Soap Opera Digest is awaiting official confirmation from Prospect Park, but insiders report that the company is officially shelving its plans to bring AMC back for a second season. (The show has been on production hiatus since August.) Staffers reportedly got word from PP today, and one behind-the-scenes player posted on Facebook, "It was fun while it lasted…" TV Guide's Michael Logan tweeted that a Friday announcement from PP is expected.
