GH Week of October 18, 2010
Monday
In Rome, Siobhan was upset when she caught Lucky sneaking out after they'd
slept together but he assured her he'd be back soon and had no regrets about
their tryst. Siobhan didn't either, and insisted on accompanying Lucky.
Outside of Brenda's former hotel, the duo posed as tourists seeking
information of Brenda, unaware they'd caught the eyes of The Balkan's thugs.
A hotel maid told Lucky that Brenda went back to the States. She asked Lucky
to meet her later for a drink but he declined. Siobhan told Lucky to have a
safe trip home. As Lucky pulled Siobhan into a kiss, the thugs approached
and grabbed Siobhan.
At Metro Court, Carly vented to Lulu about her frustration with Brenda's
return and the effect Ms. Barrett has on all the men in their lives. Lulu
mentioned Maxie's frustration regarding Spinelli. Just then Luke entered.
Lulu was happy to see her dad but he admitted he was there to see his niece.
"How much is this gonna cost me?" Carly wondered aloud. Luke told Carly he
needed a place to stay. She agreed, but warned Luke she'd be calling in a
favor at some point. Luke asked Lulu about her trip to Ireland and they
admitted they were worried about the danger Lucky has gotten involved in.
Later, as Luke sipped a cocktail, Ethan entered and informed his father that
he was beaten up by thugs asking about Luke. Luke informed Ethan about
Lucky's exploits overseas.
At the penthouse, Brenda and Dante were shocked to see the other in Port
Charles and admitted that they've both kept quiet about their last meeting
years prior. Just then, Sonny knocked on the door. Dante made up an excuse
for why they were together (to talk about Sonny's car bombing case) and
stormed out. Sonny tried to get Brenda to consider giving them another shot.
He moved in for a kiss but she asked him to stay away from her, just as
Jason walked in. A dejected Sonny left and Brenda told Jason to leave her
alone.
In the G.H. locker room, a scantily clad Lisa approached Patrick. He told
Lisa he'd never touch her ever again. Lisa reiterated her claims of
innocence where Robin was concerned. Lisa advised Patrick to get therapy and
left. Robin entered and saw Patrick was upset. She reminded Patrick that
Lisa cost him enough already — he shouldn't let her take his career away,
too. Robin and Patrick admitted they were at wit's end with Lisa. Later,
Lisa bumped into Robin in the locker room and Robin told Lisa to leave town.
Their discussion ended when Robin slapped Lisa. "And I'm the one who's out
of control?" she asked. Robin regretted losing her cool, while Steven
quizzed Epiphany about Lisa's behavior. Just then, Lisa told Steven they
needed to talk.
Mayor Floyd met with Ronnie and told him that he believes Dante is a dirty
cop — and he wants Dante off the force. Floyd stressed that he doesn't care
how Ronnie gets the job done.... A frustrated Dante unloaded on Michael at
the loft. Lulu interrupted and Michael took off. Dante regretted losing his
cool. Lulu calmed Dante but he kept thinking about his last meeting with
Brenda.
Jason suspected that Brenda knows who The Balkan is and confronted her. She
clammed up and he stormed out. Jason ran into Luke and asked for protection
from someone putting the squeeze on him. Jason agreed, but was shocked to
hear Luke say that the man after him was The Balkan.... Sonny returned to
find Brenda on the terrace. They shared a hug.
Tuesday
In Rome, Lucky, as "Ronan," held a gun on the Balkan's thugs, who were holding Siobhan at gunpoint. "Ronan" said he'd shoot Siobhan himself if he had to. While the men were talking, Siobhan managed to escape. Lucky ordered the thugs to stay out of his way, "Or I'll shoot you myself." Lucky met up with Siobhan and said he needed to make her disappear in order to prove his loyalty to The Balkan. Siobhan balked at Lucky's plan to take her back to Port Charles but he reminded her that if she went back to Ireland, she'd wind up dead.
Jason told Luke that The Balkan has ties to Brenda. "You've got your work cut out for you, my friend," Luke sighed. Jason filled Luke in about Brenda being stalked, and Luke informed Jason of Lucky's ruse as Balkan hit man Ronan O'Reilly.
