On Memorial Day, ABC re-broadcast the GENERAL HOSPITAL episode from Thursday, February 1, 2007. You can see our recap of that day here.

Tuesday

Carly asked Spinelli to help her hide from Sonny. She asked him to find a town out of Sonny's reach and to get fake identities for her and Morgan. Meanwhile, Jason told Sonny that handing over his organization won't change the danger to his family. "I have a chance to be happy," Sonny said. Jason demanded to know how he could ignore Michael; he and Sonny have to live the lives they chose and deal with the consequences for Michael. Then Jason got a call from Spinelli. When he left, Sonny told Diane he won't let Carly take away his son. When Jason arrived at Carly's place she insisted he won't talk her out of protecting Morgan. Jason pointed out that would mean abandoning Michael. Jason fretted about the strain on Morgan, but she refused to compromise. He asked if she would stay if he convinced Sonny to give up Morgan. She admitted that would be best, so he vowed to work it out. Meanwhile, Diane invited Max to her house for dinner, but Milo asked her not to "mess with my brother's life." Milo was afraid that Max will get fired if he or she gets distracted and screws up. Spinelli went to the Crimson offices to vent with Maxie. Sonny arrived to talk to Kate, but when Spinelli wouldn't stop babbling about Michael Sonny pushed him, and the Jackal hit his head. Luckily, Kate broke it up. Sonny told her he was sorry, and insisted he's a good father. He wondered why his best friend and the mother of his children have no faith in him. Kate noted that people make mistakes when acting out of love. "I still love you," she said. "I love you," he whispered.

After making love, Lulu and Johnny discussed how to handle their families' hostilities. Johnny realized Anthony will set a trap to test them. Lulu said she learned to lie and manipulate from Luke. Trevor arrived and told Lulu he can help her disappear. Lulu threatened to tell Anthony that Trevor is going behind his back. After Trevor took Johnny to the house, Logan asked Lulu how long she's been sleeping with Johnny. Logan warned her that Anthony is a twisted killer — and so is Johnny. At the house, Anthony laughed at Johnny hooking up in the garden shed, and wondered if Lulu is a bad influence. Johnny suggested maybe he should stop seeing her. Anthony guessed that Trevor probably suggested Johnny stop seeing Lulu; but his love for her will always be his weakness. Anthony promised to hurt Lulu if Johnny ever turns on him.

Maxie brought the dizzy Spinelli to her place to spend the night: "I'll take care of you," she chirped. She checked him for a concussion, then started massaging his shoulders to relax him. She called him a hero for standing up to Sonny, and noted how he always rushes to the aid of others. Since she has medical training, she resolved to watch over him, noting, "I'm yours for the rest of the night." She said she's going to sleep with him — to monitor him for a concussion — but he misunderstood the "sleep with" part.

Robin suggested she and Patrick share blogs, but Patrick hesitated because he was embarrassed by his immature views. She said she was glad that he vented, and acknowledged that she sprang fatherhood on him. He admitted he didn't focus on positives, such as spending more time with her. They wondered what their child will be like. Robin marveled that Anna was trying to embrace grandmotherhood. Robin promised she would have "no expectations," and suggested they just "be in the moment." Later, while, sharing some ice cream, Robin felt the baby kick in response to his voice, and they shared that moment.

Wednesday

When Spinelli awakened, he realized he spent the night in bed with Maxie. She said, "it wasn't easy keeping you up," but, "after the sixth time," she fell asleep. He beamed with pride at the idea that they had made love six times. Then Mac burst in and chased Spinelli away. Maxie said she didn't have sex with Spinelli, and she's thinking about moving out, now that she has a job. Meanwhile, Lucky met Sam on the pier, where he insisted Luke was framed. But Sam was still out of a job, so she considered piloting one of the ferries. Lucky pointed out that Cam loves ships, so she offered to show the kid around. Later, Sam ran into Spinelli at the dock. He was upset because he couldn't actually remember making love to Maxie six times. Mac visited Robin at G.H. to ask if he's making mistakes raising Maxie, and asked Robin to talk to her. Sam visited Maxie at the Crimson offices to inquire if she had slept with Spinelli. Maxie explained about the concussion, and said she didn't sleep with Spinelli because, "I like him too much." Later, Robin visited Maxie to inquire if she had slept with Spinelli. Maxie explained about the concussion, and said sleeping with Spinelli would be "like sleeping with my brother." She sees what Georgie saw in him, but is not attracted to him. At the penthouse, Spinelli was writing down his thoughts about spending the night with Maxie when Sam arrived to tell Spinelli the truth: "You didn't actually have sex." He was crushed, so she tried to buck him up. She suggested that instead of seeking advice about women from men, he should ask another woman.

