I thought I read a couple of issues back, in SOD that Ricky Paull Goldin was leaving. Or did I dream that?

At this point, does anyone really care? I haven't watched but maybe ten minutes this past week. I am so over AMC. Until they decide to get some real writers, I am not watching any more.

I haven't been watching either. But I am interested in who will die. Conventional wisdom says it will probably be David. But I can think of a number of AMC characters who could kick the bucket and no one would probably care. I personally don't think David should die because if they can tone him down and give him purpose he could go back to being an interesting villian. Actually, the only time he was interesting to me was when was burning for my dear departed Dixie. Maybe if they hook him up with Liza, he could become someone we can root for. It may make her rootable also and I just don't see her and Tad growing old together.

I certainly don't want to see David die. There would be another void on AMC if he did. If Scott or Annie or Ryan or Greenlee died no one would even notice their dead bodies. I guess we won't be that lucky to have any one from the Big Brother After Dark quad to die or the toxic duo Rylee to die. Poor us!Whoever it is, probably won't be really dead as usual. No one ever dies on this show or pays for crimes and betrayals, especially if you're Greenlee or Annie .Frons needs to wake up, his golden kids are sinking this ship faster than a bomber squadron.

I don't remember anything about RPG leaving....It would be the height of poor judgement by the writers if they killed off Jake. The show has suffered enough loss starting witht eh silly Dixie death, all the way throught to Palmer's death, and Adams Leaving.They have destroyed David. I wish for a blood bath at Caleb's party with JFAP showing up and knocking off Ryan, GL, Annie, Fake Liza, Fake Colby, Borissa, Gomer...Sorry, I mean Scott....David will probably fake his death.... then we will have weeks of poor victim GL... Wait, I mean more weeks of poor victim GL.... at the hands of evil bad David...All I know is I'm sick to death of the "Victim GL" stories at the expense of every single character... Not to mention, the vile Rylee infestation...Let Ryass and his vile green gnat die... That would work for me..Sorry, but just sick too death of characters, couples getting trashed for those two..

My point exactly. David was a great villain. They have taken him and ruined him and probably feels that he has been written into a corner. So although, I have not been a big fan lately, I once was, and would like to see him show more of a human side. One that is not controlling and manipulative. They have not shown enough of that vulnerable side of him in a long time. Not since the original Babe was on if you asked me. I wanted to believe that when they paired him with Krystal, he would become more human, but they managed to make it otherwise.

It is just too much. Ah, OK. Gotcha. I misunderstood. I agree that it would just be too much to kill off yet another beloved character rather than David or Ryan or Greenlee, but when was the last time TPTB gave it's audience what it really wanted?

If there were a Soap God, I'd be lucky enough to get the magic bullet that would kill Ryan, Caleb, and KWAK all at the same time
