Not for this viewer. Not when Kendall's the only one who got an actual reprimand from a judge and community service. Not when Greenlee was handed a PERFECT opportunity to tell the judge, "Of COURSE Kendall thought I would kidnap Spike, I'd already DONE it once."Instead she made a plea for mercy for Kendall and tried to play the victim- AGAIN - like she did through the entire story. I was sickened by Greenlee's actions initially, but even moreso by her behavior AFTER she almost killed Spike. It was NEVER about her horrible betrayal, it was always about how mean, bad, Kendall and Zach wouldn't forgive her. Greenlee's self-involvment then and now disgusts me.And when the writers had her actually make that comment - "Do the crime, do the time" with seemingly NO awareness of her own history, it proved conclusively that the writers just don't get it - and neither does Greenlee, their little princess.Whitewash doesn't make the stink of selfish hypocrisy go away, no matter how hard they try.

Hypocricy? You could be talking about Kendall, Zach or Greenlee. You know what?I never liked Greenlee until AFTER Zach killed her children. I had always been a Kendall fan. The only thing that made me like Greenlee was the way Zach had never paid for what he had done to her. Zach killed her children and then he tried tricked her into thinking that they were still alive somewhere and wanted JR to use them tp blackmail her. It was already disgusting what they had Zach do and then they made it worse. And yet again, Zach never had to face up to it in a court of law.

Not for nothing, I don't understand how some of the same posters who feel that Zach should be in jail and suffering for the crimes he committed..in this case TO Greenlee..are posting in other threads that Zach and Greenlee have just adorable chemistry and should be the next supercouple.
That to me makes NO sense at all.
ROTFLMAO! It's Greenlee's fault because Zach stood in the road and just watched and waited as Ritchies car came at him? THAT is hilarious! My GRANDMOTHER could have moved out of the way in time.
BTW, I said that Zach should have had to face a judge the way Greenlee did. I'm sure Greenlee would have urged the judge to be lenient and IMO that would have been enough. Instead AMC gave Zach a free pass and he never had to face a judge for what he had done and that is what I find disgraceful. I don't think it fits the crime but even that would have been something.
I do think Zach and Greenlee have chemistry but I NEVER said anything about them being a supercouple and before you say you weren't referring to me don't quote me and then complain.
I had no intention of saying I was not referring to you.
Whether or not Zach should have had quicker reflexes to a car approaching him the dark with the lights beaming in his eyes..(and of course, obviously he should have ASSUMED that someone was about to knock him over instead of stopping to help)..it does not negate the fact that Zach was in the area because of the pain that Greenlee caused his family.
And Greenlee did not admit to what she did. She even thanked Kendall for not bringing it up..when Kendall could have to save her own skin. NO, it would not be enough punishment in my mind for what Greenlee did..but at least, it would have been something. Instead, we got nothing.

That he started the whole mess when he cause the BO.Or you can go back farther and blame Kendall for offering to carry Greenlee's baby.Or you can go back and blame Greenlee for stealing the sperm.Or you can go back and blame Ryan for losing his mind and making Greenlee desparate enough to try to save him with a child.Or you can go back and blame Ryan's dad for abusing Ryan and Jonathan...Whatever.

Anything to get that baby-maiming borderline psychotic stalker away from Kendall and her sons. As for the embryos... eh. I don't think they were Greenlee's 'children'. They were embryos. And while what Zach did was wrong, it was for better and less selfish reasons than Greenlee has EVER displayed. And Zach did pay for that crime, and did offer Greenlee whatever she wanted - except his going to jail, because that would hurt Kendall. Not that Greenlee cared about that.Incidentally - Greenlee can still have children. Possibly even Ryan's children, since he can get his vasectomy reversed and give her the Ryanbaby she so desperately wanted at one time.

