GH Week of March 21, 2011
Monday
At The Haunted Star, Luke told Tracy there's nothing worse than losing a
child. Tracy tried playing cards with Luke to keep his mind off of
everything; Luke lamented not staying at G.H. "I needed to get out of
there," he sighed.
In the O.R., Patrick and Robin worked feverishly to save Jake, as Jason
watched from the observation room. Sam joined Jason and they held hands.
During Jake's surgery, Elizabeth was inconsolable, but Lucky did his best to
assure her that Jake would be okay. Steven calmed Liz, as Siobhan did with
Lucky. Nikolas showed up and Lucky tried to put a happy face on the
situation. Together, they all prayed. Lulu arrived to give her brother a
hug, and Dante noted they had ways to ID the driver.
Meanwhile, Terrell broke the news to Carly and Jax that Josslyn had kidney
cancer. They discussed the possibility of chemo -- or a transplant. Jax
vowed to do whatever it took to save his daughter.
Sam and Dante told Lucky that they wanted to investigate to find out who ran
down Jake. Lucky gave them his okay, then went to ask Liz about what
happened. After, Lucky gave Dante Liz's account of the accident.
Michael broke the news to Carly that Jason was also in the building, and
that Jake had been critically injured. Carly wiped her tears, took a breath
and asked Michael to watch over Joss while she went to check on her friend.
Jake flat-lined on the operating table. Lucky saw Jason come out of the O.R.
The only words they exchanged were, "He's gone." Lucky teared up, then
realize what he had to do. He went to tell Liz, and from behind the glass,
we saw them weep, embrace and fall to the ground.
Abby called Michael to check on him.... Lulu went to Luke to tell him that
Jake was on life support. Tracy asked them not to tell Edward that Jake was
Jason's son... Nikolas told Steven he'd take Cam and Aidan for as long as
Liz needed.... Sam told Dante that she would do anything to help with the
investigation. With the aid of a surveillance camera, they narrowed the
suspects to seven cars.... Abby showed up at G.H. and embraced Michael.
Michael told Abby that he finally got what Jason and his mom told him about
losing a child.
Patrick tearfully told Lucky and Liz that Jake was on life support and
mentioned organ donation... Jason went to the roof and recalled his times
with Jake.... Patrick lamented that he wasn't good enough to save Jake.
Robin gave him a silent hug.... Steven held Liz as she cried.... Siobhan
walked Lucky to Jake's room, so he could say good-bye. Lucky broke down
before he could go in.... Carly found Jason on the roof. "Your son can save
my daughter," she cried.
Tuesday
As they looked into who ran down Jake, Sam recognized one of the license plate numbers on the suspect sheet was her own. She then recalled hitting
potholes while enduring a blinding headache as she drove earlier. Sam
offered to have forensics look at her car. Meanwhile, Dante and Sam realized
that Sonny and Brenda were in one of the cars, then they determined Robin and
Lisa where also driving near the accident site.
In the O.R., Robin tried to console a distraught Patrick, who blamed himself
for not being able to save Jake. Robin replied that she was tired of wasting
time and apologized to Patrick for keeping their family apart.
Lucky wept with Siobhan before going in to see Jake. Just then, Elizabeth
arrived on the scene. "Have you been in to see Jake?" she asked. Siobhan
gave them some time alone. Liz insisted there was no hurry to take Jake off
life support. "I'm not ready to let him go," she cried.
On the roof, Carly asked Jason about a kidney transplant for Josslyn. "I'm
begging you," Carly wept. "I know I'm handling this all wrong but I don't
know what to do." Jason agreed to talk to Elizabeth.
Kristina showed up at G.H. to comfort Michael. Just then, Abby entered. "We
can all wait together," Krissy smiled through gritted teeth. When Michael
left the room, Kristina told Abby that she wasn't needed and she should go.
Abby decided not to cause a scene and left. Michael returned and Krissy told him
Abby had to leave.
Jason spoke with Steven about having Jake tested to be a kidney donor for
Josslyn. Jason then went to see Liz. "I'm so sorry," she cried. Jason
assured Liz that she was a wonderful mother and Jake's accident was not her
fault. When Jason brought up the transplant option, Liz slapped him and
said, "There's no way you're using my son for spare parts." Jason then went
to Lucky and told him the situation. The men realized that Jake's death
could save Joss's life. Lucky went to speak to Liz. He pointed out that Jake
was gone and nothing was going to bring him back. However, if they helped
Josslyn, Jake would not have died in vain.
