Monday

Shawn and Belle chilled in the pub freezer. Belle told Shawn he
couldn't blow the door open, but he wouldn't be deterred. Shawn grabbed
two bottles of vodka and said he was going to make a Molotov cocktail.
Then, he lit it. Meanwhile, Kate phoned Roman, telling him that Andre
was outside the pub and begged him to get there. After she hung up,
Andre complimented Kate on a job well done. Roman arrived to find Kate
gagged, tied up, and about to be hung. Roman cut her down. Kate screamed, and Andre knocked out Roman. Bo and Hope arrived to find the pub a mess, when suddenly there was an explosion. Inside the cooler, a small fire erupted and scalded Shawn. Belle put it out and screamed for help. Bo freed Belle and Shawn, as Hope phoned for an ambulance.

Lucas tried to calm Sami, who was freaking out in her hospital room about
Andre having Shawn and Belle. EJ strolled in and Lucas wanted him to
leave. Sami thought EJ might be able to help. Lucas accused EJ of digging up the past between the DiMeras and the Bradys just to get close to Sami and threatened to slug him. A guard came in and restrained Lucas. Sami asked EJ to leave, but he refused. EJ reminded Lucas that he'd saved his life and Sami's several times. Lucas challenged EJ to admit he was in love with Sami. When EJ admitted he did, Lucas fumed and told
him to get out. Lucas received a call from Kate, begging him to come at
once and to bring clothes. Lucas took off. Sami asked EJ to follow
Lucas, but not before warning him to never say he loved her again. EJ claimed he had just been joking. Lucas and EJ found Kate hiding behind some bushes. She explained that Andre had taken her clothes and cell phone and left her there. Kate got dressed and explained what happened at the pub.

At Stefano's funeral, Benjy wheeled himself toward his father's casket, pulled out a gun, and fired. Marlena raced toward Stefano and said he still had a pulse. Stefano opened his eyes and asked what was going on. Tony noted that Stefano was wearing a bulletproof vest.
Stefano demanded to be let out of there. Abe refused. Abe told Stefano that he was on his way to a private clinic, but first they were going to the cemetery. Lexie and Marlena took Benjy to the hospital. While Lexie tended to Benjy, Marlena visited Sami, who said her life was a mess. She loved Lucas, but he didn't understand her spending time with
EJ to read Santo and Colleen's letters to find out what started the Brady/DiMera vendetta. Marlena recalled when Marlena had tried to deny her feelings for John. Sami insisted she loved Lucas. Bo arrived and asked if they'd seen Roman. Sami freaked that something might have happened to her dad.

At the cemetery, Stefano's service progressed, but there was no sign
of Andre. Outside the funeral parlor, Andre emerged, having knocked out
the chauffeur and put on his uniform. He laughed while recounting all his victims that evening. Back at the cemetery, everyone heard Andre's laughter in the distance. A cop retrieved a tape recorder he'd found on the scene. Kate arrived, warning that Roman was in danger. Just then, Bo seemingly got a call from Roman, saying that he was taking Andre down tonight. Inside the funeral parlor, Grandpa Shawn sat alone
recalling a day from his childhood. Playing with young Stefano, he
learned that the tyke mother's wasn't dead. When Santo and Colleen
returned, Shawn remained mum.

Tuesday

Chelsea grilled Stephanie about what happened in the cave with Max. Steph swore nothing happened; she already had a boyfriend. Chelsea reminded Steph that Jeremy treated her like dirt and was a criminal. Stephanie reminded Chelsea that she was a criminal, too. A stung Chelsea said she'd never get over Zach's death and left. Max joined Steph and noted that there was a lien on his garage and all his accounts were frozen, thanks to Jeremy. Steph defended him, noting that Jeremy was back in town and had contacted her. Max was stunned. He thought Steph and Jeremy were over. Steph left and headed to her parents' place, where she had a visitor: Jeremy. He went on about how Steve was supposed to help him. Steph was annoyed and wondered if Jeremy even cared that Rawlins made her and Max jump from a plane. Jeremy reminded Steph that he asked her to come with him and professed his love. He begged Steph to help him and asked if he could crash there. There was a knock on the door and it was Max. He didn't like how he and Steph left things and wanted to talk.

