The Fan Den

GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Greg Vaughan (Lucky), Rick Hearst (soon-to-be-ex-Ric) and Ted King (ex-Alcazar) took a bite out of the Big Apple to meet an greet their New York (and adjacent) fans at the The Solas Bar in Manhattan, where a good time was had by all.Getting Lucky

“Instead of going to a local hotel as per usual, we went to this little bar/restaurant so it was really intimate,” noted Vaughan of the new venue. “The food was fantastic. The environment was great. I was really excited to be there.”Hang Time

“I truly felt like I was hanging out with friends,” reported Hearst. “When they are intimate like that, it allows me to take more time with people. Not that I don’t do that anyway, I just don’t leave at midnight that way. I am usually having to move quicker through meeting and greeting, because people are trying to catch planes! It was great fun to share and be candid with all my fans. They are always so real with me, and I appreciate their candor and honesty.”King Of The Hill

“Ah, New York City in the spring, there’s nothing like it,” smiled King. “Fans flew in from all over the U.S. to take advantage of the great weather and a great event. Everyone looked relaxed and comfortable as we swapped stories of early days in Manhattan, GENERAL HOSPITAL and my most recent work on prime-time.”