Nikolas went to see Luke at The Haunted Star and told Luke that Lucky needed
him by his side. Luke continued to drink. "Be a father, for Lucky's sake,"
Nik huffed.
Terrell met with Jax and told him that Joss needed to start chemo
immediately. Carly showed up and mentioned that if they get a kidney from
Jake, they'd want to do a transplant right away. Then, Jason told Carly that
Elizabeth refused the transplant. Carly fretted until Lucky and Liz showed
up, and Liz said they signed the paperwork for the operation. "You saved my
daughter's life," Carly cried. "Thank you!"
Terrell asked Lisa to assist in the transplant.... Robin asked Patrick to
come home. Lisa was not happy.... Dante got the ID on another plate — it was
Luke's car.... Lucky went to see his father. Luke advised his son to live
with the pain of losing Jake, because he has no alternative. Lucky told
Lucky he was proud of the father he became.... Carly, Jax and Michael told
Joss that they were there for her as she was wheeled into surgery. Jax's
nerves were frayed due to the stress of the situation.... Dante determined
the final car (Theo and Suzanne) had fake plates. Then, forensics called and
Sam was off the hook. Dante realized the final car in question belonged to
Carly.... Jason went to Liz's house and when he found Jake's toy motorcycle,
Jason began to cry.
Wednesday
Luke stopped by to visit Elizabeth, but was unable to offer much
comfort to his former daughter-in-law.... At the PCPD, Lulu gave Dante a hug
and caught a glimpse of the list of suspects in Jake's hit-and-run. She was
shocked to see Luke and Carly's names on it. Lulu raced to The Haunted Star
and informed Luke. He admitted that he was on the street in question, then
said aloud he hoped that Carly wasn't responsible.... At G.H., Carly assured
Josslyn that she'd be okay. Carly and Jax then talked about the fragility of
life. Carly felt terrible for Elizabeth's loss, then called Jason to thank
him for everything he did.
In Italy, Sonny and Brenda enjoyed their honeymoon, but Brenda couldn't get
past Suzanne's betrayal. Sonny vowed they would never lose one another
again.... In their limo, Theo informed Suzanne that he had an ace up his
sleeve: he contributed drug money to ASEC and if she didn't reveal the
location of his grandson, her charity would be ruined. Suzanne then received
a call that a child had been relocated safely to Louisiana. Then, Theo's
phone rang. He smiled, listened and hung up, pleased to know that his
grandson was still alive. Suzanne realized that her husband had tapped her
phone. Theo planned to have his wife disposed of, citing that she was no
longer the woman he married. Suzanne accused Theo of ruining their son,
Aleksander, and claimed that she hid their grandson to protect him.
A trench coat-clad Lisa arrived at Johnny's penthouse with a gift. High on
saving Josslyn's life in the O.R., she then announced that she stole the
syringe back from Robin ‹ and dropped her trench coat. Johnny pulled Lisa
into a passionate kiss. After sex, Johnny told Lisa that she doesn't stand a
chance of landing Patrick ever again. Lisa slapped him and strolled out.
The Drakes had a fun-filled family breakfast together and headed to the
hospital. Jake's death made them appreciate all that they have. At G.H.,
Robin was crestfallen to discover that Lisa had stolen the syringe from her
locker. Robin was even more upset to learn that in her chase with Lisa,
she could have hit Jake. Patrick tried to calm his wife. After Robin was
exonerated, Patrick was convinced Lisa was the guilty one.
Michael learned from Max that Carly was on the suspect list so he hightailed
it to the PCPD. Kristina created a ruse and Michael stole evidence that
implicated his mom. Back at G.H., Michael filled in Abby about what he was
up to. She tried to persuade him to let the truth come out, no matter who
the guilty party was, but Michael was determined to protect his mother.
Ronnie informed Dante that Sonny's car came up clean. He then warned Dante
not to lose his objectivity when it came to Lulu's relatives being
suspects.... Luke visited Carly at G.H. and informed her she's a suspect in
Jake's accident.... Michael examined Carly's car and found scratches on the
vehicle.
Thursday
Patrick went to Johnny and accused him of sending Lisa on a reckless mission that could have killed Jake. Patrick then punched Johnny.
