General Hospital Recaps

GH Week of March 14, 2011

Monday

Kristina tried to talk Carly into stopping Michael from sleeping with a stripper who's only after his money. Carly pointed out that Michael is different from the other kids at school, but Krissy said he just has to get to know somebody. Carly suggested that Kristina simply resents that Michael has someone else to confide in, just like her and Jason. At Abby's place, her make-out session with Michael was interrupted by the oven timer. Michael praised her cooking skills (and dissed his mom's). When he suggested they drink wine with dinner, she poured, saying he's entitled to make his own decisions. (But she decided he should take a taxi home later.) She bubbled about the wonderful suite at Metro Court, but talk of the big bed and shower made him uncomfortable. Later, they kissed and started undressing, but his phone rang. It was Kristina, with word that Brenda was dying. Carly later met with Jax at the Metro Court and told him about Brenda dying at the hospital. He suspected it was a "test," and they quickly devolved into arguing over Jax keeping Josslyn at the hotel, but he insisted it's their job as parents to keep the kids safe, and stormed out. Later, at GH, Krissy told Abby that if she really cares about Michael, she should get out of his life.

Dante stopped Jason from firing on the Balkan's helicopter as it fled the air field. Dante insisted that Jason stick around while he called in the fatalities. When Dante made his report to Mac, the commissioner was furious about so many bodies turning up lately. He announced the department will no longer collaborate with the Corinthos organization in criminal investigations. Mac warned Jason that he and Sonny soon will be back atop the most-wanted list. Then Dante and Jason bickered over how best to deal with Theo. Jason called Carly and told her to get to the hospital to help Sonny with Brenda, but she declined, citing the bad blood between her and Brenda. Jason returned to the penthouse and ordered Spinelli to track down Theo again. Sam said Brenda was rescued, so it's all over, but Jason vowed to make Theo pay for trying to kill Sam. Later, Dante went to Lulu and told her that Brenda's condition spooked him. He insisted Theo needs to rot in prison, because a bullet is too merciful. Then he shifted gears and got personal: "I've been an ass" about Brenda, he admitted, but she forgave him. They kissed. Then he got a call that Brenda is out of danger. He apologized again for keeping her in the dark, but Lulu cited it as justification for copious amounts of make-up sex.

At The Haunted Star, Luke told Ethan that Carly retained him to persuade Jax to drop his custody demands. Luke revealed that he recently procured seven "hot" diamonds, and plans to use them to frame Jax just enough to avoid prison but convince him to give in to Carly. Tracy and Maya arrived and demanded to know what the guys were up to. Ethan backed up Luke's story that they need to scam Jax. When Ethan and Maya left, Luke told Tracy, "I'm sorry." He admitted it hasn't been easy to be married to him, and offered to take her anywhere in the world for a "real" honeymoon.

At G.H., Robin encouraged Brenda to fight to live. Patrick told Sonny that without knowing the specific neurotoxin, it's hard to know what antidote to use, so Brenda may not survive the night. Sonny went to Brenda and encouraged her with promises of trips. Then he asked Edward to sit with her. Edward was dubious of Sonny's motives, but sat with her and excoriated Sonny -- while Robin and Sonny listened in. He demanded she come to afternoon tea twice a week. Patrick told Sonny the latest tests indicated she's not getting any better. After Edward left, Sonny and Robin spent some time at Brenda's bedside. Then Sonny called Bernie and vowed to kill Theo in revenge -- while Michael listened. Michael offered to help Sonny with Theo, but Sonny told him to be a better man and make a life separate from the mob, so he won't have to worry about his loved ones. Sonny returned to Brenda and told her she's made his life better. He recalled how she changed him by teaching him how to love and be loved. "You cannot leave me this way," he complained. Then she suddenly woke up! Patrick said the antidote was working, but Robin declared that Sonny's love brought her back. Robin asked him not to go off seeking revenge.
Later, Michael lamented to Abby that Sonny and Jason still treat him like a kid. He resolved to prove to Sonny what he can do on his own.

Tuesday

At the Hub, Lisa accused Robin of "hammering" Patrick with guilt. Robin snarled back, and then Patrick stepped between them. When Terrell arrived, Patrick told him that Lisa is a "psychopath" who drugged and tried to kill Robin and kidnapped Emma. Lisa dismissed it all as Robin's paranoia. Steve broke up the scrum, warning Robin and Lisa they will be suspended if it happens again. Lisa visited Johnny to complain about Patrick blasting her. Johnny said Patrick has moved on, and she should do the same. She wondered if she could be misguided, but noted she feels like she doesn't have a life without Patrick. Steve summoned Lisa back to G.H. for a consult on a motorcycle accident — along with Patrick, of course. Meanwhile, Terrell asked Steve if Patrick's charges are true. Steve noted there's no proof of anything. Terrell offered to comfort Robin, but she got a text from Johnny saying he left something for her at Kelly's. Lisa got a similar text, directing her to Metro Court. Both women found notes to be at Johnny's place at 5 o'clock.

