GH Recaps Week of October 1, 2007
Monday
Liz was angry that Lucky hired Alexis, while he took issue with her hiring Diane. At Wyndemere, Nikolas told Alfred he had no memory of attacking Logan. He also revealed he had blood work done, but it was negative. He told Alfred to keep his episodes secret from Emily. (Good plan — that always works!) Alfred pointed out how dangerous that could be and suggested checking into a Swiss clinic. Then Lucky arrived looking for Alexis, and Nik blew up at him. Nik was fed up with Lucky's whining and pointed out that Lucky gets "to get it on with Sam McCall." Nik stormed out then nearly collapsed. At GH, Kate had messed up the patient files, so Emily noticed that Robin ran a blood panel on Nik. Later, Alexis went to GH, where Liz told her Lucky and Sam are sleeping together; Alexis didn't know. Lucky saw them talking and thought that was a good thing, but Liz was angry. Lucky was angry Liz told Alexis about Sam. Diane arrived and warned Alexis this divorce will be ugly.
Trevor told Kate her career is over, and she said she's through with him.
Alexis and Diane butted heads at Sonny's cafe — much to the annoyance of Sonny, who threw Alexis out. Diane called Sonny a "self-centered ape" for interfering with her helping anyone else (Liz). Then she advised him to simply ignore Trevor. Speak of the devil, Trevor arrived with news that Warren fired Kate from Couture. Diane exploded, calling Trevor "evil." Trevor called them both "mentally unbalanced" and left. Diane vowed to put Trevor down like an animal. Later, Diane visited Kate to suggest she file a "messy" lawsuit against Trevor that will get her job back. Kate showed Diane a sketch of the designer original she promised, and said it's best not to sue Couture. Sonny summoned Jax and asked if he could help Kate. Jax said no, because Trevor has leverage on Warren. Later Sonny offered to help Kate in any way, but she resisted.
Carly was pretending to be Lulu to text Johnny using Leetspeak when Jax interrupted. At the penthouse, Lulu told Spinelli to let Logan stay — so she could punch him in the face and scold him for lying to her! He admitted lying, but not about his feelings for her. Then she threw him out. Carly told Jax she was texting contractors, but he was suspicious. Carly told him how she wants to help Lulu. Later, Carly was texting Johnny again when Lulu came by to report clashing with Logan. When Lulu admitted being happy that he cares enough to keep trying, Carly said that's not good, because she can't trust Logan. Carly pointed out that "saving" the bad boy is a full-time gig, but she needs to see men for who they are. Elsewhere, Spinelli was tracing Johnny's texts when Lulu arrived. She vowed never to fall in love again. Spinelli couldn't get a fix on Johnny, but traced the other end of the conversation to Carly. Meanwhile, Carly made a date with Johnny.
At Kelly's, Maxie sulked over losing Coop because of Logan. Georgie pointed out that was her fault. Logan arrived and Emily overheard him complain about being hit by Nikolas. Logan played the victim, but Maxie would have none of it. Logan accused Nik of having a screw loose. Lulu went to Kelly's, where she saw Logan. Then she thanked Maxie for exposing Logan as the pig he is.
Later, Emily met Jax at Metro Court to ask him to check with Jerry about possible side effects of the poison he used on Nik. At that moment, Nik walked in.
Tuesday
At the GH nurses' station, Epiphany ordered Robin to get over her breakup with Patrick. Robin confessed to Lainey that she misses Patrick and all the little things they did together. Lainey assured her he's hurting too. Robin added she cannot give up her dream of children, so she feels like a clich. Lainey reassured her and added, "Men are dogs." Scotty showed up to get his paternity-test results from Epiphany. At Metro Court, Nikolas was furious that Emily went behind his back, then told her and Jax about the blood tests and defended attacking Logan. Nik said Jerry told him there were no side effects of the poison, so Nik thinks he's just feeling stressed — but warned Em not to go behind his back again. Back at GH, Emily told Robin something is really wrong with Nik — and he's getting worse. Later, Nik asked Emily who left Metro Court first; he didn't remember. Finally, he admitted, "There's something really wrong with the anger and losing time."