I believe that life starts at conception. Zach murdered Greenlee's children. Whether or not Greenlee can have more children is not the point. She will never have these children back because Zach chose to destroy them rather than to tell Greenlee and Kendall the truth about Ryan being alive.
Quote:I believe that life starts at conception. Zach murdered Greenlee's children. Whether or not Greenlee can have more children is not the point. She will never have these children back because Zach chose to destroy them rather than to tell Greenlee and Kendall the truth about Ryan being alive. ] Well, you're allowed your opinion (I, obviously, disagree) - but LEGALLY, the embryos were NOT children, and Zach cannot be persecuted for that. And Zach had good reasons for not telling Greenlee and Kendall that Ryan was alive:1. He thought Ryan was still THAT MONSTER. How was Zach to know that Jonathan's tumor somehow cured Ryan's rage issues? (Something I have never understood, either.)2. He knew Greenlee (and possibly Kendall) would try to find Ryan and he didn't think Ryan wanted to be found.Zach was, weirdly enough, protecting both women from Ryan with his actions. Unfortunately, Kendall outsmarted him. And while Zach never paid in a court of law, he lost Kendall for months over the BO. And he's stuck sharing Kendall with Ryan FOREVER, because of Spike. That's a karmic payback like nothing I've ever seen: Zach is stuck sharing the woman he loves more than his own life because of a child with her ex he (Zach) inadvertently helped create.
Yeah, I think its sad that Zach can't be tried for murder. He could have been tried for destruction of property (amongst other crimes related to the BO) but he never even stood trial for that.
I'm not saying that I want Zach to suffer in jail for what he had done. I simply wish that AMC would treat the crime with the gravity the issue deserves.
IMO, it can still be done. the PTB can have another couple come forward alleging that the BO caused their embryos to fail. Maybe then Zach could understand how real these children are to couples struggling with infertility and he and Greenlee can have real closure.
Missy.."Accusing Greenlee for Zach being on that road is ridiculous.

You know what? I totally agree with you. YOu can pick any point in past history and blame someone. I could not agree wtih you more.
However, with all due respect, you are the one that is pointing out the things that Zach did during the blackout...over 2 1/2 years ago. I dont see why talk about the blackout is allowed..but what Greenlee did is not without it being deemed ridiculous. Whle perceptions may differ, we can all go back and pick whatever we feel is most applicable to the current situation.
For me, Zach would not have been on that road if he were not looking for Paradise for his family away from the pain that Greenlee caused. And that statement is not any more or less farfetched than the idea that Greenlee got stuck in the shelter because of what Kendall did..without any discussion of how what Greenlee did over the last months affected Kendall's mental capacity at the time.
I am certainly not going to get into a right to life vs abortion issue..that's a purely personal choice and one I would not begin to challange and everyone is entitled to their opinion.
But if we are looking at what the show presented, Zach did destroy eggs from the clinic..but Greenlee told Kendall she would understand if she had an abortion after it was learned that Ryan was alive. That to me is at the very least equally upsetting. One respects unborn life or one does not. If life starts at conception, Greenlee was willing to have her child murdered...and Kendall stopped it.
Yes I mention the BO because I feel that the effects of that night are ultimately what drives so much that had happened and because that IMO, Zach had never fully faced what he had done or what those embryos really meant to Greenlee and Kendall. Greenlee caused Zach and Kendall pain because of what he had done to her. Greenlee never did anything to Zach before the BO to make it ok for him to murder her children. I know that some people think that the BO was done to protect Kendall and Greenlee but between telling me the truth that my husband is really alive or having someone kill my babies I would take the TRUTH. I have to admit, I must have missed the episode when Greenlee offered to let Kendall have an abortion. When did that happen?
Zach did what he did to protect Kendall. Greenlee could have cofessed to the judge when she came to court and played poor victim. She should have told the judge that Kendall did what she did because Kendall was afraid Greenlee would kidnap Spike again. She should have confessed to the kidnapping to get Kendall off. After Greenlee found out that Ryan faked his death, she went to Kendall's condo and told Kendall she could have an abortion if she wanted to.

Zach killed Greenlee's babies during the BO because he didn't want to tell Kendall that Ryan was still alive. Tell the truth or destroy Greenlee's babies. It should have been a simple choice for most people to just tell Greenlee and Kendall that Ryan had faked his own death to get away from them and that going ahead with the pregnancy would only drive him further away. But Zach didn't do that because he was afraid of Kendall's feelings for Ryan. When faced with the choice to tell the truth or destroy life Zach chose the destruction of life.

