GH Week of August 10, 2009
Monday
At the lake house, Kiefer exploded in front of Molly and broke a glass object. He then covered and said he was just worried about Kristina. Just then, Alexis walked in and asked, "What's going on?" Kiefer smoothly apologized for breaking the glass. He told Molly that he wouldn't worry about "K" if she wouldn't, then left. Alexis gave Molly a big hug. Alexis assured her daughter that despite the murder accusation she's facing, she was innocent. Molly worried what would happen to her if Kristina never came home and Alexis went to jail. Alexis calmed her daughter.
Outside Jerry's apartment in Mexico, Jerry nabbed Sam before she could enter and held her at gunpoint. Jerry then took Sam to an abandoned church. Sam said Jerry wouldn't hurt two kids but Jerry assured her that he'd cover his tracks. Jerry noticed Sam had Jason on her speed dial and asked if they were going to get back together. Sam's attempt to escape proved futile. Jerry then had Sam call Jason and give him her location. She shouted, "It's Jerry!" into the phone before Jerry grabbed it away from her. "The game is only beginning," Jerry grinned. Jerry then threw Sam into a room with a bed and a fireplace and teased her that the room was prepared to match her "talents."
At her apartment, Olivia beseeched Dominic to leave the Corinthos organization. She stated that she was fearful of Dominic's cover being blown. "It's a little late for you to decide you don't want me to be a cop!" he shouted. Just then, Sonny showed up. Dom ducked out the window and Olivia let Sonny in. "Where is he?" Sonny asked. Sonny meant Johnny, which relieved Olivia. Sonny wanted to know why Olivia told Dominic at Kelly's to stay away from him. Olivia barked that she didn't want to watch another young man flush his life down the toilet with a life of organized crime. She ordered Sonny to get out and Sonny complied.
In the apartment, Kristina liked the idea of them getting jobs at a resort in Cancun. Michael, however, was suspicious of Jerry's motives for helping them. Michael stated that he had a memory of Jerry by his bedside during his coma. The kids compared notes about what their parents have said about Jerry in the past. Kristina stuck up for him but Michael suggested that they strike out on their own. "Who are you going to trust?" Michael asked his sis. "Jerry or me?" Kristina wrote Jerry a note as Michael packed a bag. A bodyguard, however, refused to let the kids leave.
At the Scorpio house, Spinelli knelt before Mac to ask for Maxie's hand in marriage. Mac said absolutely not, which infuriated Maxie. She did not like the idea of Mac running her life. Mac pointed out that Spinelli works for an organized crime syndicate and is a danger to her. Maxie told Spinelli that if he has a question for her, he should ask her directly. Lulu tried to point out that Maxie was getting carried away, to no avail. As everyone chimed in, Maxie told Spinelli to ask her again. Spinelli got down on one knee and proposed ... and Maxie said yes. Patrick tried to calm Mac down. As they gang argued, Patrick asked, "How about dinner?" When Spinelli took the ring from Maxie to place on her finger, Mac pulled out handcuffs and threatened to arrest Spinelli. It didn't matter, as Spinelli slipped the ring onto Maxie's finger. Patrick and Robin pulled Mac out of the room. Alone, Spinelli thanked Maxie for sticking up for him. When he hugged her, Maxie realized what she'd just done.
Dominic went to Sonny's house and met with Claudia. He said he was sorry for her loss. Johnny entered and Dom apologized to him for walking in on John and Olivia earlier. When Claudia called Liv a slut, Dom replied, "What'd you just say?" Dominic stuck up for Olivia but then backed off. As they three argued about Olivia, Sonny entered. The guys said a Zacchara shipment was coming in tonight. Sonny sent the two to go make sure everything ran smoothly. At the docks, Johnny and Dominic intercepted the drop and claimed the shipment in Sonny's name. When the cops came, Dominic told Johnny to flee while he took the rap. Lucky arrived and busted Dominic.
Nikolas joined Elizabeth at Kelly's, where he apologized for flirting with her at Jake's the other night. He admitted that he likes Liz a little more than he should. Liz stated that she didn't want a few drunken kisses to ruin years of friendship. Nik agreed, kissed her on the cheek and left.
