GH Week of May 19, 2008
Monday
In the limo on the way home from treatment facility where they placed
Michael, Sonny and Carly's pain turned into passion and they had sex.
Afterward, Carly regretted their act, stating that she's constantly
sabotaging her life. Sonny said Jax doesn't need to know and admitted that
the sex shouldn't have happened. Carly said that asking him to be Michael's
father years ago was a big mistake. Sonny replied that they did the best
they could with Michael. Carly added that there was a way to keep Morgan
safe. Carly then pulled out documents and asked Sonny to sign away his
parental rights to the boys. Sonny was stunned.
On the private jet, Kate thanks Jax for attending the party with her. Jax
stated that the P.C. airport was closed due to the storm. He lamented about
the situation with Michael. Kate told Jax she regretted paying off Ian. He
accepted her apology and they noted that when it comes to Sonny and Carly,
sometimes they both feel like outsiders. As they chatted, Kate told Jax that
Carly doesn't deserve him and vice versa. He kissed her on the forehead; she
kissed him on the mouth.
Trevor interrupted Johnny and Lulu, who were getting busy in the tool shred
during the storm. Trevor blabbed that Lulu was only with Johnny because
Anthony instructed her to be. He stated that if Lulu didn't follow Anthony's
orders, Luke would go to jail for money laundering. Trevor then warned Lulu
that she's in over her head. Lulu told Trevor that she would not listen to
his threats and she has no intention of going anywhere. Johnny barked at
Trevor to get out. "Send that girl away, before the irrevocable happens,"
Trevor left them with. Afterward, Johnny told Lulu that Trevor is right —
she's safer away from him. Lulu vowed not to leave him and said that he's
what she wants. They hugged. In his car, Trevor placed a call and proceeded
with his plan to bust Luke.
A the storm raged on, an injured Claudia washed up on the shores of
Wyndemere, where Nikolas and Alfred treated her stab wound. Claudia lamented
that everyone seems to want her dead. Nik then mentioned his beloved Emily
and that she's dead. Nik tried to keep Claudia comfortable until phone
service resumed. In her delirium, Claudia spilled about her connection to
Ian.
At the cabin, Jason rescued a stranded Elizabeth. The rain hid his tears
about Michael's condition. Once inside, Jason lamented about his comatose
little buddy. He and Liz recalled their friendship through the years. Jason
stated he's grateful that Liz is Jake's mother and would do anything to keep
him safe. Liz asked Jason to stop being so hard on himself.
Tuesday
Sonny was furious when, after their limo sex, Carly pulled out a form for
him to sign away custody of the boys. Carly pointed out because of Sonny's
influence, Michael grew up thinking that criminals were the good guys and
cops were the bad guys. "I can't let you take my child," Sonny remarked.
Carly said she wasn't punishing Sonny. She was just trying to protect
Morgan. Sonny unequivocally refused to sign and Carly got out of the car.
Once back in her bedroom, Carly undressed and took a shower. Carly emerged
to find Jax waiting for her on the bed. They exchanged, "I love you's" and
made love.
Trevor got a call on his cell phone, stating, "It was done."
At Wyndemere, in her delirium, Claudia confessed to Nikolas about her
involvement in Michael's shooting. Nikolas asked Alfred to do whatever he
could to get the phones working again but the trusty butler was
unsuccessful. Later, Claudia woke up and Nikolas told her about how Emily
was killed by a mob boss's son. Claudia sensed hostility in his voice but
didn't know where it was coming from. Nik replied that one day, she's going
to have to pay for what she did to Michael. Claudia was stunned.
On the private jet, Jax pulled out of his kiss with Kate, which they both
realized was wrong. Kate knew Jax loved Carly and she told him not to give
up on his marriage.
