Monday

Philip and Belle arrived at the women's shelter in Tulsa. Belle asked a
worker there if they had seen her sister, Lauren. The guard asked Philip and
Belle to stay in the foyer because they have strict rules about who they let
in. April, the director of the shelter, came to talk to them. Belle
explained that they were looking for Lauren and Tyler. April told her that
because of privacy issues, she couldn’t let Belle into the shelter to talk
to the women. Belle tried to change her mind, but April told them to leave
or else she’d call the police. Philip said that Lauren had his son. April
asked what he was talking about, so Phil explained about their cover story
to get info about the baby. April pointed out that they had already lied, so
why should she believe them now. Suddenly, Philip spied Lauren and went
after her. Belle pulled him back, but he broke free, approached Lauren and
said he wanted his son. Turns out, Lauren wasn’t holding Tyler. The guards
knocked Phil out cold. April warned if Philip returned, she'd have him
arrested and charged with assault. Belle pointed to an injured Philip and
said that they were the ones who could press charges. Philip came to and
said he wouldn't leave without his son. Belle said she'd stay, too.

Roman held a press conference to announce the Phoenix's "death" to lure
Andre out of hiding. After, EJ asked Roman if he could see his father's
body. Roman said he could, but only after the autopsy was completed. EJ
suspected that Stefano was actually alive and called the stabbing a
"pathetic charade." EJ threatened to get a court order to see his father.

At the station, Steve explained to Kayla that Roman and Bo were going to
fake arrest him and keep him in jail until after the funeral. Kayla was
upset that he'd be away from her and Pocket. Steve implored her to keep the
act up and not tell a soul that Stefano wasn't really dead. Kayla agreed,
but refused to lie to Stephanie. Steve was taken out of Roman's office in
handcuffs and came upon Roman and EJ. EJ told Steve that he didn't believe
Stefano was dead.

Shawn went to talk to Bo, who was busy at the DiMera crime scene. Bo
commended the undercover cops for their role in the fake out. Shawn told his
father about the situation with Max and the garage. Bo expressed his
sympathy and said that he told Max to keep his nose clean. Shawn asked if Bo
would put in a good word for him at the academy. Bo admitted he always
dreaded that Shawn would want to be a cop. Shawn insisted he knew about the
risks and still wanted to do it. Bo asked what Belle thought; Shawn admitted
that he hadn't told her yet, but that it was important for him to be able to
provide for her and Claire. Bo agreed to put a good word in for him. Bo's
cell phone rang. It was Chelsea, who told him that Jett was shot. Bo said
he'd be right there. Shawn's cell rang next. It was Belle, who said she
needed to stay in Tulsa with Phil. "Hello? We've got dinner plans,
remember?” Shawn reminded her. She said she did, but she felt she couldn't
leave. He said okay.

Aboard the Touch the Sky jet, Rawlings ordered "Maxwell Not-So-Smart" and
Stephanie to jump. Max tried to calm Steph, promising to help her with the
jump. He asked Rawlings for some supplies, but the thug merely laughed at
him. Fine, then shoot us, Max dared. Rawlings gave in and handed over a
flashlight and some rope. Max and Steph reluctantly jumped. They survived,
but Steph hurt her ankle. Max found a cave for them to seek shelter. Steph
wasn't thrilled at the idea of spending the evening with spiders, bats and
bugs, but they had no choice. Max started a fire, using the dirty money he
made with Jeremy and Rawlings. He rued the day he got involved in the scam,
admitting the price was too high and that he felt very alone. "You're not
alone anymore," Steph assured him. After, she showed him that she swiped her
cell phone. He was impressed. They cuddled up to sleep for the night.

Tuesday

In Tulsa, Philip and Belle met with a detective, Morgan, and told him about
the complicated Lauren/Tyler situation. Morgan knocked on the door of the
shelter and gained admittance. While waiting for him to return, Philip
opened up to Belle about how he already had feelings for Tyler, though he
hadn't met him. Belle assured him he'd be a great dad. Detective Morgan
finally came out and told Philip that he spoke with Lauren and some other
women and that there is no baby. Philip said they must be lying. The
detective went and got Lauren. She came outside and denied knowing anything
about a baby. When pushed, Lauren admitted that Tyler was with someone she
trusted. She then reminded Philip that he signed his rights to the baby
away. Philip offered her cash for info. Morgan pointed out that if she takes
the money, he'll have to arrest her for extortion. A frustrated Belle and
Philip decided to return to the hotel, thinking Lauren would call for cash
once the detective wasn't around.

