Monday
Carly told Kate not to interfere in her marriage to Jax, and warned her that she was coming after her. Meanwhile, Sonny insisted to Jason that he was working with Karpov in order to protect Jason. Jason suggested that Sonny missed the business, and reminded him that he could take it back whenever he wanted. Sonny was insulted that Jason didn't have faith in him, and Jason snapped back that he would have expected Sonny to tell him as soon as Karpov approached him.
Lulu confessed to Johnny that she'd "seen" Logan. Johnny assured her that it was normal after what she'd been through. He thought she was experiencing post-traumatic stress syndrome. Lulu continued to blame herself. Lourdes interrupted saying that Sal needed Johnny, and Lulu told him to go. When Johnny came back, Lulu was gone.
Robin expressed her concern that Noah was simply a rebound for Anna. Anna shared that she felt she'd always wanted Noah but was detoured by Eli. Robin thought that was convenient. Meanwhile, Noah told Patrick to just admit what he thought about his relationship with Anna. Patrick feared that Noah wouldn't be able to handle Anna, and he expressed concern for Noah's sobriety. Noah told him that his sobriety was his concern, not Patrick's. Patrick agreed, and much to Noah's surprise, didn't continue to press the issue.
Sam interrupted Nikolas and Kate's conversation. She congratulated Kate on her engagement, and Kate excused herself. Sam told Nikolas that she suspected Jerry was behind the counterfeit drugs. They discussed their concern over Alexis' involvement with Jerry. While Nik felt that Sam's info was simply speculation, she reminded him that Nik himself had been drugged by Jerry, so it wasn't a far stretch to think he was involved in this. She started telling him about more proof against Jerry when Scott approached them. He let them know that Lulu has been added to the FBI's active list as Johnny's accomplice.
Cody brought Jason pictures of Karpov entering Sonny's house. He told Jason he had been there twice that he knew of. Jason wondered if Cody would be able to set up a hit, or if he would be able to do something more dangerous without going back to drugs. When Cody assured him his drug problem was not an issue, Jason offered him a job. Cody thanked him, and headed over to see Bernie. Alone, Jason looked at the pictures.
Kate asked Sonny why Jason had been there. She suspected Jason wanted him to come back to the business. Sonny insisted that was not the case. He simply said Jason didn't know him as well as he thought he did, and assured her he was done with the business. Meanwhile, Jason told Carly that he thought Sonny was back in the business. She quickly pointed out that that meant he was working against Jason.
Maxie questioned Leyla about Spinelli. She wanted to be sure that Leyla didn't hurt him. Leyla assured Maxie that she wasn't actively courting Spinelli and rushed out. Nadine sneaked into Matt's room, but quickly hid when he came home. Matt headed to the shower, and when he got out, Maxie appeared at his door, demanding to know who he thought he was eating her lunch.
Tuesday
Maxie and Matt sparred over stolen food and Matt's partial nudity. "Nobody really wants you here," Maxie sniped, very astutely. Nadine tried to remain hidden but Maxie spotted her and pulled her out — much to Matt's surprise!
Nadine trumped up an excuse about replacing Matt's shirt and needing to check his size. Maxie didn't buy it. Clearly Matt had snuck home for "my cheese enchilada and a quickie!" Matt interrupted Maxie calling Mac and claiming the unruly tenant been having loud sex in the house (LOL!) and assured her he'd find out what Nadine was really doing there. He tracked Nadine down to do just that. Nadine told him she wanted "in on the action." "Sure, no problem, Nancy Drew," cracked Matt, not buying it and accusing her of setting him up. After Nikolas defused the showdown, Nadine assured him she's not giving up. Back at Mac's, Maxie wanted Spinelli to dig up dirt on Matt but he tried to distance her due to his "secret pain." Maxie offered to help him with his "Russian mob stuff" so he could help her with Doc Hunter.
