I did not realize the actor playing Fish is gay in real life. I read in Soap Opera Weekly that the woman that is playing his mother, is his mother and that he had a much easier time coming out to her in real life. I think that is great.

I read that article too. I think he knew someone who was in the same situation as Fish, and that he could relate to the story that way. It is cool that his real mom is playing is reel mom. Makes the dynamic very different if it were a total stranger.

The actor playing Fish, Scott Evans, is openly gay, the actor playing Kyle, Brett Claywell, is straight. This is from a more reputable site, and it was an interview with the the actors about Kish. If you google Scott Evans, lots of articles will pop up about his being openly gay.

Thank you. I thought that is what I read and that is what I took away from the article. I think that is great and am so impressed with him. He is a wonderful actor and I really have come to love Fish. It is amazing OLTL has these small parts and hire amazing actors and turn them into major characters. Marcie come to mind as someone who was suppose to come and go.

I am not sure if they addressed that Paul. I believe he may be but not totally sure.