Sonny apologized to Claudia for the way he treated her during her pregnancy. He offered to cook dinner for her. Claudia was touched.
As Jason arrived at the church, a strange man entered the room where Sam was handcuffed to a bed and stated, "You better be worth what I paid Jerry for you."
Tuesday
Spinelli was ecstatic when Maxie accepted his marriage proposal, even though Maxie immediately deferred on a wedding date. Robin and Patrick offered their congratulations and pressed Maxie for a date. Robin then suggested that the reason why Maxie might want to get married is because she's pregnant, prompting Spinelli to faint. Spinelli recovered and Maxie assured him that she is not with child. Afterward, Patrick and Robin discussed Maxie's situation with Emma. Robin thought Maxie and Spinelli were perfect for each other and hoped that Emma would find a nice guy like him. Patrick agreed but was hoping that Emma's future suitor would be, "less weird."
At the warehouse, Johnny hid while Dominic took the rap with the cops for the drug shipment. Lucky arrested Dominic and took him into custody.
In Mexico, Michael tried to convince Kristina that they were being held hostage. "Why would Jerry do that?" she asked. "We're trapped," Michael stated, stressing that they needed to escape before Jerry returned. Michael realized there was only one guard and he started to plan their getaway. Later, Krissy started screaming. Michael pounced on the guard when he came in and Michael shouted for Kristina to run.
At the abandoned church, Jason arrived and had a shoot out with Jerry. Jason demanded to know where Sam was, but naturally, Jerry wouldn't give up any details. Jason managed to sneak up behind Jerry and get the upper hand on him. Jerry got away as gunshots rang out. The two men struggled and a portion of the church came tumbling down on top of them.
Kate visited Olivia's apartment and because Liv was cleaning so intently, Kate realized that she had just had a fight with Sonny. "Sonny is making his way back into your life," Kate warned her cousin, "And sooner or later, you're going to have to tell him about Dante. "Leave it alone," Olivia shot back. Kate replied that she didn't want to argue. They then reminisced about their Coney Island days in their youth and Kate expressed regret for turning her back on her family.
At the PCPD, the ADA, Louise, believed that Alexis was guilty, as Diane spoke up in her friend's favor. Mac then shared the news of Spinelli's proposal; Diane was tickled. Just then, Johnny called and asked Diane to take on Dominic's case, as that's what Jason would have advised. Diane marched back into the squad room demanding Dom's release. In the interrogation room, Diane quizzed Dom about his activities but he wouldn't spill any details. Later, when Louise came to speak to him, he gave her a phone number to call. Later, Mac came in and called Dominic, "Detective Falconeri."
At the penthouse, Maxie and Spinelli agreed not to start wedding planning until Jason and Sam returned with the kids. Johnny entered looking for Jason and the couple broke the happy news. Johnny was surprised and asked when the big day was. "Soon," responded Spinelli. "Not for a while," blurted Maxie. When Kate learned of the engagement, she told Maxie that she planned to publicize the event in Crimson, and has even chosen a wedding date. Kate insisted that Spinelli get a makeover and Kate starting rattling off details regarding dates, dresses and locations. In order to call Kate off, Maxie said that they were getting married on September 21.
Patrick warned Robin to watch herself while investigating the Brianna Hughes murder.
Johnny showed up at Olivia's and pulled her into a passionate liplock. As they shared some wine, Johnny mentioned how Dominic took the rap for him, prompting Liv to spit out her drink.
Wednesday
At her apartment, Olivia covered for choking on her wine when Johnny mentioned Dominic getting arrested. Olivia stated that she just didn't want Johnny to see the same fate. Liv then told Johnny to take a shower while she ran to the store to get groceries to make him something to eat.
At the PCPD, Dominic told Mac and Louise now that they know he's a cop, he wants to be released. Diane entered and, citing that there was no search warrant, ordered Dominic's release. Lucky was furious, claiming that he went by the book, but Mac agreed to release Dominic.
In Mexico, Michael was losing his battle with the guard, but Kristina was able to run out the door. Suddenly, a fire alarm went off and Michael was able to run off during the chaos. In the street, Michael and Kristina reunited and planned their next move.
