DAYS's Nadia Bjorlin on Chloe and Brady

In a recent DAYS OF OUR LIVES episode, Chloe and Brady nearly passed on the street without recognizing one another. Chloe quickly commented on Brady’s change in appearance, and the two remarked on how much their lives have changed since they met as teens. Nadia Bjorlin (Chloe) goes into more detail about the changes in Chloe and Brady, and the history of their romance.Soap Opera Weekly: How would you describe the early romance between Chloe and Brady?

Nadia Bjorlin: That was a very young love. In some aspects, it was a naive, romanticized fairy tale. I’m not demeaning or diminishing that relationship, but it was a different part of Brady and Chloe’s life, and now they’re in a completely different place. They probably weren’t old enough to have a mature, sustainable relationship.

Weekly: When you returned to DAYS in 2007, Brady was off the canvas. Were you apprehensive about Chloe returning to Salem without Brady?

Bjorlin: When I came in for a meeting, they said, ‘Chloe’s a changed person. She’s more worldly; she’s traveled. She’s been through a lot.’ But it felt good to come back as one of the adults on the show. When I started on the show, I was a kid. So I came back with a different attitude and different things going on; a different understanding.

Weekly: Would you like to work more with Eric Martsolf, who is now playing Brady?

Bjorlin: Yes, we would love to work with each other.

Weekly: Chloe and Brady are both currently at a crossroads. What if DAYS tried exploring their relationship again?

Bjorlin: It would definitely be fun to explore. It would be interesting to see what it would be like now… I love that there’s still potential. There’s always potential. That’s what is fun and great about our stories and our writing; that the doors are never closed to any possibilities.

Weekly: Both you and Martsolf sing. Would you welcome the opportunity to sing together on the show?

Bjorlin: We’ve joked about it. That would be so much fun!
