GH Week of November 15, 2010
Monday
With Johnny's help, Carly met with a former colleague of Dante's to get dirt on his relationship with Brenda. The ex-cop stated that even though he had no proof, he was convinced that Dante and Brenda slept together back in 2007. Carly was tickled at the prospect of Brenda sleeping with Sonny's son. "It's like Christmas, the Fourth of July and my birthday all rolled into one," she giggled.
At the penthouse, Dante and Brenda discussed their past, and Brenda stated, "I don't want to talk about the baby, okay?" Dante vowed to continue to protect her. Spinelli arrived and gave Dante a hard time. Dante left and Spinelli informed Brenda about Dante's involvement in sending Michael to prison. Jason came home and Brenda got Jason to open up about his feelings that he let down Michael.
In Las Vegas, Maya was a big winner at the tables, and had to remind Ethan that their accidental marriage was just temporary. Luke, meanwhile, was determined to still wed Tracy. Maya and Ethan got affectionate but Maya pointed out that if they had sex, they couldn't get their marriage annulled. Later, as Ethan and Maya were in bed, Luke, Tracy and the attorney arrived to give the happy couple their annulment. "I was just giving her a back rub," Ethan claimed.
At Jake's, Siobhan had no trouble putting Coleman in his place. Lulu was surprised to see Siobhan working there. Olivia entered and ordered a wine and whiskey. Dante arrived to meet Lulu and covered Olivia's tab. Olivia was still angry at Carly for pulling Johnny into her latest scheme, while Lulu told Dante that she was concerned about losing herself in their relationship.
Sonny summoned Suzanne to his office and accused her of risking Brenda's life for her charity work. Suzanne countered that she's not a risk to Brenda — Sonny's the risk. Sonny claimed he has nothing but love for Brenda but Suzanne said he stole her sanity. Suzanne then pleaded with Sonny to do the best thing for Brenda, which is to leave her alone.
Jax went to visit Brenda. "Does Carly know you're here?" she asked. Jax admitted that Brenda is a very sensitive subject as far as Carly is concerned. Jax said he was very happy being married to Carly and also warned Brenda that Carly was digging for dirt about Brenda's past.
Jason went to Jake's and quizzed Siobhan about when she was kidnapped. She recalled hearing a conversation and the name "Jack" was mentioned.... At Metro Court, Johnny assured Olivia that he has no romantic interest in Carly. Olivia pressed for details of what they did together that evening.... Carly arrived at the loft and told Dante they needed to have a chat about his past.
Tuesday
At Jake's, Jason quizzed Siobhan about being The Balkan's hostage, just as Lucky arrived and put a stop to it. Jason shared the information that Siobhan had heard the name "Jack" mentioned in a conversation. Lucky warned Siobhan to keep any strangers at arms' length.
Brenda told Jax that Carly's jealousy was irritating and ridiculous.... At Metro Court, an irate Olivia warned Johnny to let Carly detonate someone else's life. Steven arrived and Johnny said they were just leaving but Olivia decided to stick around. A peeved Johnny left alone. Olivia unloaded on Steven about her problems with Johnny and wondered if it was time she walked away from Johnny for good. The two spent the rest of the evening together laughing about stories from their pasts.
At the loft, Carly told Dante that she knows there's more to his
relationship with Brenda. Michael entered and unknowingly diffused the situation. Once alone, Dante asked Michael to keep quiet about everything he's mentioned about Brenda. Michael said no problem, but wondered if Dante had fallen in love with Brenda while he was protecting her. Dante stressed that the past was in the past. Michael left and Lulu came over. Dante reassured her their love was strong. They shared a bottle of wine and kissed.
In Las Vegas, a sheet-clad Ethan and Maya had to explain to Luke and Tracy — and the divorce attorney — how they wound up in bed together. The lawyer told the couple they could still get an annulment even if they consummated the marriage "multiple times." Tracy was furious to realize that she could have "annulled" her fake marriage to Luke years ago. Ethan suggested to Maya that they enjoy their honeymoon and then discuss an annulment. Tracy suggested they celebrate in the casino. Luke was frustrated that Ethan was married and he was still single. Ethan ordered champagne for he and Maya. Maya assured her hubby that by tomorrow, they would be single again.
Maxie and Matt helped Robin with advice on how to deal with Lisa's antics. Matt suggested that if she sought counseling, it would look good to the hospital board. Robin considered it.
Carly showed up at the penthouse and cracked to Brenda that Jason was the one who needed protection from her. Brenda countered that she'd stay away from Jax if Carly would promise to stay away from her forever. "Don't push me," Brenda insisted. Carly blurted that Brenda's secrets will be her downfall..... Jason and Sam enjoyed a quiet evening at Sam's place — until Brenda called Jason and said she needed to talk. Jason returned and Brenda warned him that Carly must be stopped at all costs.