Zach didn't tell her that Ryan was alive becaus he was afraid for her safety. Hell..Ryan left town because even he knew with his anger problems they would not be safe. It was not a simple choice..Zach believed that Kendall would not be safe...and Grenlee would not be safe and he made a decision to protect them, as Ryan ASKED him to.Zach has admitted that he underestimated Kendall at that time and he never should have lied to her. He has also apologized to Greenlee who obviously has accepted his apology because he is her new BFF. When it was learned that Ryan was indeed alive, Greenlee told Kendall she woudl totally understand if she didn't want to carry the baby since Ryan was not longer dead. She would totally understand if Kendall wanted an abortion. Kendall who did not want the baby herself at that time and was still intent on giving it to Greenlee..said, no she would not have the abortion.

Maybe that is what Zach liked to believe but Ryan was LONG gone. What made him think that they would want Ryan back after learning that Ryan faked his death and let him mourn him? Zach's decision to remain silent and watch them grieve was IMO a selfish and cowardly one. As for Greenlee allowing Kendall to make the choice to terminate. While I don't agree with it I do understand why she would say it. Kendall only got pregnant with Ryan's baby because she thought that Ryan was dead (back to the Zach's secret again). While I don't agree with it at least the mother(s) would be CHOOSING the future of her child. What Zach did was not the same thing because HE, THIRD PARTY with NO Parental rights, made the decision to destroy Greenlee's children all on his own. I have friends that believe in the right to abortion that had a problem with Zach did because he took their right to choose away from them.
Zach did have parental rights the children(as you call them) were legally his, because it was going to be implanted into HIS WIFE!!!!

Why is it so hard for some people to admit that what Zach did was WRONG? I have read many of these post and many of them, myself included have stated that what Zach did was wrong. However so was Greenlees actions. She took Ryans right away from him when she knew that he did not want a child and got her self inseminated behind his back. All Greens wanted was a tool to prove that she was right and that she can use as an accessory to match her hand bag. She never cared about the actual child and her actions have proven that. She didn't care that Kendall was pregnant and how an abortion would effect her. All she cared about was keeping Ryan in the dark because he hurt her. She didn't give a darn about the child that Kendall was caring. She didn't care when Kendall was in a coma fighting to stay alive so that Spike could be born, she didn't care that Spike was screaming for his mommy when she kidnapped him. She didn't care to do the time for the crime that she committed against a child that she almost killed. If Greenlee cared so much than she would take responsibility for her actions and told the judge that Kendall may have set her up for a fake kidnapping but the truth was that she really did kidnap Spike and drove recklessly which almost caused Spike to loose his life because of her selfish actions. Zach was wrong but so was Greenlee and if she can preach about doing the time for the crime than she sure has heck deserves to be in jail for the attempted murder of Laura English, kidnapping and causing injury to a child.
While I never agreed with Greelee's reasons for having Ryan's baby I would NEVER say that those babies didn't deserve to live.
Quote:While I never agreed with Greelee's reasons for having Ryan's baby I would NEVER say that those babies didn't deserve to live. There was never any kind of guarantee that any child would live even if Zach had not done the BO. However I'm glad that Greens doesn't have a child because she is to selfish to put a child first before herself. Even RB says that she doesn't want Greens to have a child and she knows her character better than anyone. Thats why the IIC brought her back so she can play the REAL Greenlee.

I have even posted Zach was wrong. The difference is that you keep saying that Zach should be punished for something he has already paid and apologized for. IMO Zach paid for it tenfold. Not only has he paid for it so has Kendall, at the hands of Greenlee . However, you keep saying it is ok for Greenlee not to be punished for what she did to His children of which she hasn't paid for or apologized about. She almost killed Kendall's son and Zach's step son Spike and because she kidnapped their son in the process caused Kendall to go into premature labor of her unborn son. This son was close to death for months. All the while Greenlee was stalking Kendall even though she was told by numerous people to stay away from Kendall and Zach, she didn't. Kendall felt threatened by Greenlee in such a way that she over reacted to the conversation she heard between Greenlee and Aiden. Had it not been for Greenlee's obvious obsession with having Spike, since she arrived in PV and Kendall's obvious lack of sleep...IMO which was caused by worrying about Greenlee taking Spike again. It probably wouldn't have happened. What Greenlee did IMO was a whole lot worse then what Zach ever did. You say Zach killed her children, well that is debatable depending on your ideology on when conception starts. It was not ok for Zach to fry her eggs, but it was ok for Greenlee to ask Kendall to abort her child, the very child she at that time thought was her own? That is ok for Greenlee to do that? Given the timeframe of her asking, Kendall would have been about a month along, so the same rules should apply IMO. If you think Zach should be punished don't you think Greenlee should be too? You want us to admit Zach was wrong well it's your turn to admit that Greenlee should also get punished for the crimes she committed. IMO if the hole doesn't exonerate Zach it sure doesn't exonerate Greenlee.