In the aftermath of the church ceiling collapse, Jerry found Jason trapped in the rubble. Jerry then saw Jason's gun on the ground. He picked it up and fired a shot. Jerry shot Jason in the clavicle. When Jerry asked if Jason had any final requests, Morgan responded that he wanted proof of Claudia's involvement in Michael's shooting. Jerry claimed it was an accident and declined to incriminate Claudia. Jason refused to accept Jerry's answer as the truth. Jerry then shot Jason in the leg and bid him farewell.
At The Haunted Star, Tracy showed up seeking Ethan's assistance. He thought it was about tracking down Luke but she stated she wanted information. "Tell me everything you know about Rebecca Shaw," Tracy demanded. Tracy and Ethan stared at Rebecca and Nikolas across the room, partaking in games of chance. Tracy suspected Ethan knew more about Rebecca than he was saying. Ethan hinted that Rebecca was more interested in the Cassadines than the Quartermaines. When Rebecca rebuffed Ethan's advance, he made a mysterious call. Later, Lucky showed up and Ethan said he had a confession to make.
Ethan informed Lucky all about Rebecca's plan and how they came to P.C. together to play a con game. Ethan stated it's now up to Lucky to warn Nik about Rebecca's true intentions.
At the penthouse, Maxie said she loved her ring and was honored Spinelli asked her to be his bride. Lulu arrived and apologized for telling Kate about the nups. Lulu then mentioned Kate still wants to chronicle the road to the wedding and ordered Lulu to assist Maxie in her plans. Spinelli said he planned to asked Stone Cold to be his best man and assumed that Lulu would be Maxie's maid of honor. "But she can't stand me," Lulu shot back. Maxie agreed to have Lulu stand up for her.
Olivia showed up at the PCPD to spy on Dominic, saying she was checking on a parking ticket. When Dom was released, he stormed past her. Olivia then followed him out. After, Diane called Johnny and informed him that despite Dominic's lack of cooperation, he had been released.... At the local Laundromat, Dominic met with his contact, Ronnie, to discuss the arrest. Suddenly, Olivia burst in and told Dom it was time for him to return to Brooklyn. Ronnie advised mother and son to keep it down and left. Olivia ordered her son to drop this case but he refused. Olivia returned home with a bag of groceries, stating that she was delayed because she had to go to three different stores. Johnny relayed that he spoke to Diane and Dominic had been released. Olivia pulled Johnny into an embrace and held him tight. They kissed, and fell onto the sofa. Afterward, Johnny mentioned to a silent Olivia that now he feels like he can trust Dominic. Back at the Laundromat, Ronnie told Dom to get his mother out of their investigation. Dominic assured that Olivia would protect her son to the death.
At Wyndemere, Nikolas admitted he hid Rebecca's phone, knowing that Edward would be calling to check up on her. Rebecca told Nik she wanted to be with him, and they kissed.
Thursday
At Wyndemere, Rebecca bid Nikolas a good morning after he finished his ride. Nik said he had something to ask her and she automatically said the answer was no. Rebecca stated that she knows Nik was going to ask her to move in with him and she asked him not to spoil their wonderful morning with an argument. Nikolas stated that he wanted to ask her to go on a trip to Greece
with him. "When do we go?" she asked. "Today," Nik replied. Rebecca got cold feet but Nik convinced her to go. Then, Nikolas brought Spencer in and introduced him to Rebecca. She asked Spencer if they could be friends. He nodded his head. Nikolas told Rebecca he'd waited to introduce them until he was sure that Rebecca wouldn't disappear out of his life. They hugged.
At the docks, Kiefer confronted Morgan and demanded to know where Michael and Kristina were. When Kiefer threatened him, Dominic showed up and scared the punk away.
Lucky stopped by Elizabeth's to get her opinion on what he should do about Rebecca. Liz sent Cameron off on a play date. Then, Lucky dropped the bomb that Rebecca was in town to bilk Emily's loved ones. Lucky revealed everything Ethan told him about Rebecca and their schemes. Liz was furious but Lucky was hesitant about telling Nik because he didn't want to cause his
brother more heartache. They discussed their options.