At Jake's, Patrick and Lisa tried to reach a compromise where Robin was concerned — that is, until Lisa asked Patrick to sleep with her again. Patrick calmly stated that offer wasn't on the table. Patrick asked Lisa to consider leaving Robin alone for Emma's sake. Patrick returned to G.H. to see Robin.
At closing at Jake's, Siobhan chose a song on the jukebox (sung by Jonathan Jackson's [Lucky] band, Enation!) and they danced and shared a kiss.... Carly showed up at Metro Court and closed the restaurant in order to seduce Jax.
Wednesday
Jason asked Spinelli to look into Siobhan's mention of "Jack" by The
Balkan's men. Maxie interrupted and was not pleased that Spinelli was still
smitten with Brenda. Frustrated, Maxie pulled Spinelli into a kiss, then
left in a huff. "Wow, you just played Maxie," Jason marveled, adding,
"You've been spending too much time with Carly."
Lucky woke up with Siobhan at Kelly's. She was miffed he let her sleep in.
Lucky felt like Siobhan was giving him the brush off. Siobhan insisted she
had things to do. Lucky met Elizabeth and the boys in the park. Lucky spent
time with Aiden, too. After Liz took Aiden to a doctor's appointment,
Siobhan came across Lucky and his sons and they discussed football vs.
soccer. Liz bristled when she returned and saw Lucky with another woman.
Lucky chased Siobhan back to Jake's, where she questioned why he lived dual
lives — as a family man and as an "international assassin."
Michael met Carly at Metro Court for breakfast. Michael asked his mother to
give Dante a break. Carly vowed that she wasn't working on a scheme but he
wasn't buying it. Afterward, Jason counseled Michael to not worry about his
mother. Later, Michael ran into Abby on the docks and they exchanged cell
phone numbers. They sat down to talk and Michael got short-tempered when the
subject of prison came up.
Sonny met with Dante to discuss Brenda and wondered why it was so important
for his son to protect her. "What are you hiding from me?" Sonny asked.
Dante explained that he met Brenda in 2007 when he was assigned to protect
her, and didn't say anything because he wasn't sure she'd remembered him.
Diane entered and said they needed to speak about Michael. Diane informed
the men that Claire filed a petition to let Sonny see Michael. Sonny was
touched but Dante thought it was a bad idea. Diane told Sonny the decision
was his. Sonny signed the petition, and Diane warned Sonny that Claire still
wanted something from him.
The drunken quartet of Luke, Tracy, Maya and Ethan returned to the Q
mansion. Luke was still bitter, and Maya was worried about Edward's reaction
to their wedding. Edward and Lulu entered and the gang explained about the
wedding. Tracy stuck by her guns to get Luke to sign a pre-nup if he wanted
to marry her. When Maya and Ethan asked Edward about an attorney, he
recalled his fling with Mary Mae and told them that if they stayed married
for a year, he'd give them a million dollars.
Maxie ran into Carly at Metro Court and they shared their dislike for
Brenda. Despite Carly's denial, Maxie wondered if she had a plan in action
where "The Divine One" was concerned.... Claire met with Alexis, who
counseled her on how to deal with Sonny. After the women sparred in court,
Sonny showed up to thank Claire for the petition.
Suzanne stopped by the penthouse and chatted with Dante. They discussed
Brenda and Sonny, and the fact they still loved one another. It came up that
they both knew Brenda in 2007. Suzanne recalled that on their first trip to
Africa, an ill Brenda kept calling out the name, "Dante."
Thursday
At the penthouse, Suzanne was surprised to learn that Dante had met Brenda years before she returned to Port Charles. Dante told Suzanne the story, just as Brenda entered. Brenda admonished Suzanne for bringing up the past when she didn't want to talk about it. Brenda asked Suzanne to leave it alone.
At Metro Court, Jason warned Carly about her latest scheme but Carly insisted she was only seeing that the truth comes out. Jason got called away but he assured Carly that their discussion wasn't over. Jason went to see Brenda, where she begged him to get Dante re-assigned from guarding her again.
At Jake's, Siobhan thought there was more to Lucky and Elizabeth's relationship than just their children. Siobhan couldn't hide her jealousy but Lucky insisted that she was the one he cared for. When Lucky went to take a call, Liz showed up claiming that she wanted to get to know Siobhan. Liz stated she wasn't keen on her children spending time with a stranger. Just then, Lucky re-entered the room and asked Siobhan to speak to Liz. Elizabeth reminded Lucky he doesn't know that much about his new lady. Lucky asked Liz to stay out of his personal life. Liz told Lucky that she hopes he gets what he wants and left.
