GH Week of December 27, 2010

Monday

At the Quartermaine mansion, Edward told Lila's photo that she would have loved Luke and Tracy's wedding. Just then, Jason and Michael entered from the patio. Edward and Jason both expressed regret over what has happened to Michael over the years. However, Michael absolved them both and said he was taking responsibility for the decisions he makes from now on. Edward then offered Michael a future with ELQ but Michael held off for the time being. After the men returned to the reception, Edward pulled Maya and Ethan aside and informed them he's in the market for an ELQ heir. Maya was hesitant, but Ethan liked the idea.

In Lila's rose garden, Sonny asked Brenda to marry him. Brenda's heart said one thing but her head said another. Sonny assured her they could have it all. He added that after all these years, he's still never let her go. Brenda was afraid that if she committed to Sonny that somehow she'd lose him. Eventually, Brenda said yes, and an elated Sonny kissed her.

Back in the mansion, guests danced, and Mac and Alexis raised eyebrows with their tango. "We did it!" Luke told his new bride." Alice joined the couple for a toast. Nikolas was impressed with how Brook Lynn handled Tracy. In the study, Carly was beside herself with glee after learning from Spinelli that Brenda and Dante had a child together. Carly wondered what happened to the child. Just then, Jax entered and asked what the pair was talking about. Carly covered with a lie. Surprise!

At her office, Diane made plans to see Max but was interrupted by Theo. They discussed the Port Charles nightlife, which Theo dismissed. However, he smiled and said that he wouldn't think of leaving town right now. Diane briefed Theo on their biggest clients, Sonny and Jason. After Diane briefed him, Theo stated he was looking forward to meeting Brenda and Dante to discuss the wrongful death lawsuit.

Sonny and Brenda returned to the reception and Brenda ended up catching Tracy's bouquet. Sonny announced their engagement to a stunned crowd. Tracy quietly accused them of trying to steal her thunder; Luke congratulated the new happy couple. Jason wondered why Spinelli was there. As Brook Lynn thanked Luke for making her grandmother so happy, Tracy warned Nik to terminate his arrangement with her granddaughter.

Back at the loft, Dante fell fast asleep while Lulu was discussing the wedding. Dante dreamed he told Brenda he loved her and he wanted to raise the baby together. Brenda agreed. Dante woke up with a start... Jason insisted that Brenda remain at the penthouse for her own protection... Carly headed to Sonny's to break her news... During their first dance alone, Tracy pulled the pre-nup from Luke's pocket. She looked at it, looked at him, threw it into the fire and kissed him.. Theo arrived at the penthouse to meet with Brenda.

Tuesday

Dante woke up from dreaming of Brenda. Lulu questioned him about it and Dante made up a story. Lulu didn’t quite believe Dante’s convoluted version, but they snuggled anyway.

At the penthouse, Theo introduced himself to Brenda. He told her that her prospects looked bleak, but he stressed that he was sympathetic to her plight in the wrongful death suit. Just then, Jason arrived and cut the meeting short.

At Casa de Corinthos, Carly tried to tell Sonny that marrying Brenda was a mistake. Sonny replied that if Carly interfered with his impending marriage, she’d be sorry. “You’re the one who’s going to be sorry,” Carly huffed on her way out.

Lisa showed up at Johnny’s penthouse to examine his gunshot wound. Lisa left him with some meds. Johnny flirted with Lisa, then passed out. As she searched for any evidence he had against her, a drugged Johnny — who held the syringe in his hand — reminded Lisa they were partners, whether she liked it or not.

Spinelli caught Diane writing pages of a novel and was elated at her passion. Spinelli then wanted to confess about the info he’d uncovered about Brenda, but kept mum. Just then, Claire showed up to discuss joining Diane’s firm. Claire mentioned wanting a job before she was shuffled off to Alaska by her bosses. Diane suggested that Claire move on. Claire then went to talk to Sonny. Claire insisted she was cool with everything, but pondered if she should stay in town or go. Sonny apologized for their timing. “Don’t speak,” smiled Claire.

Michael chatted with Sonny about his wedding logistics, then told Kristina and Molly about Sonny and Brenda’s wedding news. They were elated to have such a big star in the family.

Dante met with Brenda to discuss the baby. Dante expressed his regret over what happened with Michael going to prison. They talked about telling Sonny about the baby and Dante congratulated Brenda on her engagement... Spinelli implored Carly to back off, but you can imagine how that went... Lulu wondered how Dante felt about Brenda’s engagement to Sonny... Theo ordered round-the-clock surveillance on Brenda... Carly pondered when to reveal Brenda’s secret to get the maximum effect.

Wednesday

Elizabeth discussed Christmas with Robin and Patrick. Robin shared that she allowed Patrick to move back in during the holidays. Steven showed up and Liz discussed that he's taking Cameron on the hospital ski trip. Maxie arrived to get on the bus — along with Matt. Patrick agreed to look after Matt's patients so his brother could go on the trip.

At Metro Court, Carly offered to relieve Olivia of her New Year's Eve party planning if she would go on the ski trip in Carly's place. Liv was hesitant but Carly loaded up on the perks. Carly then admitted that she needed to spend some quality time with Jax; Liv agreed. Carly then told Jax they had two whole days to themselves.

Theo showed up at the PCPD to interrogate Lucky in the wrongful death lawsuit and asked to see what they had on The Balkan. Theo also asked about Ronan O'Reilly and Jerry Jacks.

Jason continued to inquire why Spinelli showed up at Luke and Tracy's wedding. Jason then mentioned he's suspicious of Siobhan. Lucky arrived and told Jason about his meeting with Theo. Jason stressed that Brenda cannot testify in this case. Jason then questioned Lucky about Siobhan's relationship with Jerry. Jason believed Jerry was still alive.

Ethan warned Johnny that Lisa is a psycho. Just then, Lisa showed up to check on Johnny. Ethan warned Lisa not to try anything funny with him or Johnny — or else. Lisa asked Johnny for the syringe back so they could call off their arrangement. Johnny chuckled at her suggestion.

Michael met up with Abby and they decided to go to dinner. Kristina and Molly showed up and Michael announced he was backing out of the ski trip. Kristina was upset and told Michael that Ali was going to hang out with him. Abby encouraged Michael to attend and said they could get together when he returned. "Promise me you'll have fun," Abby smiled.

At the hospital, Steven was delighted to learn Olivia was going on the ski trip. Alexis embarrassed Molly by bringing her the long underwear she'd forgotten. Michael showed up and his sibs were thrilled he'd changed his mind. Ali stressed to Michael that she only liked him as a friend.

Theo bumped into Alexis and invited her to lunch. Theo then went on to pump her for information about Sonny.

On the bus, the driver told Steven they were making good time. Olivia pulled out Steven's guitar to "tempt" him. Maxie told Matt that she was having fun. Olivia convinced Steven to sing them all a song. Soon, the entire bus joined in. Morgan called Carly to check in. Suddenly, the driver lost control of the bus. Carly heard screams, then lost Morgan's call. She told Jason that she thought the bus might have crashed. Afterward, bodies littered the snowy mountain after the bus did indeed crash.