Nick arrived at the pub with Artemis and Demarquette. He sent the boys to play chess so he could chat with Chelsea. They discussed her first day of school, Nick's teaching, and the fact that China Lee had been released from jail. China arrived and informed Nick and Chelsea that she had to leave the country, but couldn't take the boys. Nick reminded China of her promise to sign their annulment papers. She promised she would, if Nick kept the boys for her.

Belle was working at the pub when Philip arrived, said he was going to pick up Claire at daycare, and asked Belle if she wanted to have dinner with them. Belle hesitated. Philip asked if Belle felt guilty because they'd almost kissed. "We did not almost kiss," retorted Belle. Philip insisted that what they had between them was still there. Belle admitted things might have gone further than they should have in Tulsa, but she loved and was committed to Shawn. Belle said she couldn't be available to Philip any more and suggested Billie help him find his son. Then, she left to visit Shawn in the hospital. Meanwhile, Bo was at his son's bedside, assuring Shawn that once he healed, he could start classes at the academy. Lexie arrived and mentioned that Hope told her about Belle going to Tulsa with Philip and how it had upset Shawn. Shawn confided that he believed Philip was trying to win back Belle. Lexie asked if Shawn trusted Belle. Shawn admitted that maybe he didn't, but he loved Belle and wasn't giving up on her. Belle arrived and admitted that she hadn't been fair to Shawn by going off with Philip. Hence, she wouldn't be helping him search for Tyler anymore. Philip rushed in with news that Billie traced Lauren to San Antonio and that he was heading there. Belle asked what Philip was going to do, since he'd signed away his parental rights. Philip promised to figure something out. After Philip left, Shawn encouraged Belle to go with him.

Bo met with Steve and noted that he hadn't heard from Roman since he
called and said he was bringing Andre down. Bo and Steve suspected that Roman was forced to make that call. Bo decided he'd look for Roman, and Steve agreed to go after Andre. When Bo left, Steve realized Pocket was burning up with fever, so he headed to the hospital. Dr. Davidoff emerged after examining Pocket and asked Steve if the baby had eaten anything out of the ordinary. He'd ingested something toxic. Steve told Lexie that something wasn't right and suggested the DiMeras had something to do with poisoning Pocket.

Later, Bo arrived at the pub and talked to Caroline about the missing Roman. His pop, Shawn, came by and Bo insisted he tell them how this vendetta started. Pop started to go, but Caroline begged him to open up. Roman was in danger. Indeed, at the cemetery Roman awakened in a dark, dreary place. Suddenly, he realized he was in a coffin and began screaming.

Wednesday

Nick had it out with China Lee about Artemis and DeMarquette. He insisted the boys needed their mom. China admitted she wasn't their mother. She brought A and D to The States for cash. A guy was supposed to meet her in Vegas, but never showed up. Caring for the kids was
expensive and cramping her style. That's why she wanted Nick to take them. Chelsea threatened to call the cops unless China revealed the name of the boys' parents. China admitted A and D's dad was a powerful man with enemies, but he was now dead. She was hired to keep the kids safe. China urged Nick to keep this on the lowdown. If A and D's names
turned up in the news, someone would come after them. Chelsea took Nick
aside to discuss things, and when they returned China had split. Nick told
the boys that China would be gone for a while, so they were stuck with him.

"You want me to go to San Antonio with Philip?" a stunned Belle asked
Shawn. Shawn explained that he didn't want Belle to feel guilty if she
didn't go and something went wrong. Shawn said he loved and trusted
Belle and wanted her to help Philip. Belle thanked Shawn and kissed him
goodbye. Meanwhile, Billie shared new info with Philip: paperwork that
showed Lauren hadn't spent any money on a baby of late. Billie thought
Lauren gave Tyler up a long time ago and that Philip might need to expand his search. Billie suggested Philip go to San Antonio, confront Lauren, and make her talk. If all else failed, he had to play dirty, like calling the cops and accusing Lauren of killing Tyler. Belle
arrived and announced she was going to accompany Philip on his search, and that it was Shawn's idea. Philip thanked her and they went to pack.