At Crimson Point, a furious Anthony quizzed Johnny about Claudia's whereabouts. Johnny said she's fine, but he doesn't know where she is. Anthony told Trevor he fears she's cutting side deals to undermine him. Trevor recommended sending Claudia back to Italy. Later, Anthony scolded Ric for not keeping a closer eye on Claudia. He demanded Ric turn Claudia against her brother.

Jax appeared at Carly's door. "Where have you been?" she demanded. Jax said he was upset that Carly ran out on him — he feels like an outsider in their marriage because of the Jason/Carly/Sonny bond. "Is that why you went to see Brenda?" she asked. "I didn't see her," Jax replied. He wanted to get some distance and perspective, and thought about talking to Brenda because she has ties to Sonny, Jason and Carly, but he realized he didn't need to talk to her — he needed to talk to his wife. Carly confessed that everything reminds her of Michael's absence, so she was ready to drop everything and run to protect Morgan from the same fate. Jax admitted they both have a lot to think about.

Jason told Sonny he will take over the organization — as long as Sonny gives up Michael and Morgan. Sonny said he intended to devote more time to his kids, not less. Jason pointed out leaving the business won't make Morgan any safer, and revealed that Carly is ready to run away with Morgan, unless Sonny surrenders his rights. Sonny called Diane to bring over the papers (and a notary). Jason then sold full interest in the coffee business to Sonny, and in exchange, Sonny sold Jason six offshore casinos (he retained the island casino, however), two sugar plantations, his local transport/transfer service, his waste-disposal business and 15 properties around PC. Sonny also signed away his parental rights. Later, Jason went to the docks, where he saw Elizabeth and Jake — then Lucky arrived. Later (much later), the Zaccharas were having a meeting in their Crimson Point study when Jason casually strolled in to tell them, "I'm talking over for Sonny. From now on you deal with me." Back in Port Charles, Sonny told Carly the news about turning the criminal organization over to Jason — oh, and signing away his sons. He asked her to tell Morgan he went away on business, fretting that the boy would wonder why his father left. Carly embraced the sad Sonny, just as Jax returned to peer through the window.

Thursday

Ric advised Anthony to hit Jason before he can consolidate power. Johnny advised against that, noting that Jason must surely be prepared already. He suggested honoring the truce. Ric said Johnny is thinking with his heart, because he's in love with Lulu. Johnny countered that Ric hates Jason for hooking up with Ric's ex-wife, Elizabeth. Meanwhile, in Sonny's old office, Jason was besieged by Max, Bernie and Diane, who were packing up Sonny's stuff. Jason ordered new security measures and preparations to defend against a Zacchara strike. He also told Diane and Max that he doesn't care what they do on their own time. Bernie said their Central American allies think the Corinthos organization is vulnerable. Jason advised changing the Puerto Rican deliveries, and requested all new bank accounts. Meanwhile, Carly told Jax she has to give Morgan the best life possible, and now she can, since Sonny is out of their lives "for good." Jax said he feels like their marriage is bottoming out because she never turns to him. But he's not ready to bail. Diane visited to tell Carly that she's still working for Jason and also for Sonny. Carly immediately went to Jason — who warned she cannot come around anymore. "I just lost Michael; I can't lose you, too," she said. "I'm not going anywhere."

At the offices of Crimson, Lulu and Maxie were bickering when Spinelli arrived and mentioned he spent the night with Maxie, which shocked Lulu. Sam arrived and complimented Spinelli's "hot" hairstyle. Spinelli explained to Lulu about the concussion — but Lulu said Sonny's violent action was somewhat understandable. Sam pointed out Spinelli can handle himself in a fight. Kate arrived and sent the visitors packing. At Sam's place, Spinelli whined that Maxie would never fall for him. Sam told him to take off his shirt so she could assess him. She declared him "not that bad," but suggested he needed "guns" — muscles. She offered to help. When Lucky visited some time later, he found Sam weight-training Spinelli to exhaustion. After he fled, Lucky said he was glad Spinelli is away from Lulu. Meanwhile, Lulu and Maxie continued to snipe over Spinelli. Jax arrived to tell Kate that while Sonny is out of his family's life, it may be too late. Kate called Carly selfish and heartless for forcing Sonny to surrender his children, and Kate was shocked that Jax went along with it. Jax stormed out. Kate followed him to the lobby, where she apologized and they held hands while making up. Bad time for Carly to walk up and get in a snit. Upstairs, Maxie accused Lulu of using Spinelli, and suggested it would not be hard to make Johnny forget Lulu. Lulu wondered if Maxie would make a play for Luke next. Maxie joked that it would be worth it, "just to hear you call me stepmom." Maxie summoned Johnny. He arrived at Crimson from Crimson Point in no time. Maxie asked Johnny to escort her to Federico's party as payback for covering for Lulu at work previously.