Nick goofed around with Artemis and DeMarquette at the Brady Pub. Jeremy
called Stephanie on her cell, and was dismayed to get no response. He left a
message, telling her he missed her. He approached Nick and asked for a
favor. Nick introduced the boys to Jeremy. "Don't people name their kids
John or Tommy anymore?" Jeremy queried. "And this is Jeremy. He is missing a
sensitivity gene," Nick added. Jer asked to talk to Nick privately. The boys
got excited to go play chess, which prompted Jeremy to call them weird.
Jeremy asked for Steve's cell phone number. Nick asked why. Jeremy explained
that things went badly in Vegas and Jeremy wanted Steve's help. Nick
reluctantly agreed to get the digits.

Bo and Kayla arrived in Las Vegas; Chelsea thanked them for coming. Kayla
asked why she was in the casino. Chelsea explained that she was too freaked
out being in the hospital. The sibs told her that Jett made it through the
surgery and was being transferred back to Salem. Bo asked what happened.
Chelsea told them about Rawlings. Kayla asked where Steph was. Chelsea said
she was with Max — and that Jeremy left. "He left Stephanie to fend
for herself?" asked a horrified Kayla. Chelsea noted that Steph was with Max
and he would never let anything happen to her. Bo took off to get some info.
After, Chelsea opened up about how rattled she was about Jett and how he
told her he loved her. She then confessed that even though she doesn't know
him well, when she thought Jett was going to die, she felt like a part of
her would have died with him. During their chat, Nick called Kayla, asking
for Steve's number. Kayla asked why; Nick told him it was for Jeremy. Kayla
asked to talk to Jeremy. He got on the line and she asked where Steph was.
He said he hadn't heard from her. "Put Nick back on the phone," a disgusted
Kayla replied. She told Nick to call Roman and tell him that there was a
warrant out for Jer's arrest. When Nick hung up, Jeremy went to leave,
explaining he knew what Kayla told Nick to do. He asked Nick for some cash.
Nick gave him what he had, but urged Jeremy to call their Uncle Mickey. Jer
said no way, gave Nick a note for Steph, asked for a five-minute head start
and left.

Bo returned and reported that the plane Steph and Max were on landed in
Mexico and that the FBI and the Mexican authorities had been contacted. Bo's
cell rang. It was the Feds, who told him that Rawlings made Max and
Stephanie jump from the plane and that they landed somewhere in New Mexico.
A search and rescue team had been organized, Bo added. Kayla insisted on
helping. She and Bo took off to catch the redeye. Chelsea stayed behind and
called Nick, but their conversation was brief. Nick was bummed; the boys
comforted him.

In the cave, Max slept while Stephanie told him that she was happy to be
with him and that they've grown up a lot since they broke up. She flashed
back to kissing him and smiled. She tried to rouse Max, to no avail, so she
screamed, pretending she had seen a bear. He woke up and went to check it
out. "Guys are so clueless," she sighed, then did a quick hair toss. When
Max came back, she said her ankle hurt. He ripped off his shirt and made a
wrap for her. She thanked him, then told him about the last time she hurt
her ankle, back in Dayton. They then discussed Jeremy. Max asked why she got
mixed up with the Horton jerk in the first place, seeing as how he treats
her like crap. An argument ensued, which led to them finally discussing
their awkward breakup back in January. "I was the best damn thing that ever
happened to you," Steph pointed out. She told him she had been completely
into their relationship. "Maybe a little too into it," Max replied. Steph
asked why Max was only interested in her once he found out she was with
Jeremy. Max insisted that wasn't true. He then admitted that they didn't
connect before, but since she came back from Dayton, she had a confidence
that attracted him. "You came back as this woman I could definitely see
myself with," he said. "What if I told you that you could have me?" she
replied. "What about Jeremy?" Max asked. Steph said Jeremy made his choice
and it wasn't her. Max asked who her choice was. She didn't directly answer,
so he gave her an ultimatum: him or Jeremy.

Wednesday

At the Tulsa hotel, Philip planned a romantic dinner for an uncomfortable Belle, then suggested they watch The Notebook. She pointed out that there was only one bed, so he told her she was welcome to it and he'd take the couch. Shawn arrived to surprise her with Claire, but turned around to get flowers in the lobby. Back in the room, Belle noted that she wouldn't be happy if Shawn was with his ex. Belle went to get the sheets and blanket for Philip when there was a knock at the door. It was Shawn, who was less than pleased to see the scene in the room. Belle awkwardly explained that she was making up the couch for Philip. Shawn asked for news on the baby, so Philip filled him in. Shawn wondered why they weren't in separate rooms. Phil explained that the hotel was full. Shawn asked Phil to take Claire down to see the aquarium so he could talk to Belle. Once alone, Shawn told Belle he was sorry he spoiled the party. "There's no party," she insisted. She asked why he brought Claire to Tulsa. He told her that they both missed Belle. She accused him of not trusting her. He said he never expected to find her sharing a room with Philip. They had a tense discussion. He told her about signing up for the police academy. She asked why he didn't discuss it with her first. More tenseness ensued. Philip returned with Belle. Shawn left Claire with an upset Belle and returned to Salem.