Aboard The Haunted Star, Luke lamented that the recent bout of bad publicity
was hurting business. Tracy was happy, as she wanted Luke to stop his
involvement with the Zaccharas. Luke closed up shop, turned down the lights
and put on some music. He asked Tracy to dance. Then, Trevor busted in,
looking for some action. He offered up the Alcazar piers on a game of High
Card. However, if Trevor won, Luke would have to send Lulu packing. They
drew cards and Trevor won. Just then. Lucky, Harper and the cops came in to
arrest Luke on money laundering charges. They took Trevor in for
questioning, too.
At the cabin, Jason was still inconsolable over not being able to protect
Michael. Elizabeth tried easing his pain, but Jason couldn't get past all
the loss in his life, most of it tied to his lifestyle. A tearful Liz
pointed out that they did do the right thing, but not having him in her or
Jake's life was killing her. "Don't make me love you even more when I know
we'll never be together," Liz cried. Jason decided to go. In the rain, they
kissed and admitted their mutual love for one another, then parted ways.
At the PCPD, Alexis chided Luke for getting arrested when she warned him
that he was under investigation. Trevor was disappointed that Ric showed up
but wouldn't lift a finger to help his old man. Later, Alexis released
Trevor but Mac said evidence was mounting against Luke. Alexis agreed to
release Luke, stating out loud that she didn't think he would be a flight
risk (wink, wink).
Kate met up with Sonny at the deserted Haunted Star. She said she realized
he probably wants to be alone. Sonny said she looked beautiful. He opened up
about leaving Michael at the facility and about Carly's request. Kate sided
with Sonny and advised him not to give up on Morgan, then ran out in tears.
After making love, Carly left a sleeping Jax and slipped out the door.
Later, Jax awoke and Carly was gone. Carly then showed up at the penthouse
and told Jason that she did something that he's not going to like.
Wednesday
At PCPD, Mac was stunned that Alexis released Luke, saying, "He won't run." Wink, wink. Alone with Tracy, Luke whispered, "Pays to have friends in high places." Ric wasn't buying it. He pulled Alexis aside and asked why she was giving Luke a free pass. Alexis did not cop that she was doing Luke a favor.
At Wyndemere, a recovering Claudia denied Nikolas's accusations about hiring Ian. He said she had a choice: Should he tell the cops or tell Jason? Claudia begged Nikolas not to turn her and Johnny in. She explained Sonny's treatment of Johnny and her plan to take out Sonny. She explained that she did not want Michael hurt. Then she stated that she knew Nik had some kind of connection to Devlin and asked what that was. Nik revealed that he gave
$10 million to Ian for the experimental drug, which financed Ian's shipment that the Zacchara's helped distribute, so they were actually partners in crime. Claudia told Nik that he's reading way too much into the chain of events. Claudia then begged Nik to leave Johnny out of it, as she'd jump back into the harbor to save him. "Wouldn't you do that for your brother?" she asked. Just then, Alfred returned with news the phones were working. Nik thanked Alfred and sent him away.
At the penthouse, Jason asked Carly what trouble she was in. She spilled.... about asking Sonny to sign over custody of Morgan. Jason knew Carly wasn't providing all of the details about why she was so upset. She continued on about trying to keep Morgan safe and swore she wasn't doing this to punish Sonny. However, she kept mum about their limo sex.
At Crimson Pointe, Johnny asked his father where Claudia was, concerned that she was missing. Anthony swore he didn't hurt her. Just then, Jerry arrived. He advised Anthony to stay away from the Lansings and left. Still suspicious of his father, Johnny left to go look for Claudia.
At G.H., Cassius inadvertently revealed to Robin that Patrick bought their ,child a huge stuffed animal. Robin thanked Patrick for being so kind and considerate as of late. Patrick stated he's still nervous about being a dad.
Lulu arrived at The Haunted Star to meet Lucky. He warned her their dad is about to take off again. After he explained the money laundering charges, Lulu almost spilled about her involvement. Lucky was suspicious. Just then,
Johnny showed up and Lucky asked what he had to do with their dad's arrest. Johnny stayed mum. Luke told Johnny he'd better keep Lulu safe in his absence. Johnny agreed. Luke shared a sweet good-bye with both of his children. Afterward, Tracy showed up with travelling money for Luke. He shunned it and showed her a briefcase full of Zacchara's money and told Tracy it's enough for a travelling companion. "Anna Devane," Tracy tearfully asked. "Hell, no!" Luke replied. "You." Tracy walked away.... and pulled out her luggage. Luke kissed her, then she replied, "Are you just going to stand, there looking dumb or are we going to get the hell out of Dodge?" With that, Mr. and Mrs. Spencer headed out.
