GH Star Kirsten Storms Opens Up About Absence

Kirsten Storms, who has been on hiatus from her GH role, Maxie, addressed her absence in an Instagram response to a fan. “I try to keep my personal life private,” she wrote, “however I recently mentioned on my twitter that I suffer from SEVERE depression. If you or someone you know has dealt with it then you know it can be a difficult time in life. I’m doing much better of late and look forward to returning to work soon.” On screen, Maxie has been away in Portland, working and spending time with daughter Georgie.
