Monday
Spinelli told Sam that Dante got Michael freed, but not Jason. Sam was sure Jason doesn't regret his decision. Spinelli resolved to seek retribution for Jason. Meanwhile, Jason met with Maxie in Pentonville. She showed him Franco's photo and told him, "Franco's back; you have to stop him." She worried that this time Franco wants to kill her. Jason told her to take the photo to Claire. When he revealed that Michael is out, Maxie called Jason selfish for leaving Spinelli — and her — alone. Later, she filled in Spinelli, who was upset that she turned to Stone Cold for protection. Back at Pentonville, Jason was informed he was getting a conjugal visit from his wife, "Brenda." Of course it was Sam in sunglasses.
Olivia visited Dante's loft, asking Lulu to talk sense into Johnny for getting involved with Kristina. "I think we're really over this time," Liv fretted, noting she called him "worse than Sonny." Brook was interested to hear that Johnny and Lulu used to be an item. Lulu noted she can't take Sonny's side after he shot Dante, and if Johnny makes Sonny crazy, then "more power to him." Brook Lynn visited Johnny to warn him not to hurt Kristina. Then she went to Carly and suggested that since Michael is out, Carly should just cut her a check for $10,000.
Patrick spent Father's Day in the park with Emma, missing Robin, who had to extend her stay in Africa. When Lisa and Steve came by, Patrick mentioned that Noah is with Doctors Without Borders. They offered to spend some time with Patrick — but not right now, since they left. Later, at G.H., a construction worker was brought in with major injuries, and Patrick balked at letting Steve scrub in with him and Lisa.
Tracy introduced Luke to her attorney, who produced a court order awarding Tracy control of The Haunted Star. Luke tore pages out of a ledger, and then proposed to her, but she threw him out.
Michael's family welcomed him home, but he couldn't stay, since he has to bunk with Dante. Meanwhile, Dante explained to Sonny that Michael has to wear an ankle monitor, do community service, live with Dante — and avoid Sonny. "I'm not losing Michael," Sonny declared. Dante said Judge Carroll considers Sonny a bad influence. However, since visiting won't send Michael back to the big house, Sonny resolved to visit him. Dante urged Sonny to leave the kid alone, and "acknowledge that you messed up your kids." Sonny insisted, "I'm trying to do the best I can as a father." Later, Alexis visited Sonny, who said it was tough hearing everyone call him a bad dad. He asked if Kristina is still seeing Johnny. Alexis said Krissy is merely acting out, and she will handle it, "without violence." Michael urged Kristina to forgive Sonny, but she refused, noting she's dating Johnny now. Carly was saying that Jax will still adopt Morgan when Dante arrived to pick up Michael. Carly thanked Dante for getting Michael sprung, but eyed him suspiciously. When Michael arrived at the loft, Dante happened to approach him from behind, and Michael freaked. Alexis visited Johnny to warn him to leave Kristina out of his war against Sonny. On cue, Kristina arrived, and told her not to bother asking Johnny to leave her alone. When Michael asked for a beer, Dante pointed out that all alcohol is forbidden, and warned that if Michael screws up, he goes back to prison. On cue, Sonny arrived: "I'm here to welcome you home, son."
Tuesday
Patrick and Steve bickered over the patient — until Patrick punched him out! Steve leaped to his feet and declared, "Drake just bought himself a suspension!" Nikolas backed Steve's declaration, and then asked asked Steve to caution Elizabeth about risking all her cash on that pharmaceuticals investment. Later, Lisa found Patrick getting drunk at Jake's. He claimed he hit Steve for endangering a patient. He further noted she teases him about settling down. She pointed out that drink ruined Noah's career, and Patrick is following in daddy's footsteps. After she left Luke came in, and Patrick groused about how Lisa didn't back him up. Then Luke revealed Tracy hates him because their marriage was a scam. Luke insisted he loved being "married" to Tracy. Patrick called Robin the only one for him, but she left for Africa, so he wonders why he and Emma are not enough for Robin. "When did I become the good guy?" he marveled. Luke advised Patrick to indulge his wild side.