At the loft, Dante thought of hugging Brenda years prior, while Lulu jokingly asked if he had some dark secret she didn't know about. Dante again expressed that he was upset for exploding on Michael earlier. Just then, Ronnie arrived and told Dante they needed to talk. Lulu gave them time alone, and Ronnie told Dante, "You are in a world of trouble." Ronnie told him that the mayor wanted Dante's badge. After Ronnie left, Dante flashed back to guarding Brenda.
At G.H., a concerned Steven offered Robin an extended leave but Robin said she was eager to be back at work. Robin noted that Lisa didn't turn her in for slapping her earlier. Lisa came by to make nice but Robin snapped. Patrick warned Robin to keep her cool and not allow Lisa to provoke her. Robin then got angry at Patrick. Later, Lisa thanked Steven for allowing her to come back to work. Patrick tried to convince Steven that Lisa was still dangerous but Steven pointed out there's no evidence to support his claims.
On the terrace, Sonny offered Brenda comfort but gave her the space she'd asked for. On his way out, Sonny ordered Max and Milo to, "Be kind to her, and treat her with respect." Brenda called Robin and asked her to come by. Robin arrived at the penthouse and could tell that Brenda was upset. Brenda lamented that she loved Sonny but couldn't be with him. She asked Robin to talk to Sonny and ask him to stay away from her. After Robin left, Sam came home and was upset that Brenda was there, as she had made plans with Jason. It was an awkward moment.
Spinelli ran into Michael at Kelly's. Michael lamented that Claire caught him breaking his parole by being in Sonny's office. Spinelli was furious that Claire would take her anger at Sonny out on his son and wanted to cause some cyber havoc with Ms. Walsh. Michael asked him not to.
Jason met with Sonny; he asked Jason to go easy on Brenda. Jason went back to the penthouse and apologized to Brenda for their fight earlier. Sam remained silent. Meanwhile, Robin went to Sonny's and relayed Brenda's wishes. Sonny agreed not to pursue her.... Lulu bumped into Luke at Metro Court and they compared notes about Lucky. Lulu returned home to Dante, who continued to think about Brenda.... At Metro Court, Lisa arrived to check in
and asked to placed near Patrick's room.
Wednesday
At G.H., Robin was short with Lisa when she tried to assist with a patient. Steven observed and told Robin that she could have handled the situation better. After, Epiphany added her two cents and warned Robin not to get riled up, as it makes her look like the crazy one. Steven called Elizabeth and asked her to come to the hospital so they could talk. When Liz arrived, Steven informed her that the Biotech company they invested in would not be paying off anytime soon. Liz was crushed.
Carly went to Claire and told her that Brenda blew off Sonny and she could
now make her move. Claire apologized for taking her anger out on Michael but
claimed she wasn't interested anymore in Sonny.
At the loft, Michael woke up when Dante had a nightmare. "I hate those,"
Michael sighed. The guys had coffee and discussed Brenda.
Maxie was startled to arrive at work and find Lulu there early. Maxie had
computer problems so Lulu called Spinelli. The girls tried to talk to
Spinelli about Brenda. Kate entered and flipped out when she discovered from
Spinelli that Brenda Barrett was in Port Charles and Maxie did not procure
her for the cover of Crimson. Spinelli stood up for Maxie and said that
Brenda's privacy at the moment was of the utmost concern. Maxie thanked
Spinelli.
At The Haunted Star, Tracy was still upset about Luke's deception regarding
their marriage. Luke wanted to kiss and make up. Tracy wondered if he was
just back for more money, then told Luke that if he loved her, he'd have to
prove it. She insisted Luke pay back the 10 million he stole from her — plus
interest. Luke called upon Ethan for help with Tracy. Luke told Ethan that
he'd still love Tracy even if she was penniless. Ethan countered by saying
he has his own "lady" problems to deal with. Ethan then suggested that they
ask Maya to help Luke fake a heart attack to get back into Tracy's good
graces, noting everyone benefits when Tracy is happy. Maya arrived and the
guys told her their plan, which included a deathbed wedding for Luke and
Tracy. Just then, Tracy entered. "Isn't this an interesting threesome?" she
huffed.
At Wyndemere, Nikolas caught Brook Lynn dancing alone to music and chuckled.