Once alone, Johnny and Lulu speculated on who set up Lulu.
After Carly left, Jason took all his pictures of Michael and turned them face down. Just then, Robin showed up. She was returning a silver globe he'd bought for Michael and left behind at the hospital. She also told him that since he could not recall his own childhood due to his accident, he had no frame of reference to use with Michael. She told him not
to blame himself.
Jerry showed up at Alexis's office bearing chocolate-covered truffles. She took the candy and told him to get out. If he's lonely, "Call Claudia," she huffed. Jerry claimed he kissed Claudia to make her jealous, and succeeded. Jerry then pulled Alexis into a kiss.
Carly returned home to find Jax gone. He left a note saying he needed to go away and figure out what was next, for him and for them. Carly was crushed.
Thursday
At Wyndemere, a recovering Claudia looked at a photo of Nikolas and Emily and found Emily's engagement ring. Later, Nik summoned Nadine to the island to examine Claudia. While doing so, he noticed the photo was moved and checked out the jewelry box. Claudia ordered Nadine to keep her mouth shut about treating her. She agreed, but only because NIk asked her politely. When Claudia brought up Emily, Nik advised her to mind her own business. Claudia managed to get Nikolas to open up and he filled her in on his history with Emily. Then he stated he'll never love anyone like that again.
Kate arrived at Carly's and asked her not to pressure Sonny into rescinding custody of Morgan. Kate argued that Morgan losing his father wouldn't help anyone. Carly barked at Kate to butt out and get out of her house.
In his office, Sonny told Diane he needs to make some changes for the future. Diane advised Sonny not to litigate for custody of Morgan against his grieving ex. Sonny wasn't hearing it and ordered her to draw up papers. In the coffeehouse, Max told Diane he decided that he doesn't care what Sonny says, he's going to see Diane. Diane was delighted, especially when Max proceeded to ask her to go away for the weekend with him. Diane happily agreed. Just then, Johnny arrived and demanded that Sonny tell him where Claudia is. "Is this where you try and kill me again?" Sonny asked. Just then, Claudia called and told her brother she was safe.
At G.H., Kelly informed Robin her pregnancy blog was a big hit. Patrick misinterpreted Robin's "misery" of pregnancy comment, thinking that she didn't want to be pregnant. Robin said the blog is inspiring for women and she barely talks about the father, which of course, piqued Patrick's interest. When he asked Kelly what she's been saying about him, Kelly grinned, "You don't want to know." Patrick asked Kelly to pull the blog up. Patrick was furious when he watched, as Robin accused the father of her baby of acting like an adolescent. Patrick decided to fight fire with fire and, with Coleman's help, started his own blog for dads-to-be.
At the Crimson offices, Maxie was swamped on the phones when Spinelli showed up. Johnny showed up in search of Lulu, who hadn't come to work yet. Spinelli was jealous when Maxie's designer friend Federico called. Just when Maxie stated she was going to report Lulu, to Kate Johnny stated that if she'd cover for Lulu, he would owe Maxie a favor, no questions asked. Maxie jumped at the offer. Spinelli accused Maxie of flirting with "the mob
prince."
Lulu went to see Anthony, who was furious that Trevor went and had Luke
arrested, fearing he'd lose his influence over Lulu. Sure enough, Lulu told Anthony their deal for her to stay with Johnny was off. Anthony ordered Lulu to stay with his son or else Lucky would receive a policeman's funeral with all the trimmings. Lulu stormed out.
Carly summoned Spinelli to the house to have him search for Jax. Spinelli tracked his credit charges to Rome. Carly was upset, stating their was only one person he'd be seeing there, then said she wouldn't drag her husband home if he didn't want to be there.