Steve and Lexie filled Kayla in on Pocket's condition. Namely, the fact that he was exposed to something toxic. Dr. Davidoff brought the tyke out and noted that he had two small ulcers, suggesting chemical poisoning. Lexie told Kayla that Steve believed a DiMera was responsible. Steve, however, now thought the whole thing was his fault.
He'd used a spray cleaner that morning. Perhaps his hands weren't clean when he handled Pocket. Kayla told Steve the kid couldn't have gotten so sick from that and assured him that he was a great dad. Babies got sick. None of this was Steve's fault.

Jeremy hid, and Stephanie let Max into her parents' place. Max confronted Steph about her feelings for Jeremy, noting that there was no commitment between them despite what transpired in the cave. When she started acting weird, Max wondered if Jeremy had been there and
offered to help. Steph insisted she didn't need Max's help, and he left. Alone, Steph remembered back to the cave. Jeremy emerged and accused Steph of already hooking up with Max. Steph denied it. Jeremy asked if Steph gave the cops enough info to nail him. When she intimated that she had, Jeremy got angry and prepared to go,
accidentally dropping his ID. Suddenly, Steve and Kayla arrived, so Steph made Jeremy hide in her bedroom. Steve and Kayla filled Steph in on what happened to Pocket, and Steph told them she wanted to move back home. Steph went to her room and told Jeremy he could stay if he agreed to turn himself into Steve. He had 48 hours to decide. Meanwhile, Steve discovered Jeremy's ID on the floor.

Lexie returned to Shawn's room and questioned his decision to let
Belle go off with Philip again. Max arrived, dejected about losing his
garage and, seemingly, Steph. Shawn promised him that things would get
better.

Thursday

Jett read about Stefano's demise in the paper, but realized it wasn't true. Abe noted that Stefano was in custody at the moment, but there was still no sign of Roman. Jett offered to help with the
investigation until the ISA put him back on duty. Abe broke the news that Jett was fired for compromising his cover, endangering civilian lives, and letting Rawlins and Jeremy get away. Jett wondered what he'd do next. Abe suggested his nephew come stay with him, Lexie and Theo and start job hunting. Jett asked about getting a job at the Salem PD. Abe told Jett he would have to prove himself first.

Kayla returned home and put Pocket down for a nap, while Jeremy tried to make a quick getaway. Kayla caught him and laced into him for everything he'd done to Stephanie and her pals. When Jeremy made excuses, Kayla urged him to own up to his mistakes and turn himself in
to the cops.

Outside Jett's room, Chelsea confessed to Steph that Jett told her he loved her in the ambulance. Steph urged Chelsea to see if Jett remembered his declaration. Chelsea said she loved Nick, despite their on again/off again relationship. Finally, the gals entered Jett's room.
Chelsea took Abe off and apologized for messing up Jett's case, while Steph and Jett discussed the case, too. Jett said that Jeremy totally blew it by running off and asked Steph if she'd heard from him. Steph lied that she hadn't. Chelsea entered and said she was sorry Jett lost
his job and that it was all her fault. Jett insisted the blame fell upon himself. Steph asked Jett if he remembered anything after he got shot. Suddenly, Steph's phone rang, she answered it, and freaked. It was Jeremy, who snuck a call to Steph on his cell phone, so she could hear him arguing with Kayla. Jett suspected it was Jeremy calling for help, but Steph denied it and left. Alone, Chelsea told Jett she might have a job for him. Her mom was the head of security at Salem
University and could probably get Jett a job there. Jett wasn't too keen on the idea, until he realized he'd be seeing Chelsea's smiling face a lot more often.

Back at her place, Kayla grabbed her phone to call the cops, but Jeremy stopped her. Jeremy went on about his family ignoring him. Soon, Stephanie arrived. "Tell you mom to let me go without calling the cops," begged Jeremy. Kayla asked for Steph's cell phone to call the police. "Be smart. He's a wanted fugitive," implored Kayla. "He's also the guy I love," retorted Steph.

