Monday

On the docks, Sam ran into Elizabeth and Cameron. They spotted the burning ship in the harbor. Sam told Liz she'd look into the explosion.

On the docks, Spinelli was arrested by the feds for "reasons of national security." A furious Maxie chewed out Mac for Spinelli's arrest but he stated that he didn't have anything to do with it. "Do not get involved," he warned her. Just then, Maxie saw Winifred and claimed that she's the one responsible. Spinelli was brought in for questioning, then Maxie slapped Winifred. Spinelli was accused of hacking into government computers and charged with high treason and espionage. Winifred told Maxie that she has
regrets about turning in Spinelli but he needs someone to broker a deal for him or else he's headed to prison.

At the waterfront, Sonny and Claudia watched as a Zacchara ship blew up. Jason arrived on the scene and claimed responsibility. He pointed out that he had the ship evacuated first. Sonny told Jason they need to compromise, as no one needs a mob war. Claudia accused Jason of being at fault. "Watch your back," Sonny warned his former friend. Sonny and Claudia left, just as Sam arrived. Maxie called Sam and told her Spinelli needs Jason's help right away. Sam gave the phone to Jason, who said he'd be right there.

Jax and Carly separately asked their attorney's to drag out their divorce proceedings. He returned to Metro Court, where he found Carly having a drink with Diane. Carly confessed that she asked Diane to drag out the divorce. Jax countered that he still loves Carly. She then vowed that she wouldn't screw up this one last chance. He then admitted that he, too, asked Alexis to drag out their divorce. The couple bantered and then embraced.

In Washington, Nadine and Nikolas testified before a Senate committee regarding Nadine's patent. The committee leader questioned Nik's motives, since he's a foreign national and not a U.S. citizen. After a short break, testimony resumed and the committee head expressed concern that they'd sell the patent on the open market to the highest bidder. Nadine had an outburst
and interrupted the proceedings. Nadine then gave a passionate speech about her friend who died in Iraq and the rights of Americans. The committee leader was touched and announced that Equinox was not entitled to hold on to the patent. Nikolas and Nadine rejoiced, then she got a call stating that someone from the White House wanted to speak to her.

Tracy went to The Haunted Star and chastised Luke for tapping into her back account over the weekend. The pair then argued over the mob war going on. Luke assured his wife that he was not getting involved in any of Sonny's battles. Tracy told Luke he'd better not get killed because he's the best time she has ever had. Then, they kissed.

Back at the house, Sonny told Claudia not to interfere between him and Jason. Claudia warned Sonny that Anthony will be out for blood for the lost shipment. "You're going to have to take Jason down," she warned him. She then stated that Sonny knows what he has to do.

On the docks, Lucky caught up to Liz and Cameron and they enjoyed watching the boast in the harbor.

Jason arrived at the PCPD, where Diane told him, "It's bad." As Spinelli was put into a holding cell, Agency Rayner called Jason in to talk. There, he said that Spinelli's life will be ruined if Jason doesn't do everything they say.

Tuesday

On the private plane ride home from Washington, Nadine was on cloud nine over winning back the patent rights from Equinox. "Those big bullies have officially been stopped," she beamed. Nikolas wondered aloud if Nadine might even be offered a job with the new administration. Nadine scoffed, then asked Nik if she'd accompany him to the upcoming hospital benefit. At first,
he declined, stating that it fell on Emily's birthday. Nikolas later changed his mind and agreed to escort her. Nadine was thrilled.

At PCPD, Maxie reassured Spinelli that he'd be released from jail soon. She also apologized for the mean things she'd said about him regarding Winifred. Spinelli said she was only speaking the truth.

In the interrogation room, Agent Rayner threatened Jason, saying that unless he turned Sonny and Anthony into the feds, Spinelli would be going to prison for life. Jason tried cutting a deal, stating that he'd go to jail instead, or he'd turn over Anthony solo, but Rayner pointed out that Jason is in no position to negotiate. Just then, as Spinelli was about to be transferred, Rayner and Jason came out of the interrogation room and Rayner announced
that Spinelli was free to go.

Patrick was startled to come home to find Emma crying and Robin ignoring her. After he calmed the baby, Patrick suggested that they talk to someone about Robin's behavior. Robin denied there was any problem. She stated that she was just trying to deal with her newfound motherhood. When Patrick wouldn't drop the issue, Robin stated that there was something wrong: their apartment was too small and they needed to move. She claimed claustrophobia
was kicking in. Patrick thought the argument made sense and apologized for hovering. They kissed and made up and agreed to go house-hunting. Robin found a place she loved on the Internet — and it was right around the corner from Liz. They agreed that if they liked the place, they'd make an offer.

Anthony arrived at Sonny's, furious that Claudia was interfering in his plan to get Johnny back. He then berated Sonny for losing the last shipment to Jason. "Retaliate!' Anthony ordered. "You have to kill Morgan!" After reviewing Sonny's track record since taking over, an irate Anthony accused him of sabotage. Sonny told Anthony to go home and tend to his garden. "We're not done!" Anthony barked as he was escorted out. "You played that perfectly," remarked Claudia. "I'm not playing," Sonny countered. Claudia told Sonny that Anthony was testing him and if he passed, he could write his own ticket.