Logan stopped Lulu from leaving Kelly's, and when Georgie defended Maxie, Logan got angry. Meanwhile, Carly arranged a meeting in the park with Johnny Z., who checked his gun.
Before she could leave, Tracy (and Alan) arrived to ask Carly to get Jason to evict Lulu. Tracy said Lulu is a lost little girl who needs a "family environment," which made Carly snort. Tracy yelled at Alan to shut up, prompting Carly to marvel that she's seeing dead people. Logan asked Lulu to team up against Maxie. When she asked if he slept with Maxie after sleeping with her, he didn't answer, so she said she can't trust him and sent him packing. He said he'd do anything to take it back. Lulu called the gloating
Maxie a self-destructive "skanky ho." Maxie charged that Lulu deserves a broken heart for coming on to Coop. Lulu pointed out Logan and Coop both hate Maxie, so who's the big loser? Maxie accused Lulu of thinking about forgiving Logan — and "fixing" him. But he'll hurt her again. At the penthouse, Spinelli revealed that Lulu is texting Johnny from Carly's phone. They were horrified when transcripts revealed "Lulu" agreeing to meet Johnny. Meanwhile, Carly told Tracy that Lulu can do what she wants, but agreed to talk to Lulu about it. Then, Jax returned home and Tracy made awkward remarks about Carly needing to go somewhere. Tracy appealed to Jax about Lulu — then shouted at Alan again. Carly told Jax she has an appointment with Dr. Lee and fled. Later, Scott called Kelly's searching for Logan; Lulu said she'd look for him. Spinelli realized Carly is masquerading as Lulu. Fearing for the Valkyrie's safety, he retrieved Jason's gun. Jax called Dr. Lee's office and discovered she doesn't have an appointment. When Spinelli called, Jax got concerned. Later, Logan arrived at Metro Court, where Scott wanted to read the paternity-test results together. Jax arrived at the penthouse, demanding to know why Spinelli was looking for Carly — and where is she? She's in the park, in the dark, where an angry Johnny Z. grabbed her and called her stupid for setting him up like this.
Sonny told Kate he understands being scared about trusting others, but asked her to trust him. "I won't fail you," he insisted. She got weepy and wondered, "Who am I?" He asked her to lean on him "just for tonight." Later, sitting on her bed (yes, not her couch, her bed!), Sonny offered to "just hold you." He pointed out there was a little Kate in Connie, and there's a lot of Connie in Kate. She smiled that the person who nows her best is "my guy from the neighborhood." They kissed and undressed each other, then made love.
Wednesday
Logan opened the paternity test results in the lobby of Metro Court. "Tough break, Dad," he said. "I'm your kid." He blasted Scott for abandoning the family and scoffed at his entreaties. Spotting Lulu, Logan figured she still cares about him. She asked, so he said Scott really is his father. Scott admitted he didn't read Logan's mother's letters, but they have to deal with each other now. Scott tried to fill Logan in on "his" family, but Logan wasn't interested. Later, he confided to Lulu that he was stunned Scott wanted to act like his father.
In the bedroom, Kate and Sonny snuggled in the afterglow and agreed it was better that he didn't "nail" her when they were younger. Then he got a text
threat: "Nanny got the phone cord. Who's gonna be next?" At the penthouse, Jax forced Spinelli to fill him in on Carly. In the park, Carly faced off with Johnny Z: Her mouth vs. his gun. After Jax went after Carly, Spinelli was summoned by Sonny. Jax arrived in the park and threatened Johnny, but the young thug's goons arrived and ushered him away. At Sonny's, Kate marveled at how quickly Sonny reverted back to business mode. Sonny accused Kate of running away whenever they get close. They were kissing when Spinelli interrupted. Meanwhile, Jax brought Carly home and scolded her for risking her life. She said she was seeking information about Leticia's killer and why Johnny is interested in Lulu. Jax said she should understand the appeal of bad boys, which angered her. Jax was furious that she didn't trust him to protect the family, but she refused to promise to stay away from Johnny. Meanwhile, Johnny went to Metro Court and asked Lulu to go for a boat ride (to Logan's chagrin). Trevor appeared and summoned Johnny to dinner, stunning Lulu. Sonny asked Spinelli to trace the texts for Johnny Zacchara's account. Jackal was already doing that and came up empty, but Sonny told him to keep trying. Carly still balked at moving in with Sonny. When Diane arrived she shooed Spinelli away and Sonny voiced his suspicion that Johnny killed Leticia, and maybe Daddy Z. is trying to cover up for his son. At MC, Trevor gave Johnny the lowdown on Sonny the boss and Jason the enforcer. He tried to send Johnny home, but the thug overturned a table and called Trevor a flunkie. Later, Trevor visited Carly and demanded to know if she had a meeting with Johnny, then ordered her to keep Lulu away from Johnny.