Maxie limped through the police station on crutches (she tripped off a curb), and showed Lucky Franco's corpse photo. Maxie wished she could go back in time to the day before Franco showed up and made her screw up with Spinelli. Lucky said sometimes the only way to show your love is to let go. When Claire arrived, Maxie shared her intel. Lucky added that Franco wanted to prove he's better than Jason at murder. Claire summoned Ronnie, who advised her to just watch Jason. She wondered how Frano could get to a guy in prison. Alexis asked Johnny to stay away from a defiant Kristina, who cited Alexis' poor taste in men. Alexis urged her not to make the same mistakes. Krissy silenced Johnny, and coached him on what to say. He told Alexis he won't pursue Kristina, but if she pursues him, well, that's her choice. Alexis scolded him for provoking a mob war in which Krissy could get hurt, just like Michael.
Brook Lynn wanted $10,000 in "severance pay" since Carly won't need her to break up Date and Lulu anymore. Carly said the deal is still on. At the loft, Michael embraced Sonny. Dante wanted to rush Sonny away, but Sonny insisted, "I don't care about the law." (Yeah, we know, Sonny.) Lulu advised Michael not to listen to Sonny, then left. Sonny insisted he wants to be a father to both boys. Dante sauggested Sonny prove it by leaving. Michael agreed it might be best if Sonny stayed away. Sonny thanked Dante for being a man of his word and getting Michael sprung. Michael insisted he loves his father, and that won't change. Sonny yelled at Dante for not trying to see him in a good light. "I'm never gonna stop loving my children, and whether you like or or not, that includes you" Sonny sneered, and stormed out. Later, Lulu visited Carly and asked her to speak to Sonny about steering clear of Michael.
Brook Lynn drove to Johnny's in the rain, and then cried car trouble. He got her some dry clothes and she inquired about Olivia, noting that women from Bensonhurt have hearts, too. Sonny ran into Olivia on the waterfront, and confided that he fears losing his children. Later, at the loft, Dante and Michael made up the sofa. Dante said Sonny's deeds matter, not his words. Michael reminisced about Sonny taking him and Morgan fishing, but admitted he's seen things he wishes he hadn't. Michael said he used to be jealous that Dante would usurp his place in Sonny's organization, but Dante promised he's not interested in succeeding Sonny. Michael pointed out all men are good and evil: even Dante. Sonny asked Liv, "What am I doing wrong?" She had no answers for him, but hoped he can figure it out.
Wednesday
Epiphany was griping to Lisa about the chaos that Patrick's suspension is causing to operation scheduling when he strolled in, ready to work as usual. Steve appeared, and insisted that Patrick leave, because he really is suspended. "You're an idiot," Patrick fumed as he left, suggesting that patients will suffer. Patrick stormed off, and Lisa followed him to the docks. She offered to talk to Steve for him. Lisa returned to G.H. -- and praised Steve for suspending Patrick.
Lucky discovered a hungover Luke asleep on his couch. "Hi, roomie!" Luke beamed. He's moving in, after Tracy kicked him out over the marriage scam. Luke was incredulous, insisting legal papers have nothing to do with love. Maya summoned Ethan to the Quartermaine mansion to deal with Tracy, who was out-of-control with rage over Luke's scam. Ethan admitted that Luke had conned her, but Luke fell for her! Still, she refused to take him back. Lucky whipped up some eggs, which Luke ate loudly and sloppily while boasting that Spanky will take him back. Ethan arrived, reporting that Tracy never wants to see Luke again. Lucky encouraged his father to come up with some new moves -- like honestly telling Tracy he loves her.
Nikolas brought Shirley flowers and mentioned Emily facing cancer with good humor. Elizabeth was suspicious of Nik's intentions for the flowers, and left in disgust. Nik admitted to Shirley he's made a lot f mistakes, but he hopes to make it right for the baby. Liz caught up with him and said that if she wants to invest in the biotech company, that's her business.