Olivia showed up at Carly's house. She asked Olivia to drive her to work. Carly insisted she'd be fine and was going stir crazy at the house. Olivia refused Carly's request, stating that Carly had to consider the baby over her own desires. Carly conceded and did some work from home. The women then chatted. Morgan came home with Dominic and told Carly how Dom saved him from a bullying Kiefer. Carly thanked Dominic, while Olivia played it cool. After Dom left, Carly told Olivia that she thinks Dominic is a decent guy.
Johnny visited Anthony in prison. Johnny asked his father if he was behind the dissension in Sonny's ranks. Anthony just laughed, then asked his son that when the hostile takeover does take place, "What side will you be on?" "I'll be whichever way the wind blows," Johnny smiled back.
Robin took Emma out for a walk and stopped at the Mayor's mansion, where she engaged a housekeeper in conversation. Later at G.H., Robin filled Patrick in about her talk with the Floyd's housekeeper, who relayed that the mayor asked Andrea for a divorce and she replied she'd rather see him ruined or dead. Patrick complimented Robin on her detective skills.
Johnny met with Spinelli and asked him to help take down Anthony once and for all. Johnny asked Spinelli to hack into the prison's computer and either have Anthony transferred or put into solitary confinement.
Olivia met with Dominic at the Laundromat and chastised him about his involvement with Carly. Dominic apologized for putting his mother in an awkward position with her friends but said he wasn't backing down. Meanwhile, Johnny stood outside watching their exchange. Later, he showed up at Olivia's place and demanded to know what she and Dominic were discussing so heatedly. Across town, Dominic showed up at Carly's, stating that Morgan had invited him to attend a Yankees game with him. Carly was hesitant.
As Nikolas was getting his flight plan, Lucky arrived and told him that Rebecca has been lying to him since they day they met. Lucky spilled about Rebecca's scam with Ethan. Meanwhile, Rebecca met with Liz and asked for a truce, as she was falling in love with Nikolas.
Friday
A guarded Elizabeth heard Rebecca out as she claimed to be falling in love with Nikolas. Liz was dubious. After their chat, Rebecca called Ethan to inform him of Nikolas' invitation to travel with him to Greece. In her message, she also declared her intent to come clean with Nikolas about everything.
Nikolas absorbed the news, delivered by Lucky, that Rebecca had been lying to him. Nikolas asked if she and Ethan were lovers. Lucky confirmed it. Nikolas was furious with himself for not having heeded his loved ones' warnings. Nik began to shut down emotionally and told Lucky to leave. Lucky went to the hospital and warned Liz about Nik's dark reaction. Liz told Lucky that she believed that Rebecca had fallen in love with Nikolas. Lucky sighed that he didn't think that would matter to Nik.... Rebecca showed up at Nikolas' and was met with an icy glare.
Johnny was suspicious in the wake of Olivia's intense conversation with Dominic. Olivia scrambled to cover but she succeeded in getting Johnny to soften. Johnny got summoned to work and left. Olivia called Dom's supervisor in the undercover unit and met up with Ronnie to demand that Dominic get reassigned. Dom went to Olivia to berate her for interfering with his work. Olivia refused to back down.
Jason regained consciousness in the wreckage but was seriously injured. He hallucinated that Michael was there. Next, he hallucinated that Kristina was there to take him to task for failing to protect Michael. Carly was his next imaginary visitor. Then Sam (the real one) penetrated his fevered state, assuring him that she wasn't going anywhere. She worked to free him from the debris pinning him down.
Morgan asked Carly if Dominic could take him to the baseball game. Jax arrived home and was introduced to Dominic as Morgan's would-be kidnapper. Jax canceled his meeting so that he could take Morgan to the game. Jax told Dominic to stay away from his family. After Dominic left, Carly and Jax snuggled and he copped to having cancelled his meeting to keep Dom away from Morgan. Dante then met up with Ronnie, who told him about the visit he'd received from Olivia. Dante was upset when he was told he was being reassigned.
Michael and Kristina worked at the boat shack and he tried to assure her that they wouldn't be caught. They both got homesick talking about their moms. Kristina fingered a photo of herself, Alexis and Molly and glanced over at the phone while a hottie patron asked Michael out to dinner. Michael smiled at the prospect of going on a date, then asked Kristina what he should do on one.