At Kelly's, Abby found Michael studying for a chemistry test. When Johnny entered, Michael confronted him, but Johnny said Abby can pay him back whenever. Also, she's welcome to come back to work at Vaughn's anytime. Later, Michael visited the penthouse and overheard Spinelli taking a message for Jason about a vital incoming shipment. Michael told him not to bother Jason with the message, because Sonny' men could handle it. Later, Abby invited Michael to dinner, but he begged off, saying he has to fill in for Jason.

Spinelli's dogged research turned up the Balkan's local connection: the Trujillos organization. Jason wanted to exact revenge because they helped Theo hurt Sam. Jason held Trujillo at gunpoint and demanded information. Trujillo said he put Theo in touch with John Zacchara. Jason confronted Johnny and accused him of breaking the truce. Johnny insisted he just provided some muscle, and was told to follow some guy stalking Sam — so he shot the guy before he could talk. Johnny noted he could have shot Jason if he'd wanted to

Nikolas and Brook Lynn returned to Wyndemere after an art exhibit in New York. They started kissing, but Elizabeth interrupted — worried that Aiden might see them. Nik pointed out the kid is in his nursery with his nanny. Liz called his talk about about being a committed father hot air, and decreed that Aiden cannot visit as long as Brook lives there. Brook accused Liz of wanting Nik's money. Nik seemed to favor Brook in their bickering, so Liz stormed out. Back at G.H., Steve advised his sister to compromise with Nikolas, and offered to help her financially. Liz then surreptitiously called to learn the paternity-test results will be available Thursday.

Jax asked Alexis to represent him in the divorce — and get him primary custody of Morgan and Josslyn. She said his adoption of Morgan was not completed in time, so it's not legal. He didn't want to paint Carly as a bad mother, but Alexis said he has to show Carly is unfit. Meanwhile, at The Haunted Star, Carly told Luke and Ethan that one good scare will make Jax drop his custody bid — but she didn't want Jax's life destroyed. Alexis next went to the Star, where she found Carly and Luke plotting. Later, Luke and Ethan entered Jax's room at Metro Court and easily opened his safe. They planted the Fever Diamonds in the safe. When Jax entered, the guys hid. Then Carly arrived. Jax told her he had retained Alexis. Luke quietly appealed to Carly to distract Jax while they slipped out. No sooner had Luke and Ethan reached the corridor than they ran into a suspicious Alexis. Carly told Jax that his safe contains stolen jewels, and Interpol Agent Bates is on his way. Unless Jax gives up his custody bid, he'll be arrested.

Wednesday

In Jax's room at Metro Court, he railed at Carly's blackmail, declaring he was more determined than ever to get full custody of the kids, since Carly is proving she isn't a good role model. Outside Jax's room, Alexis quizzed Luke and Ethan, but then Agent Bates arrived, pursuing a tip about stolen gems. He recognized Ethan's face, but couldn't quite place him. Luke invoked Alexis as his lawyer, and she temporarily backed Bates off. Bates went to Jax's room, where Carly tried to convince him that the tip was meant to bust Theo, but Bates wouldn't buy it, and decided to confiscate Jax's safe. Alexis claimed to represent Jax, and suggested maybe the gems could be given to Bates anonymously. Jax took a hard line, threatening to have Bates' badge pulled, but Bates cared more about bringing in Jax or Luke rather than some missing gems. As Alexis, Carly, Jax and Luke all blustered, a frustrated Bates sighed and agreed to accept the stones anonymously.

Lucky overheard Elizabeth arranging to receive somebody's test results in the mail, but she brushed off his questions. He said his relationship with Siobhan isn't meant to hurt her or the kids, but he had to beg off taking the boys for the evening because he has to get married. Liz said no one else could watch the kids, so Lucky was stuck. Liz voiced her concerns about Cam and Jake getting a sudden stepmother who was trying to break immigration laws. Lulu overheard and asked, "Were you thinking of Cam and Jake when you were screwing his brother?" Later, Lucky and Siobhan went to The Haunted Star, where she suggested not getting married for the sake of the kids. She also wondered if Lucky still has feelings for Liz. Lucky confessed he'll always have a place for her in his heart as the mother of his sons, but living in the past is a waste of time. Siobhan was skeptical, but accepted that. When Luke returned, grumbling, "Women are ruining my life," Lucky asked his dad to be a witness for their wedding.