Claire arrived at Dante's loft at the crack of dawn to ask Michael's help with Franco. Dante revealed that Franco sent him a photo, and Claire mentioned Maxie's photo. Claire wanted to know all about Carter -- but a defensive Michael simply called Carter "a sick freak who's dead now." At Pentonville, Diane told Jason it doesn't look like he's getting out anytime soon, but she's keeping up the pressure. Jason took solace that he kept Michael safe. Later, Diane met Max at the pier; he invited her back to his place, but she insisted they go to hers, because she has some new lingerie. Later on the pier, Sam mentioned to Alexis she noticed Johnny with Kristina, but she's sure he's only trying to get Sonny's goat. Sam suggested Jason can get through to Johnny. Later, Carly visited Pentonville and got weepy as she told Jason about Michael's coming-home party, and still wants revenge on Dante. Later, Alexis showed up in that busy Pentonville visiting room to ask Jason to tell Johnny to steer clear of Krissy. Jason doesn't see Johnny as a sexual threat to Kristina, but Alexis worried about her daughter getting caught in the crossfire between Sonny and Johnny. At that moment, Kristina met Johnny on the docks. He told her he was worried about her getting caught in the crossfire. Krissy pleaded with him to go along with her plan, leaning close and putting her hand on his leg. Just then, Sam showed up, and demanded to know what was going on. (Apparently Sam forgot how she jumped to all the wrong conclusions about Ethan...) Michael visited Carly, who was ecstatic to see her son. He worried about Sonny -- and noted that Kristina holds a mean grudge. As Michael took hold of Josslyn, a familiar-looking manila envelope fell to the floor. Carly opened it to find another morbid photo from Franco. Back at PCPD, Dante confided in Claire that he knows how to draw Franco out: Get Jason out of Pentonville and use him as bait.
Thursday
Luke insisted to his sons that Tracy is the only woman for him. Lucky advised his dad to try sincerity. Then Maya arrived in answer to Luke's summons. He asked her to get him into the Quartermaine mansion. She balked, but Luke insisted he is really in love. Later, at the Q manse, Tracy was discussing firing Alice when Luke burst in (wearing a coat and tie!). She dialed the police. "I love you," he declared, and proposed to her again. She tried to ignore him as he insisted they "fit" together like "poker and chips." Then the police arrived and took Luke away. Back at Lucky's, Maya suggested that Luke move into Ethan's penthouse. Ethan distracted her by inviting her for drinks. She begged off, and went to report to the hospital. Ethan confided to his brother that Maya thinks he owns Johnny's penthouse. Later, at PCPD, Lucky told a handcuffed Luke that Tracy is pressing charges.
Michael advised Carly that Franco isn't really after Josslyn, he's just trying to get a rise out of Jason. She summoned Jax, and showed him the photos. When she mentioned that Franco showed up in Josslyn's christening photos, Jax was incensed that she kept that a secret. At PCPD, Claire balked at springing Jason, even to bring in Franco. Later, Claire and Dante arrived at Carly's in answer to Jax's summons. Dante said he has a way to fight Franco, but Claire needs to agree to it. After they left, Jax arranged for everyone to have bodyguards. Carly thanked him, and he appreciated her calling him instead of Jason.
