Here's another goof...same story on two shows...GH & AMC doing the exact same story?? Are we sharing writers now?? The Emily/Rebecca and Babe/Marissa "twins with one kept and one sold" story is on both shows! Hasn't anyone noticed this?

Fortunately, I only watch GH. Having the same story on two soaps I was watching would be intolerable.

Perhaps TPTB figure if they make GH stupid and unrecognizable that the viewers will give up, the ratings will go further down, no reason to keep it on the air and it's not their fault it's ours for not watching. And as for dumbing-down it seems like most all programs feel that the intelligence of the american public is that of a mouse. I actually saw an update scroll across the screen today about everything turning to digital tomorrow and they kept repeating that if you couldn't get the channel DO NOT CALL 911" huh. sad, sad, sad.

Their the ones who seem dumb to me. If your going to work/ write on a show (thats what 35 40 years old) shouldn't you study the families, background & stories? There is nothing wrong with adding to the show, but don't change it so much that it's totally different. I'm mean Luke has the same face, but lately I don't know him at all. This is the first time in the history of Tony Geary being on this show that I'm glad he's going on vacation.

I think Luke's facing his own mortality & he's preoccupied with it. It makes some sense in that context. But, Lucky hasn't been behaving like Lucky for a lot longer & the excessive anger at his father is totally out of character. Disappointment & disillusionment? Sure. But, the anger is out of place. It's like the writers don't know what to do with the character, but because they know the audience loves Greg Vaughn, they just give him any stupid thing to do just for an excuse to put him on camera, even if it demeans the character. I truly hope the calm demeanor we saw when he was speaking to Ethan the other day is a return to the real Lucky Spencer & not just a one day event. If they intend to keep Ethan around, I'd like to see the brothers bond. Not the ooey, gooey bond that Lucky & Nik have, but sort of like Robert & Luke--rivals sometimes, friends at others, but always with mutual respect. I'm tired of them sniping at each other.

The Holiday Season, if they get together at all, should be very interesting at the Spencer's this year.

Yeah! Can you imagine all of them getting together for the holiday? Luke & all his chickadees plus "Spanky Buns." Oh, yes! Picture postcard perfect! Hopefully, if they really are brothers, Ethan & Lucky will have put all this stupidity behind them. I really would like to see them morph into something like the next generation Luke & Robert. It would lighten the character of Lucky up some & maybe even bring back happy, carefree Lucky.