On the docks, Carly ran into Lucky, who was boat watching with Elizabeth and Cameron. An elated Carly gave Lucky cookies for the boy. Liz was surprised o see Carly in such a good mood. Lucky pointed out that Carly and Jax were on the verge of reconciling. Sam came upon the group and asked Lucky if he could be of any help to Spinelli. Lucky said it was out of his jurisdiction but he'd look into it. Elizabeth noticed tension between the pair.

Maxie brought Spinelli back to her place, where he lamented about placing Jason in legal jeopardy. He stated that he should have listened to her warnings about Winifred. Maxie admitted that Winifred made her jealous. Spinelli replied that what's passed is past. Sam then stopped in for the latest and the pair announced that Jason saved Spinelli. However, Spinelli wondered aloud what Jason had to do to get him released. Sam looked apprehensive.

Jason went to Carly and asked her to set up a meeting between him and Sonny that night. Carly told Jason that she wished she could help but if she cancels on Jax tonight, it will mean the end of her marriage. Jason said fine and left. Jax arrived as Jason walked out and asked what happened. "I chose you," Carly replied. "My life is about us now." Jax couldn't help but smile. He told Carly that deed meant a lot to him. Then, she couldn't help but smile.

Diane went to Rayner and wanted to know what he was up to. He instructed Diane to tell her client to do the right thing.... Jason showed up at Sonny's and Sonny told Jason that this was the second mistake he made today. Jason advised Sonny to step down because if he didn't, "I can't save you — and I don't owe it to you to protect you any more."

Wednesday

Alexis went to see Carly to talk about Jax and was surprised to find Jax as there. An embarrassed Alexis apologized for interfering and left. Jax suggested that they let Alexis and Diane rack up the billable hours delaying the divorce while he and Carly got reacquainted again. Carly enthusiastically backed his idea.

Robin and Patrick went to look at the house they'd seen on the Internet. Robin was over the moon about it and called it the answer to their prayers. Patrick was a little wary of her enthusiasm. They checked out the rest of the place, made an offer and made it official. Elizabeth stopped by after seeing their car in the driveway and was thrilled about having new neighbors.

Claudia watched Jerry's latest DVD and went searching for the next clue. As she looked under Sonny's bed, Kate walked in and asked what she was doing. Kate pointed out that this was Sonny's bedroom, not hers, and she was going to inform him about her snooping. Kate advised Claudia to get used to her being around, as she's still a part of Sonny's life. Claudia countered by pointing out that she's Sonny's wife, which makes Kate his mistress and second to the wife. Kate thanked Claudia for explaining mob rules and left. Claudia then located the next DVD and went downstairs to watch it.

Jason returned home after being all night and Spinelli asked him what he had to do to secure his release from jail. "We are not discussing it," Jason huffed. He told Spinelli that he was a great friend and apologized for placing him in harm's way. "No more talk about business and no more questions," Jason insisted.

As Maxie and Lulu fought over the rent, Johnny offered to chip in but Lulu refused. Lulu went to Carly and borrowed the money from her. Meanwhile, Johnny went to G.H. to apply for an orderly job. Epiphany gently pointed out that with his lack of experience and education, she couldn't hire him. Johnny was dejected.

Lucky went to Sam's and was unsympathetic to Spinelli's plight. Sam told Lucky she was applying for her P.I. license and he was miffed that she hadn't discussed the idea with him first. Sam was insulted, especially when Lucky asked if her duties would include hot tubbing with the likes of Jerry. Sam was furious. Alexis arrived and interrupted the argument and Lucky stormed out. Sam vented to her mother saying that she wasn't going to change for any man and Alexis agreed with her.

Spinelli went to Sonny's. He wasn't there but he did catch Claudia about to watch Jerry's DVD. She freaked out but then apologized. He asked Claudia to have Sonny call him, then left.

Carly showed up at Jason's and caught him throwing an object across the room. She apologized for not helping him last night and he said she did the right thing by not getting involved. She reminded him that Michael's benefit was coming up, and that she loved him. Jason then got a mysterious call.

Spinelli went to see Maxie and expressed his fear about Jason's predicament with the feds. She advised him to follow Jason's orders and stay out of it.

Lulu called the hospital and found out that Johnny didn't get the job but when he came home, he lied and said he did. Lulu played along.... Kate spied on Claudia through the window and saw Jerry's image on Claudia's laptop.... Liz gave Robin a pep talk on parenthood, saying "Emma loves you whether your house is clean or not." Robin remained convinced that moving will solve all
her problems.... Rayner showed up at Jason's and ordered him to find out who hijacked an Equinox shipment. "Your methods are up to you," he stated.

Thursday

Spinelli met with Sonny and told him about his brush with the FBI and how all the charges miraculously disappeared after Jason met with the lead agent. Sonny told Spinelli that he should have honored Jason's wishes and kept his mouth shut.

At the penthouse, Maxie thanked Jason for getting Spinelli out of jail but asked Stone Cold not to cut The Jackal off. She then asked about the deal Jason made with the feds. He replied, "None of your business." Jason advised Maxie to just be calm and keep an eye on Spinelli to make she he doesn't do anything rash.

