick her up.

Ric walked in on Kate, Trevor and Sonny in the PCPD interrogation room while
at the barn, Johnny Z. cockily urged Jason, "Go ahead, kill me!" Lulu tried to prevent that, covering for her captor as Johnny's "handlers" called out. Kate tried to convince Ric to drop her case, but Ric refused. Trevor and Sonny traded insults and Sonny reminded Ric of Trevor's twisted request that Adella choose between her boys. Decisions, decisions. Whose side would Ric choose? Once Johnny got "handled" away sans any
gunplay, Lulu was escorted to the penthouse by The Jackal and Stone Cold.
She was horrified to learn half the town knows Logan and Maxie made an idiot
of her. Meanwhile, Ric ended up on Team Sonny, telling Trevor, "I threw away
years of my life on your delusion." He wondered if Trevor was distracting
them all for Zacchara before turning on Sonny and quietly blasting him, too:
"I'm going to pay you back for all the hell," he promised. Jason chided Lulu
for getting into a car with a stranger and Logan showed up, relieved to see Lulu was okay. Logan swore to a teary Lulu he wasn't giving up on her before being shooed away. Lulu told Jason all about her Johnny Z. adventure. She claimed her scream of terror was because of mere horseplay. Jason left to investigate the barn and Spinelli warned Lulu she's in danger. Sonny feigned empathy (or maybe sincerely felt it) for Ric's suffering in an effort to help Kate's case. It didn't work. Ric slammed out. Alone with Sonny, Kate said her situation didn't seem dire compared to "what you and your brother have been through."

Lulu apologized to Spinelli for yelling and thanked him for being there for
her. "I'm so ashamed of myself," she sighed. He assured her, "The shame is on
The Simian One and The Bad Blonde One." Sonny promised Kate she'd get her
career back and then got an ominous text message: "Your kids' nanny was just
a start." Hothead Johnny gave his handlers a heart attack by jumping off a
bridge. At the barn, Elizabeth didn't find Lulu...just Jason. They traded
the Zacchara update and awkward small talk, before Liz admitted Lucky slept
with Sam. Jason did her one better, admitting Sam knows Jake is his child.