Johnny and Lulu rendezvoused and she told him about Anthony's threat. Johnny promised nothing would happen to her or her family.
Kate returned to the office, where Maxie covered for Lulu. Diane arrived and when Kate mentioned the custody situation, Diane advised her friend to stay out of it, then mentioned that somehow, Sonny and Kate always find their way back to each other.
Carly showed up at Sonny's office and heard him talking about papers. She told him his effort to sue for custody of Morgan would be fruitless. Sonny stated that he can keep Morgan safe — because he's going to leave the organization.
Friday
As Robin blogged, she was interrupted by a knocking at the door. She thought it was Patrick, but it was actually Anna with a present. Robin was surprised by her mother's conservative dress and complaints of back pain. Anna admitted that she's getting old, then started talking about getting a home and settling down. Robin realized it's all "grandmother" related. Anna's phone rang. It was Chip, who works for Eli Love. Eli wanted Anna to join him in Rio for two days but, to Robin's shock, she turned him down, then drank her tea.
As Patrick blogged at Jake's, he offered potential pops advice about women and mentioned that Robin's mom is hot. As Patrick vented, Coleman focused the camera on two sexy girls playing pool. Coleman advised Patrick to consider before putting his blog on the Internet. Anna and Robin bumped into Patrick at Jake's. He said Anna looked like a math teacher. Anna ordered a sherry instead of her usual martini. Anna then told Patrick that he didn't have to marry Robin. "No more meddling," she insisted. When a fight broke out, Anna separated the brutes. Then, one of the men grabbed her and held her at knifepoint. Anna reverted to her old self, escaped the hold and knocked out both men. She ordered herself a martini, then Eli called. Robin said she should go. Anna accepted, hugged her daughter and said she'd be back soon.
Jason showed up at Sonny's office, where Carly mentioned that Sonny has new plans. Sonny announced he's signing over the business to Jason. Carly countered that he needs to sign over Michael and Morgan instead and left. Sonny asked Jason if he'd do it. Jason was hesitant and questioned Sonny's decision. The men argued over whether Sonny could successfully leave mob life behind. Sonny asked Jason again, as a friend, to take over the biz so he could have a life.
Lucky arrived at the Zacchara tool shed and interrupted Johnny and Lulu's tryst. Lulu ran and hid from her brother. Johnny told Lucky that he would protect Lulu. When Lucky told Johnny he doesn't want Lulu involved with the Zaccharas, Lulu burst out of hiding, saying she can run her own life. Lucky warned her if she's not careful, she could end up like their mother. Lulu called Lucky "manipulative and unfair" and Lucky left. Johnny offered to send Lulu out of town to keep her safe. She said no way, that they belong together. They proceeded to make love.
At Wyndemere, a recovering Claudia thanked Nikolas for not turning her in to the police but still wouldn't reveal who stabbed her. The two shared stories of their childhoods and family life and realized they had a lot in common. Lucky arrived and Claudia hid. Lucky then told Nik that Johnny is sleeping with Lulu. Nikolas said Lulu has to make her own choices. Lucky asked his brother to influence Johnny to avoid Lulu. Nik reluctantly agreed.
At Metro Court, Carly told Jerry that Jax left town. Jerry asked if she wanted him to go look for his brother. Carly said he'll come back when he's ready. Jerry advised Carly not to shut Jax out. Carly then went to Marty and asked for all the money in the hotel safe. Carly then went home, dismissed Mercedes and told Morgan that they were going on a little trip.
Milo told Diane that Max was still in love with Carly. The news did not sit well with Ms. Miller. She then brought the custody papers to Sonny. Afterward, Max told Diane that Milo was wrong and he bumbled his way through an apology, which Diane happily accepted.
Robin asked Patrick why he was carrying around his laptop and though he evaded her, she successfully guessed that he did a blog. Robin demanded to watch it. She thought it was sexist and stated she probably got more hits. They agreed not to look at each other's blogs and kissed.