While Patrick visited Robin, Lisa barged in and said she's not dropping her plan to get Robin fired — but she insisted that it was for Robin's own good. Afterward, Nikolas and Steven stopped in. Robin vowed to fight Lisa's petition. After they left, Brenda visited Robin. They talked about Emma and cookies — and Sonny and Lisa.
Back at the Q mansion foyer, Tracy insisted that if Luke wanted a wedding, she was calling the shots. She demanded a wedding at the house, with a dress, with family and friends, at Christmas — and a prenup. "Deal!" Luke shot back.... In the drawing room, Edward reiterated his million dollar offer if they stayed married for a year. Lulu was stunned, Maya said no but Ethan was intrigued. He insisted the mil be tax free. "Done!" exclaimed Edward. Luke and Tracy entered and announced their wedding. Ethan countered with Edward's offer. Luke asked to get in on the offer, then stressed he was just kidding. After pointing out the financial benefits, Ethan convinced Maya to accept the offer. However, when Tracy pointed out that she wanted their wedding on "the winter solstice," which is December 21, Lulu pointed out that date is Laura's birthday.
Michael apologized for losing his temper with Abby. She was understanding. Abby urged Michael to take care of himself.... At the courthouse, Sonny thanked Claire for what she did, and promised that he wouldn't forget it. Claire said she knew they over over and advised him to follow his heart. Sonny went and shared the good news with Michael, who was thrilled.
Dante went to see Carly to inform her about the petition. Carly wasn't appreciative of Dante's opinion that Michael should stay away from Sonny. Olivia went to Sonny and advised him to, "Be smart." Sonny opened up to Liv about Brenda.... Jason summoned Carly over and she spilled her theory that Brenda and Dante slept together.
Friday
At G.H., Lisa went to Patrick and insisted that she was going to the
hospital board about Robin for Robin's own good. Steven and Nikolas warned Patrick that Lisa had a strong case, as there was no evidence to back Robin up. Elizabeth was incredulous. Unbeknownst to the gang, Lisa slipped a syringe into her pocket. As she went to fill it, Johnny approached Lisa from behind, asking for directions. Johnny also thanked Lisa for never mentioning his attempt at jury tampering during Sonny's trial. Lisa replied it was not a problem.
In her hospital room, Brenda and Robin flashed back to Brenda's past with Sonny. Across town, Sonny and Olivia chatted about his history with Brenda, with flashbacks as well. Sonny told Olivia about his old place above Luke's club, while Brenda admitted to Robin that she manipulated Sonny into letting her move in with him back in the day.
Suzanne went to Dante's loft to discuss Brenda's behavior earlier. "What's the connection between you and Brenda?" she asked. Dante countered that Suzanne shouldn't be snooping into her friend's past. They were unaware that Michael was eavesdropping. Dante tried to play off his connection to Brenda but Suzanne wasn't buying his story. Dante then opened the door for her to
leave.
Jason didn't believe Carly's news but she insisted that Dante and Brenda had an affair, and stated she had a witness. After she explained, Jason said all she had was hearsay.
Lucky joined Luke at Metro Court for an extravagant meal, and Luke asked his son to be his best man. Lucky happily agreed and asked when the wedding was. Luke ducked the answer until he couldn't anymore. "You're going to marry Tracy on Mom's birthday?" Lucky asked when Luke folded. Luke pointed it out
that Tracy chose the date as retribution for her allowing Luke to "remarry" Laura back in 2006, when she thought they were married. Lucky wasn't pleased but said he'd stand by his dad.
Back at G.H., after Brenda left, Lisa sneaked into Robin's room and tried to put something into her IV. Maxie entered, screamed and threw her purse at Lisa, who ran out of the room. Maxie told Robin to pull out her IV and chased after Lisa. In the hall, Lisa passed by Johnny, handed him the syringe and told him to hide it. Steven and Nikolas asked Lisa what was going on, as Patrick and Liz checked on Robin. Steven sealed off the floor and called the police. Maxie told her story after Ronnie arrived and he informed Lisa that if the cops find that syringe, she was in big trouble.
After Carly ordered Olivia to cut off Luke's tab, he overheard Carly giving Lulu romantic advice about Dante. Luke was suspicious. After Lulu left, Luke approached his niece and commented, "You're never more convincing than when you're lying, sweet Caroline." When she called Luke out on his expensive
tab, Luke questioned why Carly would push Lulu into the arms of a man Carly despised.
Suzanne was relentless and went to Brenda and quizzed her about Dante.... Jason asked Dante about Carly's claims of an affair.... Lulu asked Michael if Dante ever talked about her.... Max took Brenda to Sonny's old apartment. She asked him to allow her to go in alone. Max was reluctant, but agreed. Once inside, Brenda found Sonny there.