Johnny paced nervously as he worried about Lulu, who had snuck into Shadybrook to visit Laura (not Genie Francis yet; don't worry). At Nik's clinic, Sam and Nikolas tried to get Scott to call off the dogs. "All you want is vengeance," Nik told Scotty. As Johnny maintained their cover for Sal in NYC, Lulu told Laura she feared she's turning into her. Back in Port Chuck, Sam and Nikolas made the not at ALL apt Luke/Laura/Scotty is Johnny/Lulu/Logan comparison and Scotty prickled. Back at the loony farm, Lulu told Laura how loose cannon Logan had been a safe choice compared to Johnny. "And that's why he's dead," she cried, talking about the night Logan died and how she'd defended herself. Naturally, Scotty showed up to visit. Don't worry, he didn't see Lulu. He did, however, tell Laura he'd seen Serena (yay!). Back at the Clinic o' Cluelessness, Nikolas caught Lucky up on things and worried about Lulu on the run. In the Big Apple, lovestruck Lourdes offered to get Johnny away, claiming Lulu had clearly run to the cops. Back at Shadybrook, Lucky and Nikolas pulled Scott out of Laura's room. Snark and whipping out of credentials ensued. Lucky's were bigger, so Scotty left. Lulu's return interrupted Lourdes' attempts to hit on Johnny. A relieved Lulu assured Johnny that she was feeling much saner.
Jason told Carly about Sonny's dealings with Karpov and asked for her sage advice on all things Sonny. (No, seriously!) Jason couldn't understand why Sonny went behind his back. Carly cited it as part of Sonny's pattern in the wake of Michael's coma and noted Jason had to treat Sonny like a
threat: "Sonny's not like you; he doesn't respect boundaries!" Jason shot back that her advice meant Sonny needed to be "eliminated." Carly didn't much care. She didn't want to lose Jason and suggested he tell Sonny that he should back off from Karpov or Jason would tell Kate. Jason didn't like that option. "You don't owe Sonny anything," Carly told Jason. Later, Diane showed up to warn Jason that Karpov wanted to drive him out of business and he couldn't protect Sonny. Over at Crimson, Kate got a visitor: Carly. They went the obligatory rounds. "You both can go straight to hell," Carly said of Kate and Sonny. Back at the coffeehouse, Diane and Sasha stepped out so Karpov and Jason could chat. Jason laid out his terms and Karpov accepted, with an ominous warning.
Wednesday
Sonny summoned Claudia, demanding to know if she narced on him to Jason about Karpov. "My brother's a fugitive," Claudia reminded, not having time for his nonsense. Of course, Kate interrupted. Claudia warned smug Kate to be prepared for mob threats, as "old habits die hard." Sonny assured Kate he wants a life with her. Meanwhile, Rick visited Jason at the coffeehouse on the pretense of Johnny/Lulu business. It was really to warn him about Anthony running amuck and to twist the knife about Sonny's betrayal. Jason didn't buy all the false sympathy. Over at the Metro Court, Carly and Anthony had a "pleasant" chat about Johnny and Lulu's predicament. Later, at that very bar, Kate confronted Claudia about her trying to "pull Sonny back into the Mob." Claudia's arched eyebrow broadcasted a clear "LOL! You are so naïve!" At the coffeehouse, Jason told Carly about how Johnny getting hurt could lead to a potential mess with Karpov. The Russian in question met with Sonny on the docks. They did business-like things as Claudia and Kate sparred. "He's borderline psycho," Claudia warned Kate of her fiancé. When Kate stormed off, Claudia told Rick he owed her. Jason told Carly there was nothing to worry about, but she didn't buy it. She arranged for Karpov to get a nice bottle of vodka and meet her for drinks. Nervous Spinelli returned to the coffeehouse, where Jason wondered why he was "twitching." Jackal confessed Maxie now knew about Karpov. Jason was not pleased. Claudia caught Ric up on the latest Karpov dealings and Ric knew "we'd be a good team." Elsewhere, Kate told Sonny that she's terrified for their future but she believed in him. "We're cool," she assured. Back at the coffeehouse, Spinelli's search turned up dire news about Karpov: His lady friends tended to turn up dead. Naturally, Carly was, at that very moment, flirting with the guy.