At Metro Court, Jax and Carly inched closer toward reconciliation. Carly was willing not to meet with Sonny about Michael's benefit if Jax was uncomfortable with it but he said he wasn't.

Elizabeth offered to help Robin get settled at her and Patrick's new house. Robin snapped at Liz when she mentioned the word "overwhelmed." Robin then made a quick exit when Emma started to cry, asking a baffled Elizabeth to feed the baby.

As Maxie barked orders at Clarice, Matt arrived at Crimson and asked Maxie out on a date, refusing to take no for an answer. Maxie was not impressed at his jabs about her relationship with Spinelli. Just then, Spinelli arrived.

When Patrick went to go home to help Robin unpack, Epiphany was worried about him not being able to get back to the hospital with the impending blizzard. When she saw how worried he seemed, Epiphany told Patrick to go home and she'd call if he was needed.

Claudia searched Sonny's house for another one of Jerry's DVDs, unaware it's actually hiding in plain sight. Then, Carly arrived and caught Claudia on her laptop. Carly wanted to know where Max and Milo were and she and Claudia butted heads. When Sonny arrived, Claudia announced that Carly was there to get back together with him. Carly told Sonny that she wasn't in the mood for a fight. Sonny barked that Carly could come and go as she pleases, as she's a part of his life. Claudia accused Carly of being loyal to Jason, not Sonny, and left. Carly pointed out that the benefit would be a good chance for the men to work out their differences.

Robin went to the penthouse and questioned Jason what it was like when Carly suffered from postpartum depression. Jason recalled how Carly was unable to touch Michael when he was first born. Jason was reassuring to her but Robin denied that she had any problem when he asked.

Patrick arrived home, surprised to find the house in such great shape and Elizabeth there. He was suspicious when she told him Robin had to run some errands, and concerned when Liz relayed that Robin left when Emma started crying. Liz advised Patrick not to hover or jump to any conclusions. As they discussed her behavior, Robin entered and heard them talking about her. She
was not pleased.

Sonny showed up at Jason's and asked him, point blank, if he made a deal with the Feds.

Friday

Today's episode began with Patrick reflecting on dire events that passed. He was distraught as he answered an investigator's questions. Reflecting on the events leading up to this....

Robin announced that she was home, as Patrick and Elizabeth discussed her behavior with Emma. Robin was shocked at how much unpacking Liz got done. She even left dinner in the oven. Once Liz left, Robin told Patrick to back off. She explained that she had quizzed Jason about Carly's postpartum but assured that wasn't the case with her. Robin scoffed at Patrick's' suggestion that she see a shrink, then apologized. Robin pointed out that she's not the perfect mom like Liz. Then, Patrick took a picture of Robin
and the baby, but Robin didn't smile.

At Crimson, Maxie told Matt he'd be the last man on Earth she'd date. After he left, Spinelli grilled Maxie on whether or not she liked him. Maxie reiterated that Spinelli is the top man in her life. Later, Spinelli caught Maxie flirting on the phone. Afterward, she told Spinelli that it was just business and he has nothing to worry about.

Sonny confronted Jason about turning him into the feds, and asked if compromising himself was worth it to save Spinelli. Jason pointed out Sonny's predicament was of his own making. Sonny stated that he's just getting started with the Zaccharas so he's not stepping down. "If you stay, I cannot help you anymore," Jason stressed. Sonny said they needed to do what they needed to do, then left.

Alexis discussed the Washington hearing regarding Equinox with Nikolas. He remained nonplussed. Nik admitted that he likes Nadine but it's not love. He admitted that he's still in love with Emily and can't move on. He said he was grateful to Nadine for helping him move on but doubted that he could ever love like that again. He also pointed out that it's Em's birthday today and he can't get her off his mind. Alexis suggested that Nik tell Nadine how he feels. Just then, Nadine showed up, saying, "We are going to have the best afternoon." Alexis left the two of them alone. Nikolas asked for a rain check and said he'd meet her at the hospital benefit.

As Claudia watched Jerry's latest DVD, he said the next one was hidden somewhere in the study. Ric arrived and wondered why Claudia was acting so nervous. Later, Ric was checking out Sonny's CDs and Claudia flipped out, but then covered. Just then, Anthony arrived and asked what was going on. Anthony chastised Claudia and Ric for fooling around. Ric spoke up in Claudia's defense but Anthony didn't want to hear it. Then, Sonny arrived
and he and Anthony quibbled over Johnny. Anthony said that Sonny's retaliation plan against Jason was taking to long, so he made some moves of his own. Sonny placated Anthony, who then left with Ric. Sonny was still suspicious of Claudia.

At G.H., Elizabeth took on another shift, and bantered with Matt and Epiphany about the oncoming blizzard. Matt stated that he like splaying top surgeon in Patrick's absence. Meanwhile, Patrick left Robin and Emma to return to work. They kissed and acknowledged how blessed they are.

Sam went to Jason and wanted to know what deal he had to cut to get Spinelli out of jail. She offered her services to help. Sam then realized that the feds want Jason to take down Sonny.