No but it is ok for her to destroy the baby when it was 1 month along in Kendall's womb? Shouldn't the same rationalization apply here? She should be just as much a baby killer as Zach. If it wasn't for Kendall saying no she didn't want to do it, Greenlee was all for terminating the pregnancy.
I thought this was a discussion of paying for crimes, not a right to life discussion. Fertilized eggs are not considered a human being by the laws of this country. Kidnapping is a crime according to the laws of this country, so by right Greenlee should have been prosecuted. Nothing is going to change anyone's mind. Zach fans see what he did as an act of love, anti Zach, Greenlee and Rendall fans see it as the worst possible crime. Nothing will ever change anyone's mind. You guys have fun, I am out.

So by your standards because Greenlee has suffered than it's okay for Spike to have suffered by the trauma of being kidnapped, driven over a cliff and having his spleen repaired all because poor put upon Greenlee suffered. What about Spikes pain and suffering? What about Ian's pain and suffering that he went trough because Greens stealing his older brother caused Kendall to deliver him early. I want justice for children who are ALIVE and are living and breathing. I think they have the right to expect justice for the harm that was caused to them because of Greens selfish actions.

GreenME has suffered enough?????? GMAFB!She is a selfish little witch who never pays for any of the destruction she causes. It's always "poor little GreenME, her parents didn't love her enough". She is one of the elite few who never pay for anything they do, Babe and anyone named Lavery are the other ones.