Maxie showed up at GH and asked Elizabeth to page Matt, which just devolved into a roommate rant. "You're going to have to handle this yourself," Liz snapped, eliciting a Lucky/Maxie dig in return. On the docks, Lucky and Sam staged some sniping and then Lucky told his gal he's worried about her. When a dockworker came by, Sam slapped Lucky and railed at him for harassing her. "Be careful," he muttered. Meanwhile, Maxie offered Spinelli her help with his Jackal duties and Spin told her "Stone Cold would be most displeased" by her involvement. Kate interrupted them, going all Bridezilla, and Maxie deftly handled her temper. Back on the docks, Sam eyed some fallen boxes with suspicion and a dock thug told her to "leave it!" Then, Jerry strolled up, wondering what "Sweet Sam" was up to.
In NYC, lovers-on-the-run Johnny and Lulu reveled in their AWOL-ness but there was an ominous pounding on the door from the cops, who burst in.
Turns out, they were looking for Sal! Even more luckily, the cops were called to 5th and Broadway (two streets that do NOT intersect). Home at the Quartermaine manse, Tracy tried to track down Luke, to no avail. Then, Scotty showed up demanding Lulu's location. As he railed about Logan's murder, Anthony wheeled in. This did not improve matters...although Tracy and Anthony did get their flirt on. Scott spit out some more threats and when he left, Tracy's flirty façade dropped. Anthony warned the Qs he'd tear the town apart "brick by brick" if John came to harm because of Lulu. Speaking of them, Lulu was worried about Lourdes' crush on her guy. He kissed the fears away. Later, Lulu awoke to the sound of piano playing...and it was ghoulish Logan tinkling the ivories.
Thursday
Kate expressed her fears about losing Sonny, but he promised her they were going to make it. She worried about Claudia, but Sonny insisted she shouldn't. He was about to leave for a meeting when Kate stopped him to ask a few questions about the wedding plans. They spent time reminiscing and discussing their upcoming ceremony.
Lulu "saw" Logan playing the piano. She told him she was sorry, and he started pounding on the keyboard. Johnny came in and Logan disappeared. A very panicked Lulu told him what she had seen, and said she thought she was going crazy like her mother. He continued to insist that she was just traumatized. He also pointed out that they weren't their parents. They were interrupted by Sal, who asked if they could take care of Lourdes for awhile. He needed to lay low because of the shooting. They agreed, but once he was gone, Johnny suggested they leave. Lulu didn't think it was a good idea. Suddenly, Lourdes appeared, telling Johnny she'd heard they would be spending the next few days together. Johnny and Lulu told her that she should stay in her own apartment; she could be in danger because of them. Lourdes left, clearly disappointed, but she did ask that Johnny check on her at night before she went to bed. He agreed, and Lulu pointed out that she would probably do her best to seduce him. Johnny assured her that when he went to check on Lourdes, Lulu would be at his side. Johnny went to put away groceries, and Lulu immediately "saw" Logan again.
Jerry and Sam questioned each other about why they were at the docks. Soon they were sniping back and forth. At the clinic, Nikolas found Nadine snooping. She stopped a patient on the way out and tried to check out the drugs Matt had given her. Matt came out and sent the patient on her way, and threatened to get a restraining order against Nadine. After he walked away, Nik told Nadine she had to back off. Lucky arrived looking for Sam. She walked in soon after, convinced that Jerry was involved in the drug ring. While Nadine listened from the door, Lucky pointed out that they needed proof in order to arrest him. Sam questioned if they should investigate Matt — Nadine was suspicious of him. Nik wondered where she had gone. Meanwhile, Nadine was down by the docks. Matt jumped out from the shadows and grabbed her, saying it would be the last time she followed him.
Carly wondered if Karpov was interested in her because of her ties to Sonny, but he claimed that was not the case. Karpov suggested they go somewhere else to talk, and she agreed, leaving with him. Spinelli and Jason researched Karpov. Spinelli wanted Jason to send him out into the field, but Jason insisted he did his best work at the computer. Maxie barged in, and shortly after, the hotel manager came by to tell Jason that Carly left Metro Court with Karpov. Jason left to find her. Spinelli expressed his sorrow to Maxie that Jason only saw him as a computer whiz. Maxie told him there was nothing lacking about him at all. At his warehouse, Carly questioned Karpov seductively. He was about to try and kiss her when Jason showed up with a gun, and told him that Carly was off-limits. After he left, Jason yelled at Carly for getting involved. Carly revealed that she'd taken Karpov's PDA.