At G.H., a patient complained that his E.D. medication wasn't working. Liz and Lucky wondered if there was a bigger problem afoot.

Diane warned Jason that his income tax records will be under scrutiny, and advised him to revise his will. Suddenly, Max announced "the shipment" just got hit. At that moment, Trevor got word that a Corinthos cargo ship had exploded. Anthony chortled that making Jason look weak will panic the Corinthos troops. He expects a traitor to step forward to offer to off Jason. At the waterfront, Dane warned Jason that the cops will be watching for him to retaliate. Max offered to do something, but Jason told him, "I'm the one that's going to respond."

Friday

Claudia told Nikolas that for the Zaccharas, love is just another reason to lie. Her father killed her mother. Nik said Emily broke through his defenses and made him feel safe, which is why he can't imagine life without her. Later, Alfred brought Claudia tea and pointed out that Nik doesn't seem to want to live without Emily. Alfred mentioned that Nik went riding — in the middle of the night. Claudia went to the marsh and found Nik injured after being thrown from his horse.

Alexis asked Sonny to sign away his rights to Kristina, just like he did for the boys. He said he lost Michael and gave up Morgan, so he cannot give up Kristina. Sonny revealed that he expects Carly to eventually let him see the kid again. Alexis was aghast at his "empty gesture" to Carly. "I am trying to protect our daughter," she screamed. Sonny pointed out that she keeps company with the dangerously psychotic Jerry. When slightly less psychotic Ric arrived, Alexis left. Sonny said he gave up his territory to protect his kids. Ric wondered if he could stay away, and if Sonny would play golf and throw dinner parties? Sonny noted he still can't trust Ric. Ric said he would tell the Zaccharas that Sonny is no longer at threat. Sonny pointed out that he's no longer in a position to protect Ric from Jason. Back at Crimson Point, Anthony told Johnny he's ready for Jason's retaliation for blowing up the shipment. In Port Charles, Sonny told Max that he doesn't want any bodyguards. When Max left, Kate arrived and he recapped about quitting the business. He recalled the pride in Michael's eyes when he told the kid he was going legit. He's starting a new life and, "I need you in it."

Carly told Jax, "Our marriage is falling apart." He insisted he and Kate are just business partners, then brought up Jason. Carly said Jason is the only person on Earth who understands her. When Jax asked if she will cut ties with that gangster Carly threw Brenda in his face. He observed that Carly and Sonny always find their way back to each other. She insisted he stay away from Kate. Cue Kate at the door! She asked Carly to reconsider making Sonny give up his parental rights. Carly barely avoided going nuclear, but pointed out that Kate didn't have her permission to take Michael to the warehouse. When Kate fled and Jax protested, Carly encouraged him to go after her — and not come back if he does. What do you want from me, she asked. "How about a reason to stay?" he replied. "I don't want to lose you," she said. "I'm ready to fight for us."

At Crimson Point, Ric urged Anthony to "eliminate" Jason now. Anthony agreed this is a good opportunity. In Jason's new office, Spinelli told Jason he's working out to impress Maxie. Jason revealed he's taking over for Sonny. Diane arrived and observed that Jason obviously doesn't want to be in command. She wagered "every shoe in my closet" that Sonny will try to take it all back. At Crimson, Johnny refused to escort Maxie to Federico's party, and left. While Lulu glowed, Maxie gloated that Johnny still owes her a favor. Later, Maxie summoned Johnny back from Crimson Point. When he arrived at Crimson, Maxie climbed on his lap and kissed him — just as Spinelli walked in and saw.

Back at Crimson Point, Jason silently appeared in Anthony's study. When the Zacchara patriarch returned, he found the room in flames. Trevor dragged him out as they went up. "Someone's gonna pay for this!" Anthony screamed. Then he spotted Jason standing by, silently, with hate burning in his eyes.
