Just when you thought that a character was beyond help, the writers make him worse. Sonny used to be punk, with occasional moments when he was human. Now he's just a murderer, don't care why, that will get away with it. Loved it when Jason told him to take a hike. And now that Olivia's in the hospital, her son will come to town, Sonny will find out who he is and once again, everyone will have "betrayed" Sonny. His arrogance and self-centeredness regarding the murder and his alibi was repulsive. He "thanks" Carly. How noble!!!
And Carly telling Jax that she was sorry, was just plain stupid. I hope that Sonny and Carly do end up together, because that way some other poor character won't have to deal with either them.
Let's get some storylines for some really deserving characters. The Q's are always fun and GH is about a hospital and there is a wealth of talent in the hospital staff.
Other story lines are never completed or filled out and the characters are left to languish or just disappear. Pretty soon GH won't be able to hire anyone new because their reputation for not using people will catch up with them.
Quote:I agree, knowing Sonny & Jason are involved in mob activites was one thing, but having a front row seat to seeing them partake in this violence is bad. Understanding what their life choice's are & how it relates to everyday life, their family's, etc is about all I needed to know or see.Sonny is a Mobster. Let him leave the room when he needs to partake in his business transactions, we know what he's doing, don't need graphic details to reinforce it. I started to have an intense dislike for the mob storyline when Alcazar was supposedly murdered by Jason, while Skye sat upstairs rocking her baby. Then we've got Michael being shot at the coffee factory, Kate at the church, Mike being beat up & Kelly's burnt to the ground, etc The only reason the soap still has the word hospital in it's title is that's were everyone ends up after associating with Sonny. How do the writers plan on redeeming either Sonny or Jason now that they've jumped this shark? As strange as it may sound, I liked seeing Sonny get his hands dirty. It's time the show stopped pretending that Sonny is not a criminal merely because he commits his crimes offscreen. Ordering somebody else to kill makes Sonny just as culpable as the trigger man. Sonny is in a dirty business, and subsequently, his hands are dirty.