Brenda was eager for Sonny to take her home from the hospital, but he urged her to take it slow. She worried about him taking revenge on Theo, instead blaming herself for letting Suzanne close. Dante ran into Lulu at the hospital, and basically asked her permission to wish Brenda well. Lulu laughed, and said she doesn't need full disclosure every time he talks to a woman. Later, Sonny met with Dante, who notified Sonny they won't be working together anymore, so if he sees his father doing anything illegal, he will arrest him. Dante visited Brenda and wished her well with his father. Later, Patrick gave Brenda a clean bill of health and released her. Sonny started packing -- to take her on their honeymoon.

Jason demanded that Johnny give him the details on his dealings with Theo. Johnny recalled Theo mentioning Paris once. Meanwhile, Robin arrived at Johnny's place -- followed quickly by Lisa. They compared notes (literally), and Robin assumed that Johnny would turn Lisa in. Back at G.H., Patrick sent Sam home. Then Steve came by, looking for Lisa. When Patrick revealed that she ran off, Steve declared, "the nonsense stops now," and warned Patrick that from now on, the doctors will keep their personal crap away from G.H. Meanwhile, Johnny returned home and informed the ladies they will both be going on a treasure hunt to find the syringe that could sent Lisa to jail. Robin's clue led her to the Hub, where she talked her way past a skeptical Patrick. Her next clue sent her to Carly's house, where Carly caught her and threw her out before she could grab her next clue. Patrick went directly to Johnny to demand the syringe. Lisa's clue sent her to Steve's office, where he caught her rifling his desk. "You're fired!" he bellowed.

Abby was surprised that Sonny would be okay with Michael supervising a shipment, but Michael brushed off her concerns and suggested meeting for a late dinner. When Sam returned to the penthouse, Spinelli fussed over her, but she immediately rushed out to track Theo. When Jason returned, he set Spin working on Paris leads. Then Abby arrived to ask about Michael. Jason frantically called the kid's cell, but it was off, because he was observing the shipment from under cover. Suddenly, Ronnie and Dante busted the operation. Dante was stunned to capture Michael!

Thursday

Robin explained how she's on Johnny's treasure hunt for a syringe that could put Lisa in jail. Carly gave her two minutes to look around. Robin found her clue and left. Meanwhile, Steve blasted Lisa for leaving the hospital without notifying him. She pleaded her case, but he questioned keeping her on staff. Steve wondered what else she's been lying about? Was sleeping with him a ploy? He promised to fire her if the syringe surfaces. Meanwhile, Patrick told Johnny that Lisa needs professional help, but Johnny insisted he knows crazy, and Lisa ain't it. He hinted Lisa reminds him of Claudia. Johnny suggested that Patrick helped Lisa lose her marbles by using her for one night. Patrick stormed out. Lisa went back to Johnny, demanding an explanation for her cryptic clue, but he refused. Robin returned to the Hub, where Patrick filled her in about Johnny. Steve dragged Patrick away for a consult. Robin managed to find the syringe at The Haunted Star, and set off in her car with Lisa in hot pursuit!

At the pier, Dante warned Michael to stay put while he went back and told Ronnie he lost the guy he was chasing. Jason pulled up, Michael jumped in his car, and they sped off. Jason scolded him for coming close to getting sent back to prison, and declared this would never happen again. Abby summoned Sam to express her fears about Michael getting sent back to prison. Sam was suffering from headaches. Back at the penthouse, Michael resisted Jason's scolding and suggested Jason needs his help, but won't admit it. "You need somebody you can trust," Michael said. "It'll never be you," Jason replied. Michael admitted he fears going back to prison, but he fears living a corporate life someone else wants for him is worse. Dante met Lulu at Kelly's and told her about catching Michael in the raid. He's agonizing about sending his brother back to prison or deeper into the mob. Later, Dante went to the penthouse and announced his intention to arrest...Jason. He excoriated Jason for teaching Michael the business, and vowed to catch him making a mistake.

At Sonny's, Max, Milo and Diane assembled so Sonny could tell Brenda that they all work to keep her happy. Brenda asked about moving to the house in the woods. Diane said the house was sold, which angered Brenda. Sonny admitted it, and promised to consult her about such matters in the future. He took her on a "tour" of the house — meaning the bedroom. He said the house is too big to live in by himself anymore, and asked her to make it a home. "I've never had a home," Brenda sighed. "I want to make a home wherever you want to."