Nik asked Brook to attend another engagement with him in New York that
evening. Later, Brook was ready to go when Liz stopped by to talk to Nik.
Nikolas told Liz he'd call her tomorrow and rushed off to get ready. When
the girls were alone, Brook accused Liz of playing Nikolas. Liz countered by
calling Brook a gold-digger. Brook then wondered why Liz seemed to want Nik
back all of a sudden.
Carly went to Metro Court and overheard Jax talking with Olivia about
renovations. Carly asked Jax to talk to Claire and see what she was up to.
After Jax called Claire, Carly was upset to learn Jax saw Brenda the
previous evening. Jax said they simply talked, but Carly was still upset.
Jax assured Carly that she was the woman he loved. Just then, Olivia arrived
with the estimates for Brenda's new apartment at Metro Court.
Claire went to the PCPD to talk to Dante. Claire said she had a discreet
favor to ask. She wanted a full background check on Brenda. Dante was
hesitant but Claire pointed out that Dante owed her a favor. Dante disclosed
to Claire that he protected her for a few days back in 2007. Dante claimed
that Brenda wouldn't even remember him because their interaction was so
minimal. Later, Dante investigated something involving a casualty. Ronnie
noticed and asked Dante if he was working on a cold case.
At. G.H., Steven told Patrick about the investment deal going south. Patrick
said he didn't invest more than he could afford to lose but Steven was
concerned for Liz. Then, Steven expressed concern for Robin. Meanwhile,
Robin spoke with one of her patients, who mentioned a new medication she was
on. Robin checked the chart and excused herself. At the hub, Steven filled
in Lisa about the failed investment venture but she took the news just fine.
Then, Robin approached and barked at Lisa to leave her patients alone.
Thursday
Sonny met with Suzanne and asked why Brenda did such a turnaround regarding him. Suzanne advised Sonny to leave Brenda alone. Sonny realized Suzanne didn't like him but he refused to watch Brenda fall apart. "Leave her alone!" Suzanne huffed.
Carly was not pleased to learn that Jax was creating an apartment for Brenda at Metro Court. Olivia told Carly to focus on her own life and not throw away what she had. Carly pretended to be cool about things, but wasn't. She pointed out to Jax that having Brenda at the hotel could endanger their guests. An irate Jax said he'd cancel the plans.
At the penthouse, Brenda told Jason she should leave Port Charles. Jason said he'd take her anywhere — if she told him the truth about her connection to The Balkan. Brenda regretted all the trouble she has caused Jason. Jason relayed that Sonny agreed to leave her alone. Brenda still refused to spill and Jason replied that when she does decide, "I hope it's not too late."
At G.H., Robin accused Lisa of switching a patient's meds. Steven pointed out the change was made by another doctor and a memo and e-mail had been sent out about the change. Robin left work and met Maxie at the docks to talk. Patrick overhead Robin discussing Lisa. Robin said she still cared for Patrick but she can't trust him. Patrick spoke up that he would never cheat again. Maxie excused herself and Robin told Patrick they never should have married. Patrick said he wasn't ready to divorce. Robin replied she
regretted trying to change Patrick. "I learned my lesson," she sighed.
At the PCPD, Ronnie wanted to know why Dante was working on a cold case. Dante skirted the issue, then gave Claire his findings on Brenda: she married Jason, was up on murder charges twice and was presumed dead. Claire was impressed at how much adversity Brenda had overcome. "No wonder why every man she smiles at falls in love with her," Claire sighed.
At The Haunted Star, Tracy found Luke, Ethan and Maya conspiring. Tracy claimed she didn't want Luke back but Maya shocked the men by revealing she heard Tracy crying last night. Tracy barked that she was weeping for the 10 million Luke stole from her. The pair fought, and Luke clutched his chest and keeled over. Maya examined him and ordered him to the hospital. Tracy accused Luke of faking the attack and walked out. After Tracy left, Luke berated Ethan for his plan but now he was stuck going through with it. Maya was reluctant to assist but after recalling the nightmare Tracy's been to live with, agreed. Ethan told Maya he cooked up the scheme to spend time with her, then pulled her into a kiss.
Jason stopped by to see Sonny, and Conan delivered Sonny an invitation from Claire. At the PCPD, Claire was furious about how juvenile she was acting where Sonny was concerned. She vowed to forgive Sonny and move on. Just then, an officer delivered an invitation to dinner from Sonny. Claire left and Dante flashed back to his time with Brenda.