I never realized how much Zach and Greenlee have in common! Now I know why I think they can be good together despite the terrible things that they have done.
I admit my perspective is different. I admit that I don't consider embryos to be children. I thought was Zach did was wrong. I hate that he made that decision because the effed up dynamic in Ryan and Greenlee's marriage caused his wife so much anxiety as she bent over backwards over and over and over again to try and help Greenlee because...well, I'm not sure why. I think it was because she had some twisted need for Greenlee to love her, and that was only going to happen if she sacrificed everything for her "friend." So because I don't think embryos are children, it also didn't bother me that Greenlee brought up abortion to Kendall. Although the logic that it was okay for the mother to murder her unborn child (yay, choice!) but not okay for a third party to murder the unborn (not even in the womb) child seems a little off.I felt bad for Greenlee when her desire to have Ryan's child failed over and over. I never liked her as much as I liked Kendall, and I admit I hated her during the times that she was so awful to Kendall. But I did genuinely feel bad for her, and when she ran away I genuinely mourned her leaving. But then she came back. And went back to terrorizing Kendall. I felt her anger at Zach was legitimate. He destroyed her hopes and dreams (I'm not going to call them children because...well, we've already gone over this). They were pretty delusional hopes and dreams, but they were hers nonetheless. Her anger at Kendall...completely and utterly without basis. Kendall did the wrong thing by not telling her the truth, but the vile accusations that Greenlee spewed at her were baseless and spiteful. And because Kendall had done NOTHING WRONG, the fact that Greenlee wanted to play indian giver with a CHILD that Kendall had nurtured and loved for over a year at that point, was flat out disgusting and mercenary. Far worse, in my opinion, than what Zach had done. I will be perfectly honest - if Greenlee had sought revenge against Zach and Zach alone, I would have had no problem with that. But she didn't seek revenge against Zach. She sought to use a child - one that was living and breathing and right in front of my TV screen - as a weapon to create suffering. What's that I hear? Is it...is it the cries and screams of pain from the poor wittle embryos that Zach murdered? No. No, those are Spike's cries and screams of pain. Oh man, now I'm being a b****. Ian didn't cry and scream in pain, either. He was too weak.
Man, I hope my above post causes people to hate Zach and love Greenlee, because that would be AWESOME! To know that I have that much power over someone else is exhilerating.
Oh PLEASE!
That is so wrong. Greenlee did not set out to use Spike like a weapon. She saw the child that would have been hers had she stayed. But Greenlee world was devastated by the BO that Zach caused. Was she write in taking Spike? NO. Burt she had a momentary lapse and was bringing him back when she had an ACCIDENT, an accident that never would have occurred had Kendall not insisted that Greenlee TAKE Spike.
Spike was hurt. Ian was born premature but they are both ALIVE.
Greenlee's children were murdered by Zach. He didn't offer to give them a choice the way Greenlee offered to give Kendall a choice. Zach just went out and did what he wanted and purposely killed her babies.
Great post Giggle! I agree. IMO no matter what Zach did to Greenlee she had no right to try to take Kendall's child. This was the very child she had wanted that Kendall was going to give her...Ryan's child. The trouble was Greenlee wasn't the mother so she didn't want the gift anymore, so she threw it away like yesterday's trash. Fast forward 1 year and a lot of anguish and a lot of family bonding. Greenlee rolls back into town and sees how lovely this child is and how happy the families are to have him. We have poor GreenMe thinking, hey if only I can have that with Spike then I will be all happy again. So instead of being the friend and part of the family Ryan and Kendall offered, she decided to help herself to the whole thing and Take him. OH but it was a mistake she didn't mean to...right. What she did was she kidnapped a child and never has paid any time for it. She should be doing the community service that Kendall got stuck with. That IMO would be justice. The community service Kendall absorbed because she wanted to see Greenlee pay for taking her child. Kendall and Ryan never got to see that justice was served for the kidnapping of their son Spike and Zach and Kendall never got to see the justice for the premature birth of their son Ian. Most of all fans didn't get the justice of seeing Greenlee pay at least once for the stupid things she does and gets away with. She is her own worst enemy and unfortunately at this point in her selfish life it was Kendall and her babies who had suffered.
ROTFLMAO.I can't believe I'm defending Greenlee! I used to HATE her.I wouldn't mind it Greenlee had to do community service for reckless driving. That seems fair. But labeling her a kidnapper when she only had Spike for 10 minutes or so seems ridiculous. Think about it, Greenlee's accidentally hurting Zach's children and Zach's purposely destroying hers is just one of the things that bonds them.
For realz? It was only 10 minutes? Man, you are totally right it wasn't at all kidnapping. Maybe if she'd driven 45 minutes in the opposite direction instead of only 10, it would have been a felony. But ten minutes, that's nothing. It's kind of like the 5 second rule. If you drop your candy bar on the ground and manage to snatch it up before 5 seconds has lapsed, it's not really dirty. Even if it falls in dog poo, totally not dirty! And what about Kendall being so stupid as to make Greenlee drive Spike home! What an idiot! You don't give a new employee the combination to the safe! You don't walk down the street showing a lot of cleavage and leg. You're just asking for it, you stupid b****I agree that Zach and Greenlee have so much in common and should totally be BFFs. He killed ten minute old embryo babies and she took a child for only ten minutes. That's gold, Jerry!
LMAO
I wouldn't call it gold, I'd call it AMC.
"A Massive Crapfest"
The 5 second rule? I never heard of that. Personally, if I were you I'd have tossed that candy out.
I can see how eating that would make you feel nasty.
Are you feeling ok?
Only certain people have to do the time if they do the crime. Others can just get a pat on the back or the sainthood for it.
Well, it's only a crime if some people commit it, if others do it's just a mistake that should be forgiven and forgotten. The forgive and forget rule does not apply to all.

Quote:When exactly did Greenlee face a judge for what she did to Spike? Oh, that's right. NEVER. Because Aidan helped her break out of jail. And when Kendall admitted what SHE'd done, Greenlee didn't confess then either. She hasn't paid SQUAT for the months of hell she put Kendall and Zach and those children through. And, frankly, the current actress doesn't even seem to play an awareness of the hell she wrought. Greenlee confessed to the crime that Kendall FRAMED her for, She knew Aiden had a plan but she did not know what he was going to do. IMO, by doing that and by stopping to help an injured Zach while on the run, even though she knew what he and Kendall had done to her, started the redemption of Greenlee for her past missdeeds.