At the funeral parlor, Stefano discussed with Rolf and his attorney the suit he'd be filing against the Salem PD for staging his death and putting him in a coffin. "How much do you think this little bit of guerilla theater is worth?" asked Stefano, noting that he was going to squeeze Bo and Abe until they bled through their pensions. Steve
entered and told Stefano not to forget Roman, then noted that Roman couldn't be included in the suit since he was on ice. Steve and Stefano bickered back and forth. Stefano confronted Steve about his assassination attempt. Steve insisted he had no choice but to comply
with the Salem PD. They threatened to throw him back into the nuthouse.
Stefano told Steve he'd made a big mistake siding with the cops against
him and would live to regret it. Steve confided that the cops knew were Andre was hiding and were going to close in on him. Steve offered Stefano a deal: he'd keep Andre two steps ahead of the cops, if Stefano stayed away from Benjy. Stefano agreed, and Steve left. Rolf asked if Stefano believed Steve. He didn't and said they had to warn Andre. Rolf took a piece of chalk and marked the door with an arrow. After he left,
Steve, who was hiding, checked out the marking.

Friday

Jett was preparing to leave the hospital when Nick stopped by and apologized for the two of them getting off on the wrong foot. Apology accepted. Nick asked about Jett's next ISA assignment. Jett confessed he'd been fired, but might have another job in the works. Chelsea was asking her mom to get him a position at Salem University. Nick noted that he'd be teaching science there and that maybe the two of them would see each other on campus.

At the pub, Chelsea met Billie and asked her about giving Jett a job at Salem University. Billie said she'd need more details about what happened in Vegas and why the ISA let Jett go. Chelsea insisted that nothing that went down was Jett's fault, so Billie agree to talk to
him. She told Chelsea to have Jett call her. Nick arrived with Artemis and DeMarquette and asked Chelsea if she wanted to hang out with them later. Chelsea agreed and left. Nick asked Billie if she'd found anything out about A and D. Billie confessed she hadn't. It was difficult, considering she didn't know their last name. Nick reiterated
what China Lee told him about the boys being the sons of a powerful man, who was dead, and how they were in danger. Billie mentioned taking the boys to social services, but Nick wouldn't hear of it. Billie wished him good luck and exited. Meanwhile, Chelsea arrived at the hospital and gave Jett the good news: He had a job with her mom, if he
wanted it. Chelsea gave Jett Billie's phone number.

Kayla tried to talk sense into Stephanie, to no avail. Steph noted that
she and Jeremy loved each other and asked her mom to butt out. Jeremy
prepared to leave. Kayla was furious. Steph reminded her mom how she went on the run with her dad when she was her age. Kayla pointed out that Steve was an innocent man and Victor was trying to kill him. Kayla urged Jeremy to be a man and turn himself in. No dice. He wanted to leave. Steph asked Jeremy if he had any money. When he admitted he didn't, she offered him her ATM card. Kayla begged Steph not to do it. Jeremy told Steph that he needed her money. Once he got it, he'd be gone and never look back, he claimed. Steph didn't buy it. Finally, Jeremy left. Steph ran out to the hall and kissed him goodbye. Then, she returned and asked Kayla to give Jeremy some time before she turned him in. "I
already did," admitted Kayla.

Nick and the boys were exiting the pub when Jeremy approached and asked if
Nick would put him up for the night. Nick wanted no part of it, but
Jeremy wouldn't give up. He said he'd sleep on the floor. Yet again,
Nick found himself helping another loser.

At the funeral parlor, Steve was inspecting the marks Rolf made on the door. Bo arrived, noticed the marks and they both figured it was a message to Andre, who would be arriving soon. They hoped he'd lead them to Roman. Soon, Steve and Bo, who were hiding, spotted Andre arrive, wipe the chalk marks off
the door and go inside. Andre retrieved a note, warning him to protect
himself. The Salem PD was onto him. Steve emerged and approached Andre,
noting that he'd talked to Stefano and had promised to help Andre stay
ahead of the cops. Steve explained the deal he made with Stefano, but
Andre was suspicious. Steve opened his jacket to show Andre he had no
weapon on him. Then, he stepped toward Andre, who pulled out a knife
and stabbed Steve. Andre took off, as Bo raced out. Steve urged Bo to go after Andre. He was fine. Bo left, and Steve fell to the floor.
