Quote:the final joke....B&B best drama...what an absolute crock!!!! TOTALLY agree on all points! was sad to endure their win. what a joke.. and then to NOT see any tribute to either legend, and yet to have to endure CHEECH AND CHONG!!! what a slap in the faces to all the hard working people of daytime
Michael Park said it best.....hope none of you have to go thru what we have.....BEING CANCELLED. They all better be nervous.
I agree with you both but I gotta say it was 10x better than what we watched on the CW last year. At least Brad Bell's speech got to be heard this time. They definitely should be ashamed of themselves for not doing the tributes to Frances Reid and Helen Wagner and I would have liked the ATWT tribute to be a little more and for the cast to have been on stage.
I wonder if Maria POO POO wrote this tragedy of an awards show. while it was so much better than last years, it needed more.. and yes.. they better start to worry. he did say itbest!

I didn't see last years. The only reason I watched tonight was in hopes of seeing a PROPER farewell to ATWT. Alex you are right, CBS should have flown the entire cast there to be on stage. Especially Eileen Fulton and Don Hastings.

what an absolute embarrassment this was for Daytime TV. Why not just call it "An infomercial for Vegas" I love Dick Clark but this was not the show for his tribute......when they announced the nominees there were no clips of their performances, insulting. Rushed their acceptance speeches BUT had time for Lion King, Circue De Solei or whatever you call it. There was NO mention of Frances Reid or Helen Wagner. My God, these women dedicated their lives to Daytime TV. AND the biggest insult.....that PATHETIC so called tribute to As The World Turns. the only thing they got right was the Agnes Nixon award. Way to go CBS, you are determined to kill this genre you rotten network.
