Days Of Our Lives Recaps

DAYS Week of November 29, 2010

Monday

Melanie and Nathan were still quarantined at the hospital and shared a sweet moment as they both agreed they feel awful. Mel giggled when Nate added that she may feel terrible but she still looks great. They tried to focus on the positive. Nate told Mel that she has a great husband and a loving mother; Mel added delivering baby Parker and Maggie to the list, as well as pointing out that she and Nate aren't fighting anymore either. Meanwhile, Daniel informed Carly that the duo have a mutation of the Luma virus and he has an antiviral but doesn't have time to test the drug and it could be too risky to administer to the patients. They agreed they need to administer it fast, so Daniel offered to test it on himself.

At the Kiriakis manse, Brady told Nicole he's going to the hospital to visit Mel. She told him not to worry about Vivian. She then revealed that EJ has his kids back for good and that she played a major part in it, explaining what happened with Ari's camera. Brady was upset. "You won't get out of this," he warned. Meanwhile, at the DiMeras', Kate was surprised to see EJ hanging out with his offspring. Elvis wondered aloud if he should thank her or destroy her for tattling to Sami, which prompted her to shoot EJ in the first place. Kate lashed out and called EJ selfish, advising him to take a long hard look at who he really is. They continued to bicker; Kate left in a huff.

Everyone was emotional at Sami and Rafe's, especially when little Allie asked about her brother and sister. Will was defensive and demanded to know what's going on, wondering if they'll ever see Johnny and Sydney again. Later, Sami called EJ to ask if Will and Allie can see their siblings. EJ refused to talk about it and hung up. Sami broke down in Rafe's arms again.

Back at the hospital, Carly advised Daniel against testing himself with the antivirus but he was insistent on saving their daughter; Carly couldn't stop him and agreed she wants to save Mel's life. He thanked her for her support and left to talk to Chloe, who could sense that something was going on by the way he was looking at baby Parker. Daniel explained his plan; Chloe freaked out but understood he's doing it because he's a devoted dad. Stephanie ran into Father Matt and felt guilty for what had happened to Mel and Nate for not telling them the truth before they got sick. She realized she could tell someone else but that the time isn't right. Meanwhile, Carly wrote a note to Daniel and grabbed the vial of antidote herself. She then entered the quarantined room, much to Mel's shock.

Nic arrived to see Sydney; EJ wasn't pleased but realized that Nic really does love the child and allowed her to spend time with Syd alone. Meanwhile, Kate marched over to Sami's to chide her for telling EJ that she was involved at all, but suggested that she might have a way to regain the upper hand while Stefano's still out of town‹ as long as Sami can live without her kids for a while longer. "My plan may be your only hope," she said. She took a call from Brady and had to jet to put out another fire. Sami fretted that Kate's plan will backfire and was upset about missing out on all the holiday hubbub with her kids.

Brady consoled Chloe about the Daniel situation. Later, she was overcome with guilt for all she'd done and begged Daniel not to suffer for her sins. Meanwhile, Daniel found the letter Carly had left for him and rushed out. He watched in horror as Carly injected herself with the antiviral. Kate showed up at the hospital, where Brady and Steph told her about the antiviral plan. Later, Brady pulled Kate aside to confirm that Vivian is in fact free; Kate worried about Viv seeking revenge. Steph told Philip that if the antiviral works, no one will be able to hide from the truth about him and Parker.

Rafe asked EJ for the kids for the holidays; he refused. Meanwhile, Sami was overcome with emotion when she spied Sydney with Nicole in the garden.

Tuesday

At the hospital, Daniel panicked when he saw Carly injecting herself with the antivirus. He knocked out a security guard and entered the isolation room. Carly begged him to let her proceed and they bickered. Carly then started feeling the affects of the virus. Carly and Mel shared a sweet moment as they expressed their love and Carly apologized again for what she'd done. Daniel gave Carly the antivirus. Mel begged her mom to stay strong.

Meanwhile, in the hallway, Stephanie told Philip that she knows he's Parker's father. He misinterpreted what she was trying to say; she was insistent that he know the truth. "Truth about what?" asked Chloe, who entered right at the wrong time. Steph held her tongue. Later, Adrienne and Justin showed up; Steph was a guilt-ridden mess. Steph spilled to her aunt that Phil and Chloe are Parker's parents and recounted the paternity switch and her obligation to tell the truth.

At the DiMera manse, Rafe continued his plea to EJ, hoping to make an arrangement for the kids over the holidays. EJ didn't bite and reminded Rafe that Sami will go to prison if she even goes near them, adding that Sami uses everyone, even her children, to get her way. Rafe tried one more time to persuade EJ by showing him a family photo of the kids but he just ripped it up and continued his anti-Sami tirade.