Luke was skeptical of Lucky rushing into marriage with Siobhan. Lucky insisted he's only marrying to keep her in the country, and his father can show up if her wants to. Elizabeth brought Cameron, Jake and Aiden to the hospital and anticipated getting the paternity test results today. Liz told Steve that Lucky is getting married. Meanwhile, Lucky told Siobhan that marrying her is his idea. Carly dropped in on Luke, who told her to let Jax raise the kids — it's easier than trying to figure out being a parent. When it was their turn at the courthouse, Lucky asked Siobhan: "Do you want to marry me or not?"

At home, Elizabeth pondered opening the envelope containing the lab results while the children played on the living room floor. Out on the highway, cars were converging, including: an anguished Luke; a frantic Robin with Lisa on her bumper; Sonny, who was being nuzzled by Brenda; Carly, who was on the phone with Jax; and Sam, who was suddenly overcome by headache. Liz realized Jake had wandered out the door and into the road. "Jake!" she screamed...

Friday

As Elizabeth looked over the results of Aiden's paternity test, Jake slipped out the front door. Meanwhile, Luke, Robin, Lisa, Sonny and Brenda, Carly and Sam were all seen driving cars. Liz realized Jake had gotten outside and ran after him, screaming his name. Sirens were heard. A short time later, Sam pulled over with her head pounding.

Robin made it to the Hub, followed closely by Lisa, who acted like the syringe was nothing, and warned her that telling Steve an absurd story of a treasure hunt would get them both fired. Steve stepped up and scolded everyone for having another personal fight in the hospital. Then a nurse told Steve that Jake was on the way in after being hit by a car.... Carly found Jax at the hospital with Josslyn, whose fever spiked. They anxiously awaited test results.

At city hall, Lucky asked Siobhan point-blank if she wants to marry him. She fretted, but they still went before the judge. Then Luke burst in, eager to serve as witness. As the ceremony began, Liz called to tell Lucky that Jake was hit. At the penthouse, Dante promised to find a way to nail Jason. He refused to stand by and watch Michael destroy his own life. He was complaining about covering for Michael when Jason got a call from Lucky about Jake.

Brenda nagged Sonny about where the honeymoon will be. He hinted it's someplace warm. Aboard the private jet, he continued to tease her, until she figured out they're going to Positano, Italy. She warned him he better not be pursuing revenge during their honeymoon. He promised no one would ever hurt her again. Meanwhile, Theo and Suzanne parked outside the home of people she identified as the adoptive parents of their grandson, but it was abandoned. He accused her of tipping off the parents.

In the ER, Steve had to restrain Liz from the trauma room. When Lucky arrived, she rushed into his arms, crying, "I'm sorry." Robin told Jason that Jake is in critical condition with head trauma. Steve told him that Liz revealed Jason is Jake's biological father. He advised Jason to steer clear of Liz for now. Michael pointed out that both he and Jason survived head trauma. Lucky quizzed Liz, who said she didn't see any car, only Jake laying in the street, unconscious. He tried to reassure her. Steve reported that Cam and Aiden are fine with a neighbor, then he took his sister upstairs to the cafeteria. Siobhan sat with Lucky, who bemoaned that he was supposed to take the boys tonight. Patrick barred Liz from seeing Jake before the surgery, then he and Robin scrubbed in. Carly called Michael to tell him about Joss. Jason left Sam a message, then sat alone in a darkened waiting room. Tracy found a bereaved Luke drinking alone at The Haunted Star. He told her about Jake. "What kind of heartless bastard hits a child and just keeps driving?" he wondered. He told her that Jake is Jason's biological son, but Lucky is the child's father in every way that matters.

Jax called the failure of his and Carly's marriage one of the great disappointments of his life. Carly suggested they come up with a custody agreement they can both live with. Terrell entered and revealed that Josslyn might have kidney cancer, so he wants to run more tests. If if it's cancer on one kidney, he can remove it. If both kidneys have tumors, they will do chemo, although a transplant is possible. When Michael arrived, Jax filled him in. Michael offered encouraging words to his baby sister.

Carly watched over a sleeping Joss.... Sonny and Brenda kissed.... Tracy sat quietly with Luke.... At the penthouse, Sam got Jason's message.... Patrick and Robin entered the operating theater, while Jason watched from the observation gallery.... Steve guided Liz and Lucky into a conference room, where a sobbing Liz fussed with Jake's sweater and Lucky held her.