At G.H., Robin read Lisa the riot act. Robin made sure to let Lisa know she and Patrick were back together. Patrick returned, and Mac arrived with the results of the forensics test on Lisa's car. No one knew Lisa was hiding a blade in her pocket. Mac told Lisa she'd be cited for reckless driving, but there was no sign that she hit Jake. Lisa pointed out that Robin's paranoia struck again.
Steven found Michael in the parking garage while he was checking out Carly's car. Steven said he was glad that Jake could save Josslyn. Upstairs, Carly was frantic thinking that she could have hit Jake with her car. Luke tried to keep her calm. When Dante came to question both of them, Carly got mad that Luke was on the list too, but didn't say anything.
Back at the penthouse, Sam tried to comfort Jason but he was inconsolable. Just then, a delivery man brought a copy of Spinelli's book. Shortly after, Spinelli returned. He had no words of comfort, but shared a warm hug with Stone Cold.
As Steven was straightening Elizabeth's house, Olivia stopped by with a casserole. He was still trying to process Jake's accident. Olivia relayed that Jax was extremely grateful for the sacrifice Steven's family made. Elizabeth came downstairs and told Olivia to let Jax know they were thinking of him. After, Liz told Steven she had a dream about Jake. She then mentioned she needed to do something with Jake's room, but she didn't know what. Steven tried to calm her but Liz said that her life would never be the same. Just then, Nikolas brought Cameron and Aiden home. Cam asked about Jake, leaving the adults speechless.
At PCPD, Dante chastised Lulu for spilling to Luke that he was on the suspect list. After, Dante learned from Mac that Michael had been at the precinct earlier asking questions. Dante then phoned Michael, who reported he'd just had a fender bender. Dante went to the scene and accused Michael of covering for Carly.
Carly went to a grieving Jason and thanked him for saving Joss, and for never failing her. Jason wanted to know what she really wanted to say. She admitted that she could have hit Jake.
When Robin and Patrick headed out of work for some family time, Lisa took the blade out of her pocket and sliced a photo of Robin…. Lulu went to Luke. They hoped Carly was innocent and thought it may have been the car with the forged plates (Theo's).
Friday
At Elizabeth's house, Nikolas straightened the mail pile, not realizing it contained the results of the paternity test. Liz had no idea how to inform her other sons that Jake was never coming home. Nik and Liz then talked about the good old days, before life got so complicated.
Luke and Lulu broke the news to Lucky that Carly was on the list of suspects in Jake's hit and run. Lucky was furious at Carly's latest reckless act, even though there was no proof she was the culprit. Luke tried to help Lucky deal with his anger, to no avail. Lucky walked out.
At G.H., a tearful Carly confessed to Jason that she may have hit Jake. Jason was shaken but started asking Carly for specifics. Carly couldn't believe how calm Jason was. Just then, Dante called and cleared Carly. She was relieved, but still sad for Jason. Carly thanked Jason for being her friend, and he did the same.
Luke visited Josslyn and found Michael watching over her. Michael was grateful for Lucky and Elizabeth allowing the transplant. Luke gave Michael a heads up that Lucky was gunning for Carly, and asked Michael to remember that Lucky was grieving.
Nikolas went to see Lulu and encouraged her to visit Liz.... Jason checked in on Elizabeth. "Come in," she whispered. He returned Jake's toy motorcycle. Jason apologized for abandoning Liz. She apologized for what she'd said earlier, adding that she was sorry that he wasn't a part of Jake's life.
Carly told Michael she was cleared in the hit-and-run. Luke was happy to hear the news, as well.... At the PCPD, Dante informed Lucky that Carly was cleared, and handed Lucky the file on the culprit. Lucky was stunned. He sat down and reviewed the file, then walked out,.
Michael went to see Abby and briefed her on the latest news. Michael questioned God's will but Abby gave him comfort — followed by a sensual kiss — and her leading him to the bedroom.
Dante called Jason and said he needed to see him immediately. When Jason arrived, Dante broke the news that Luke was the driver…. Lucky went to see Luke. Without him even saying a thing, Luke could tell by Lucky's expression that he was the guilty party. Luke was in shock. When he reached for a drink, Lucky asked, "Dad, were you drinking?"
Franco called Carly and left a menacing video message for her about Josslyn.