Suzanne went to see Brenda, who was in a mood. Suzanne realized Brenda was upset but asked that she not to take her frustration out on her. She advised Brenda to tell Jason what she knew about The Balkan but Brenda pointed out that Jason tells Sonny everything. Suzanne asked what it was that she didn't want Sonny to know and Brenda stormed out.
Back at G.H., Steven was pleased with Lisa's work since her return. She expressed her desire to start over and said she regretted sleeping with Patrick.... At Metro Court, Luke faked another attack in front of Tracy.... Claire met Sonny at a fancy restaurant. They toasted to, "Enjoying the night." ... Brenda met Dante at the docks.... Carly burst into the penthouse and planted a steamy kiss on Jason.
Friday
At Metro Court, Luke faked a heart attack while Tracy watched. Olivia and Jax rushed to his aid and called for an ambulance. Tracy refused to believe Luke was really in pain. After Luke was taken away, Ethan and Maya arrived. Jax advised them to take their act to G.H. At the hospital, Olivia still gave Luke the benefit of the doubt. "Bravo, Nurse Nightingale," Tracy sneered. Lulu and Ethan arrived and were very concerned. Maya offered her assistance to Matt. Once alone, Luke assured Maya that she wouldn't get in trouble for helping him. Epiphany pushed Tracy to pipe down, while an earnest Lulu told Tracy that her unwillingness to forgive Luke led to this. She went to see her dad and Luke pulled off his mask and smiled, "Good job, Gumdrop." Lulu was stunned, then smiled. Maya switched Luke's test results and Tracy was stunned to hear that Luke suffered a massive coronary. Tracy went to see Luke. "Sorry," she sighed. Maya felt guilty but Ethan assured her that it will all be worth it when Luke and Tracy wed for real.
At the restaurant, Sonny told Claire their night was just getting started. Sonny assured Claire that he and Brenda would not be getting back together, though he hedged that if Brenda gave him the green light down the line, he didn't know if he could say no. Claire was insulted she was being asked to be second choice. Sonny insisted that wasn't what he meant. He was just trying to be honest, he insisted. Then it came out that neither had asked the other to dinner. They quickly figured out Carly was the Cupid culprit. Sonny was glad and asked Claire if he could call her. "I'd like that," she smiled.
On the docks, Brenda met with Dante. She explained that Sonny doesn't know of their connection. Dante agreed it should stay in the past. Max broke up the meeting to take Brenda home.
At the penthouse, Jason pushed a kissing Carly off of him. Carly planned to use Jason to make Jax jealous. "You want to save your marriage talk to Jax, don't kiss me," he huffed. Carly admitted that Brenda is the one woman she doesn't know how to fight. Jason advised Carly not to give away her power. Carly then admitted that she was the one who got Sonny and Claire to dinner so they'd reconcile and Claire would leave Michael alone. Just then, Brenda entered to hear Carly accusing her of wanting Jax. Jason asked Carly to leave and told Brenda that she didn't want to mess with Carly. Later, Spinelli came home and Brenda apologized if she was taking advantage of him. He insisted she was not.
Lucky returned to the U.S. and headed to Wyndemere to talk to Nikolas. Nik informed his brother that Liz and the boys no longer lived on the island. Lucky asked Nik for help; Nik said he'd do anything for his brother. Lucky told Siobhan to come in and asked if she could hide out there for a while. Nikolas wanted some details about what was going on and Lucky spilled about his double life as Ronan and mentioned The Balkan. Siobhan didn't want to stay but agreed. After Lucky left, Nikolas told Siobhan to make herself at home.
Sonny went to Metro Court and thanked Carly for her interference. After Sonny left, Claire arrived and told Carly that her motivation wasn't Michael — it was to keep Sonny away from Brenda. Jax overheard the exchange.... Jason met with "Ronan" on the docks. Lucky informed Jason that The Balkan wants "Ronan" to kidnap Brenda. A Balkan thug spotted them together and took a photograph.... Just as Brenda and Dante separately recalled the same exchange from their past, Lulu arrived to see Brenda and Sonny ran into Dante.