Down at the docks, Sonny found that Sasha was there to meet the shipment, not Karpov. Sasha questioned Sonny's intentions, and Sonny said he simply wanted to be sure that Karpov didn't go near his former organization. He told her to remind Karpov that if he messed with Jason, their deal was off. Sasha wondered why Sonny was trying to take down the man who took away his organization. Sonny told her Jason didn't take anything from him; they made a deal. When the first boxes came off the boat, Sonny had one opened. He found drugs, much to Sasha's chagrin.
Friday
In NY, Lulu kept having visions of Logan but pretended to Johnny that she was fine. Guess what, it was her birthday! Johnny was so thankful she'd been born that he rhapsodized about her wonderfulness. He asked about her
favorite birthday memories and then turned on a waltz so he and Lulu could dance around the apartment like it was Wyndemere. But the celebration quickly went south as Lulu hallucinated Zombie Logan holding a candlelit birthday cake!
Jason flipped out at Carly cozying up to Karpov while, on the docks, Karpov and Sonny did some flipping out of their own over the issue of moving drugs. Jason appreciated having Karpov's PDA, but not so much Carly's methods. "Talking to you is like talking to a wall," he sighed. Meanwhile, Sonny came home and found Kate with a bouquet (okay, several). He suggested they elope but she wanted the big ol' wedding. Back at the coffeehouse, Maxie said Jason would just be a hunky Frankenstein without Spinelli's brains. She insisted guys like Spin were better than Jason and Johnny. When Carly and Jason returned, Jason dismissed Maxie, who said, "Forget it!" If Carly stayed, she stayed! At Sonny's, Kate asked for help picking bouquets and he said all he'd see was her face. Aw! A grim Mike interrupted. Carly snarkily
showed Maxie "how to bow out gracefully" so the boys could talk. Jason handed Karpov's PDA to Spinelli. He found a meeting scheduled at Pier 52. Back on the docks, Jerry met with the Russian in question. Mike told Sonny that Karpov's men had threatened him and Sonny explained the tangled Karpov mess. Mike made the apt addiction analogy to the recovering mobster. Meanwhile, Jason realized Carly had left quietly to head to Pier 52! Maxie caught up with Spinelli, who wanted to sneakily return Karpov's PDA in order to prove himself. Later, Karpov warned Sonny things were "far from over." On the docks, Sasha caught Spinelli poking around and Maxie burst in to rescue her "boyfriend." Nearby, Jason caught Carly poking around and Claudia
sauntered up. She spotted a gun and they all ducked...as Jerry pulled the trigger.
Lucky, Sam, and Nikolas convened at the clinic and Nikolas wondered where Nadine was. That would be the docks, where Matt told the plucky detective she was ruining HIS investigation. As things got tense, gun totin' Claudia
came to Nadine's rescue. Nadine didn't appreciate the heroics. Back at the clinic, Nik told Sam that Nadine suspected Matt was involved in the smuggling. Sam thought it was a sound theory but also pegged Jerry. Right on cue, Jerry arrived with cryptic info. Nikolas growled at Jerry
(understandably) for trying to suck up to him. Nik, Sam, and Lucky then analyzed Jerry's motives. An arguing Claudia and Nadine appeared and Sam and Lucky snuck off to check out the alley where Nadine had been. "She's got it bad for you," Claudia told Nikolas of Nadine. They then discussed Johnny and Lulu. Nadine rushed into GH and asked an amused Leyla to join "Nurses With Borders" with her. Chagrined Nady Drew filled Leyla in on the botched Matt investigation...as Matt walked up. In the alley, Lucky cited Nadine's crush on Nikolas as a bad basis for her suspicion of Matt. Sam disagreed — and then found a clear path to Pier 52! At GH, Matt and Nadine got all snarky (and it was kind of hot). "Sooner or later, you will get caught!" warned
Nadine. Leyla assured Nadine she'd done nothing wrong and she left, determined to lambast Nik for doubting her. Nikolas told Claudia he feared Lulu would turn out like Laura. They bonded over being older siblings and agreed to share info. Later, at Wyndemere, Nadine ranted at an uncomprehending Nikolas for being so well, Nikolas-like. Then she pounced on him, kissing him passionately.