At GH, Nikolas revealed that he also lost time the night Carly's nanny was murdered. Emily suggested a CT scan and an MRI, and promised to deal with everything together. Later, Nik and Em had dinner at Metro Court, and he recalled sight-seeing in Paris. He asked her about her favorite memories and her ideas for a perfect party. "Nobody gets their heart broken and nobody dies," she quipped (seriously). She fondly recalled waltzing with the prince at the Bacchanalia. He suggested going back to the Windemere ballroom and dancing all night. Scott found Nik and announced he's filing assault charges on Logan's behalf for the beating Nik put on him. Em tried to defend Nik with words, then hauled off and slapped Scott.
In the park, Logan and Lulu bickered over Johnny and Maxie. He grabbed her bodily and said he won't let her walk out of his life. Johnny suddenly appeared behind Logan and held a gun to his back. "Yeah, you are...," he countered.
Thursday
Emily slapped Scott and challenged him to arrest her. Nikolas called her off, then challenged Scott to arrest him. Later, after an off-camera dinner, Nik and Em returned home, where they tried to puzzle out what's causing his rage. He feared he may have already gotten out of control and killed someone (Leticia), and was concerned about hurting Em. She was confident he wouldn't.
Skye was dressed to kill for dinner with Ric at Metro Court. Also in the dining room was a dolled-up Maxie, who met with Coop. They reminisced about the good 'ol days when he held her hostage there. Ric insisted Jason murdered Alcazar. Skye suggested an alliance — as long as he gives up his quest for revenge against Sonny and Jason. Maxie said Coop makes her feel safe. He admitted he misses what they had, but that was then. She wanted to start over. When he balked, she walked. Ric said he likes seeing Sonny and his father jousting over the same woman (Kate) and has no interest in getting involved. Later, Jerry met Alexis in the same dining room. Ric waltzed over and warned her not to represent Jerry because Ric doesn't want Jerry around Molly — or he'll sue for custody of his daughter again. That made Alexis so angry she agreed to represent Jerry. Later, Alexis went back to her place to discuss his case. Jerry asked her to have dinner with him (after all, she married his brother). She balked at mixing business with her personal life again, so he kissed her hand and left. Back in the dining room, Skye warned Ric not to challenge Alexis again. Trevor entered, so Skye stepped away. Trevor asked Ric to close the investigation into Leticia's murder, even if he has to frame someone...or there will be problems he can't handle. Skye secretly watched the encounter.