At Pentonville, Jason assured Alexis that Johnny won't listen to his advice to back off Kristina, instead advising her to try to get through to Krissy. Alexis praised Jason for going to jail for Michael, but pointed out it has also been hard on Sam. At the pier, Johnny told Sam he wants to provoke Sonny. Sam advised her sister not to make her decisions based on what will anger Sonny the most. On cue, Sonny arrived and ordered Krissy to leave with him, but she refused, noting that therapy taught her that talking is a waste. Sam pleaded with her, so Kristina agreed and left with her father. Later, Johnny visited Jason, who said Johnny may not intend to hurt Kristina, but she is suffering anyway. Johnny said he's happy to help Kristina get out from under her father's thumb. Jason pointed out that if Johnny kills Sonny, Kristina may feel responsible, and she will never get over it. Jason called Sam, who teased him about being in a bubblebath -- while he stood among a crowd of cons. He promised that when he gets out, they will go away together. Sonny brought Kristina to the restaurant, where he reiterated that Johnny is only using her to get to him. She wondered why he thinks everything is about him. Sonny ordered her to stay away from Johnny, and they got into a screaming match. "I'll have sex with him if I want," she shouted. He screamed back. "What are you gonna do now, Dad, hit me? Do it!" she spat. That froze Sonny. He said he's never hit her and never will, and he won't let Johnny hurt her. Alexis arrived, in answer to Sonny's call, and he immediately pressed her to back him. Faced with a united front, Krissy swore to defy them, and stormed out. Alexis scolded Sonny for putting her on the spot. And what's more, drawing a line in the sand doesn't work. Later, Johnny found Krissy sobbing outside his penthouse. She talked about growing up jealous of her brothers being raised by Sonny. She felt like Sonny had rejected her. Now she sees him for what he really is: "a violent abuser." She added, "Nothing would make me happier than to see my dad lose everything that matters to him." Meanwhile, Sonny gave Max and Milo orders -- and a warning that nothing be traced back to him. At PCPD, Claire told Dante she got the okay to release Jason into his custody.
Friday
Sam soaked in a bubble bath as she spoke to Jason on the phone. Sam started talking dirty to the prisoner, which Jason enjoyed. They then discussed what they'll do together once he gets out of jail.
At his penthouse, Johnny talked to Kristina and tried to convince her that she shouldn't carry around so much hate, and said that due to their charade, Johnny felt like he was using her. He then said they had to stop, and was concerned she was becoming a little like Claudia. Just then, Ethan arrived. Johnny asked Ethan to talk some sense into Krissy.
At the restaurant, Sonny instructed Max and Milo to take care of Johnny once and for all. Max told Sonny to keep in mind that Anthony would retaliate if anything were to happen to Johnny. Sonny insisted that he knew what he was doing. Later, Sonny went to see Jason and told him he was planning to take out Johnny, and Jason needed to take out Anthony, as well. Jason was reluctant, stating if he got caught, he'd be stuck in Pentonville for the rest of his life.
Carly told Jax about the photo from Franco, and said she knows that Jax will keep their family safe. Jax asked Carly if she hated him for the role he played in Michael's incarceration. She admitted that she's still angry with him, but she's also mad at herself for the role she played. And, she stated that she still cares for him. That news made Jax very happy.
Dante was reluctant to agree to Claire's terms about Jason's release (i.e. that if Jason fled, Dante would take his place in Pentonville). Dante went back to the loft to see Lulu, and he told her that Franco was back. He then instructed her to take extra precautions. As they kissed, Michael accidentally interrupted. Michael felt bad but Dante and Lulu told him not to. They then discussed Franco and Dante mentioned that Jason could be released into his custody, but Dante wasn't sure if he wanted to accept the responsibility that came with it. Lulu agreed that Dante can't trust Jason not to flee. Michael was uncertain. Dante then said he needed to talk to Claire.
On the docks, Olivia informed Brook about her breakup with Johnny. Brook said she was sorry. Liv stated that things were great until Claudia's death and the role Sonny played in it. Olivia then opened up to Brook about Johnny's troubled history.
As Ethan walked Kristina home, he warned her that she's playing a dangerous game with Sonny and someone is going to end up dead.
Claire went to see Johnny and asked for his help in busting Sonny. After their discussion, Olivia went to Johnny's and pulled him into a kiss. Before he could say "What the...?" she whispered, "Don't say anything," and they kissed passionately. As the made love, Kristina walked in.
Dante went to Claire and said he'd cooperate for the sake of the greater good. Dante then went to Pentonville and gave Jason the terms of his temporary release.
At the loft, Michael practiced self defense and Brook Lynn dropped by. Brook offered to make Michael a home-cooked meal. Michael mentioned that he's happy to be out, but he missed Jason and his dad. Lulu eavesdropped as Brook speculated about Dante and Sonny getting closer.
Sonny went to see Luke and warned him to keep Ethan away from Johnny, "at all costs."