Stephanie panicked when she thought she heard a bear in the cave. Max went to check it out and returned with a bunny rabbit, who was making the noise. Max set him free. "You wouldn't have the heart to kill a bunny," Steph smiled. "Maybe you don't know my heart as well as you think," he responded flirtatiously. They decided to have a chat and get to know each other better. He admitted that he didn't want to hurt her again, then she asked if he was scared of getting hurt. He told her he didn't want to play second fiddle to Jeremy. She urged him to speak his mind and not be scared of the outcome. She admitted she couldn't stop thinking about his kiss, then kissed him. "What if Jeremy was totally out of the picture?" she asked. He said they'd be doing a whole lot more than talking. They started making out. Bo and Kayla arrived to rescue them and caught them in a compromising position. The sibs excused themselves so the duo could dress. "My mom catches me almost doing it with one guy and I'm supposed to be in love with another," Steph sighed. Max gave her a kiss and a piece of quartz that he found as a memento of their extreme skydiving experience. Max left with Bo; Steph and Kayla had a discussion about Steve and the murder coverup. After, Kayla asked about Max and Jeremy. Steph said it was over with Jer. Kayla revealed he was back in Salem. Before they could discuss it further, Max came back in to tell them that the rescue helicopter was there.

In the hospital, Lucas brought Sami milk to toast the end of the DiMera dynasty, but she wasn't in the mood. He left to get a surprise he had for her. She flashed back to kissing EJ. Enter a clown, with balloons in hand. "Are you Lucas's surprise?" she asked. The clown twirled, then presented her with flowers. A creeped-out Sami told him she didn't like clowns —or mimes — and suggested he go to the children's ward. Turns out, it was Andre. Sami tried to scream, but he covered her mouth and threatened to kill her. He asked her if Stefano was really dead, then menacingly flashed a blade. She insisted Lucas saw Stefano's dead body. Lucas finally returned and asked, "Who sent in the clown?" Andre left, then Sami revealed who it was. Lucas went after him; Sami called Roman, who put a guard at her door. Lucas came back, followed by Roman, who told them the truth, that Stefano was alive, then swore them to secrecy. Unbeknownst to all of them, Andre was prowling the corridors, dressed as a nurse.

Thursday

There, Shawn and Hope clashed over his feelings about Belle helping Philip.
Hope warned her son that he's going to ruin his relationship all on his
own. Shawn explained he doesn't know how to handle everything. Hope said it
is the best time of his life, and told him to enjoy it.

Roman ran into Kate outside of the Brady pub. Kate asked Roman why he
"bothers with her." Tony and Anna walked in. Roman informed Anna that Kate
is staying in his guest room while Andre is on the loose. "Kate, what a
delight. It's been so many years," Tony smiled. Roman and Anna excused
themselves from the booth, leaving Tony and Kate alone. Outside, Anna
flirted with Roman, and thanked him for protecting them. Anna was putting on
a show for Kate, who in return, became touchy-feely with Tony. Back at the
table, the women took jabs at each other. Bo asked Tony for a private chat,
which left Kate and Anna alone to spar. "I heard you were revisiting your
ever-so-checkered past with Stefano," Anna smiled. Tony told Bo to watch his
back. At the bar, Shawn told Kate he hopes she and Philip get what they
deserve.

Roman lifted Stefano's coffin and told him he lived his life thinking
everything was his fault, and he is there to settle the score. He put a gun to
Stefano's face. "That day is now," he said. A guy delivered flowers for
Roman, which confused him. Bo, Hope and Anna arrived. Hope found a card in
the mysterious bouquet and handed it to Roman. "Roman, what is it?" Anna
asked. Meanwhile, Kate was left alone at the bar yelling for a missing Shawn
to make her another drink. Someone was adamant about getting in the pub —
shaking the door. Kate realized she was in danger and screamed.

Sami yelled at EJ to leave her hospital room, but then confided in him that
Stefano is really alive. She encouraged him to go to the funeral to make it
look real— while she was going to continue reading the letters to figure out
how to end the Brady/DiMera feud. She read the notes out loud to EJ, as we
saw Santo and Colleen kiss. Sami admitted she feels like what's happening in
the letters is happening to her. "I have been there more times in my life
than I care to count," she said. "When you want someone so passionately, you
are in the moment and don't care about who gets hurt." Santo asked Colleen
if she can give up on love. Sami was on Colleen's side, while EJ was
cheering on Santo as the duo fell into bed. Sami told EJ her fate is to be
with Lucas. When she got a pain in her stomach, she called her unborn baby
Roman Thomas, much to EJ's surprise. Sami fretted as Colleen told Santo she
loves him and he asked her to marry him. Colleen told him he'd have his
answer soon. EJ realized the poem Colleen recited was by Yates, and pointed
out that they knew their love was their destiny.