Earlier, Trevor had told Carly to keep Lulu away from Johnny. Suddenly, Jason arrived to warn Trevor away from her. "Anything you have to say, you can say it to me, or say it to Sonny," Jason suggested. Elsewhere, Johnny whirled and wrestled Logan's gun away. When it fell to the ground, Lulu grabbed it and broke up the fight. She pulled the ammo clip and gave it back to Johnny, then ordered him to leave. Back at the house, Carly told Trevor she has no control over Lulu. Trevor warned her Johnny is troubled and uncontrollable, then left. In the park, Logan and Lulu bickered over Johnny and his gun. Johnny, meanwhile, went to Metro Court, where Trevor ordered him to leave town. Of course, Johnny refused. After Carly filled in Jason on the drama with Johnny, Jason asked her to not make things worse. Lulu insisted she was not reconciling with Logan, but he was sure she still cares about him. She said she won't "save" him. When Logan returned home he found Maxie waiting at his front door. She recapped about Coop, then offered to sleep with Logan again. He (understandably) declined to sleep with "the bitch that ruined my life." For her part, Lulu went to Carly's and filled her in. Carly confessed to impersonating her. Lulu blasted her: "You betrayed me." Later, Georgie stopped by the penthouse, were Spinelli talked about tracing Johnny's texting records. When Jason returned home Spinelli told him about the text threat Sonny got. They fretted that Johnny could target Lulu. Lulu continued to passionately defend Johnny, but finally left. Once outside, she got a text from Johnny. She responded: "When and where?"
Friday
Nikolas asked Lucky if he's being fair to Elizabeth. Liz, meanwhile, told Emily she signed for the house this morning and is meeting with Diane about the divorce. Emily suggested there's a better way to handle the divorce — and so did Nik. They both independently pointed out Alexis' and Diane's highly prejudicial conflicts of interest. Later, after Robin snapped at Leyla, Emily told Robin about Nik's symptoms. At the police station, when a thug jumped a cop, Nik jumped him, and had to be pulled off the creep by Lucky.
Carly plied Spinelli with barbecue chips and orange soda and told him she needs his help to protect Lulu. She needs info on Trevor, who may be covering up Johnny's murder of Leticia. Spinelli saw a chance to sour Lulu on the Warped One, and agreed. At Sonny's place, he demanded Diane prove Trevor is tied to Zacchara. She said only Sonny can prove that, by using his mob connections. Sonny lamented that info wouldn't be admissible in court. Spinelli burst in with "disturbing" news about Carly: She's going after Trevor. At that moment, Trevor was meeting Alexis at Metro Court. He asked to see his granddaughter. Alexis agreed to lunch next week, and he left. Carly suddenly appeared and told Alexis she needs her help getting the goods on Zacchara, but Alexis balked. So Carly called Trevor's room.
Meanwhile, NIGHT SHIFT's Cody found himself brought to interrogation to meet with Lainey, who suggested they pin her father's death on crazy nurse Jolene. When an affectionate young couple came to the nurses' station, Dr. Lee scolded them for making out in front of her. Andy pulled her aside and they both admitted to struggling with their addictions. Later, Kelly suggested that after her 90 days of celibacy are up, they should have sex. But Andy wanted more than just sex. When Kelly checked with Leo after his check-up she suggested a cardio session to help him get his strength back, and kissed him. Elsewhere, Robin declined Lainey's invite to consult on Cody's case because she wants to avoid Patrick both personally and professionally. Later, Spinelli wanted to visit Jolene, but Epiphany said Jolene is still in a coma.
In the GH locker room, Robin told her mother she broke up with Patrick. On the other side of the lockers, Leo hobbled in (remember, he was shot on last night's NIGHT SHIFT) and invited Leyla to see blues band at Jake's. She declined, saying she "sort of" has a date with Patrick — as Robin eavesdropped. Later, Epiphany warned Leyla that if she clashes with Robin, it better not impact patient care. Emily found Liz in the locker room preparing to meet Diane. Lainey arrived and suggested a girls' night out.
Then she told Emily she saw Nik lay out a thug at PCPD. Meanwhile, in the park, Nik looked at his bloody knuckles in confusion. Back at GH, when Leyla tried to relay a message from a doctor, Robin laced into her for her arrogance, and Leyla countered that Robin shouldn't pick on her just because she broke up with her boyfriend. At the ER, Nik confessed he didn't know how he hurt his hand. When Diane met Alexis at Metro Court they traded compliments on hair and clothes. When Liz arrived Alexis told Liz not to contest Lucky's terms. Then Lucky walked in, and Diane asked him not to contest Liz's terms!
Carly welcomed Trevor into her home and suggested there's a way for them to help each other out. Suddenly Sonny burst in and demanded Trevor leave. Carly ordered Sonny to leave instead.