Belle cried to Philip about having to defend herself to Shawn, who doesn't
trust her. She explained she thinks it's only fair for her to help Philip
find his kid. Philip told Belle she should go home and doesn't need to help
him. She admitted she resents Shawn for changing her life. Philip comforted
his ex. They were interrupted by a knock on the door. It was April, who told
Philip something was wrong. She handed him a note, which Lauren left behind,
saying he'll never see his son. Philip didn't understand why Lauren didn't
just take the money he offered her. Belle encouraged him to continue
searching for his son. "I'll always be here for you," she assured.

Friday

Andre broke down the door at the pub and threatened Kate, who told him Shawn
was there somewhere. DiMera ordered Kate to trick Roman into coming there.
She pretended as though Roman hated her, so her calling him would not get
him there. Andre cornered her. "No. I'm not going to help you hurt him," she
said. Andre put his hands around Kate's throat and told her she just made
her last mistake. Shawn surprised him from behind and they fought, but Andre
knocked the younger guy out. Kate grabbed the phone and called for help.
Andre forced Kate to help him drag an unconscious Shawn to the freezer.
Belle arrived at the pub and thought it was strange that the door was
locked. She used a key and walked in on Kate drinking alone — but not for
long; Andre walked in. Kate broke a bottle over Andre's head, so Belle
called Bo and told him that Shawn is in trouble. Andre snatched the phone
and told the cop he will hurt Kate and Belle unless Bo does what he says.
They hung up, and Andre held Kate and Belle at knife point. He locked Belle
in the freezer, where she woke up Shawn. She told him that Philip slept on
the couch in Tusla, and Shawn is the man she loves. They made up and tried
to keep each other warm. Shawn nearly passed out. In the restaurant, Andre
continued to threaten Kate to call Roman as they watched surveillance of
Stefano's funeral. She refused to get Roman killed.

The note on the flowers sent to Roman was a condolence note from Andre — in
other words, a death threat. John and Marlena joined everyone at Stefano's
fake funeral. Marlena pulled Roman aside and asked if he was okay with being
a target for Andre. He said it was fine because it was protecting their
daughter. Lexie and Abe arrived with Benji, who broke down at Stefano's
coffin. Anna expressed her interest in Roman to Hope. Bo, Roman and Willy
discussed their plot with the empty coffin. Tony hinted to Lucas that Sami
and EJ were together. Lucas took off to find out if it was the truth. After
Andre's call, Bo covered when Hope asked why he's fleeing the funeral home.
She knew something else was going on. Shortly after Bo left, Hope headed
out, too. Lexie encouraged her brother not to follow in their father's
footsteps. Benji was hiding a gun under the blanket on his lap. Shawn, Sr.
was at the service, recalling his past as a kid with the DiMeras. The
service began, and Roman stood in the back of the room. Benji had his hand
on his gun. Kate called Roman and told him Andre was outside of the pub and
she was scared.

Sami was annoyed that Santo pressured Colleen to answer his proposal right
away. "If I lose your love, it is something from which I will never
recover," Santo told Colleen. He asked her to trust him to be his wife
because he can't share her. "I won't be forced into a decision. Even for
you," she said. Santo gave her an ultimatum. "Me or the church," he said.
Colleen said she will answer him tomorrow. Sami continues to support
Colleen, while EJ is all for Santo. "You're just like Colleen," EJ pointed
out, adding that Sami refuses to give into what's in her heart. Sami kept
saying Santo killed Colleen, but EJ didn't think that's what happened. Sami
told EJ that Santo infected all the DiMera men, including him. Lucas walked
in and told EJ he had a message from Stefano; he wants him at the funeral.
Lucas told his rival to take off, then scolded his wife for spending time
with EJ. She defended herself by saying she was doing her best to end the
feud and isn't keeping secrets. "Are you sure you've got nothing to hide?"
he asked. She said she's just trying to protect their twins and needs to end
the vendetta.... Bo found EJ at the hospital and asked where Andre has
Shawn, Belle and Kate. Sami and Lucas heard the commotion and walked into
the hallway. Bo updated them and told EJ he better be telling the truth
about not knowing where Andre is. Sami told EJ to leave, but before doing
so, he quoted the letters. Hope arrived and Bo told her Andre has Belle and
Shawn and he doesn't know where they are.