In the garden, Nicole caught Sami spying on her with Syd and warned her to leave. Sami lashed out at Nic for going to EJ. Nic, in turn, pointed out the deep connection she has with the child. Sami refused to leave without Sydney. Nic grabbed Sami's arm and yelled for EJ, who came rushing out with Rafe. Nic retreated to the house with Syd as Sami while EJ threatened to show their children her videotaped confession on their birthdays; Sami ran
off.

Ben told Chloe about Daniel and Carly's careless actions. He was miffed; Chloe freaked out. Back in isolation, Daniel tended to ailing Nathan, who was convinced he was going to die. He suddenly declared his love for Mel and said he should've told Daniel the truth.

Rafe caught up with Sami at the pier. She was upset at herself for ruining his attempt to talk some sense into EJ and said she can't handle being without her kids any longer.... Phil assured Chloe that he'll carry out Daniel's wishes to take care of her and Parker if things go bad. Adrienne advised Steph to think long and hard before she blows the truth out of the water, especially now that she could lose Nathan anyway.... Mel desperately tried to keep Carly focused. After telling Mel she loves her, Carly lost consciousness.

Wednesday

Stefano returned from his trip. EJ was delighted to inform his pop that he has proof that Sami shot him and now Sydney and Johnny are his custody but he's concerned that it won't last. When EJ explained that it all happened because of Nicole, Stefano was miffed‹ especially since it means she's back in their lives. EJ explained he just wants to keep Syd happy but Stefano didn't like the plan at all. EJ lashed out at Kate and spilled the beans that she started everything and wants her to pay; Stefano wanted to
take care of it. Then he advised EJ to give up his fight against Sami. "She is the sun in your solar system." EJ was insistent on revenge.

Nicole and Brady hit the sheets. After, Nic admitted she's afraid EJ will back out on their deal for her to spend time with Syd, but remained hopeful that DiMera would work with her. She wanted to cheer Brady up. He was still burned that she had a role in handing Syd over to EJ.

At the prison, Tina informed Hope that Pam wasn't transferred to University Hospital like she'd been told, but is undergoing surgery there at the prison. Hope worried that Pam would die. She asked Tina to fetch the warden. Meanwhile, the warden caught up with Bo and broke the news about Hope's solitary confinement and suggested limited contact with her family; Bo was dubious and wanted to meet with Hope's psychiatrist.

At the hospital, Jennifer made a desperate call to Bo to tell him about Carly. Phil caught Kate up on the situation. She, in turn, told him that Vivian is free and warned him about what she might do. She stuck around; Phil surmised she's afraid to go home. She later called Sami to say she tried to neutralize EJ but it didn't work so they're both screwed. In isolation, Nathan's condition was worsening. Carly was unconscious; Daniel administered CPR while Melanie broke down in tears. Phil and Jennifer rushed to the isolation room and were horrified to see Daniel desperately trying to revive Carly, who finally woke up. Mel was relieved and they shared a tender hug. Nathan began convulsing

Jen went to the chapel to see Chloe and Stephanie; sharing a charged moment with Ben on her way out. Later, Bo arrived at the hospital, where he read the letter Carly left for him. Bo shared a glance with Carly through the isolation room window. Ben later informed everyone that the antiviral is working on Carly and he's optimistic that everyone will survive. Phil was affected when he spied Mel and Nate tenderly holding each other in isolation. Everyone was seemingly on the mend; Daniel asked Nathan what important thing he needed to say to him before. Nate couldn't recall. Nate then asked Mel where they stand with each other now.

Back at the prison, the Warden visited Hope who said she can't allow another innocent person to die, explaining that she doesn't think the other deaths were accidents. Hope pleaded with her to stop the surgery. She agreed to go talk to Lee and make sure Hope gets her job back at the infirmary. The Warden told Lee that Hope knows everything but isn't worried.

EJ approached Nicole to set some ground rules. She had to chose between having Brady or Sydney in her life.... Jennifer and Bo shared a laugh talking about how Gran busted Bo and Roman out of jail years ago. He took her actions as inspiration to go deal with the Hope situation.... Kate returned home, knowing that Stefano is upset with her.

Thursday

Sami summoned her family to the Pub, where she broke the news that she won't be able to see her kids ever again. "EJ's holding all the cards and he knows it." Roman was convinced there's something they can do but Sami was at a loss. She simply wanted her family's support to play EJ's way but noted that the fight is far from over.

Rafe hired a diver to jump in the water to locate the gun that Sami shot EJ with. He couldn't find it, surmising that it moved downstream or someone else found it already. Later, Rafe told Sami that he couldn't find the gun and worried that EJ has already discovered it.

Lexie asked EJ about the situation with Sami, concerned that he did
something bad to get his kids back. He pussy footed around telling her what happened. She called him out on taking revenge simply because Sami wed Rafe and was stunned that EJ is refusing to let Sami see her kids ever again. "She's not their mother anymore," he seethed. Lexie was upset until EJ spilled that Sami's the one who shot him. When Johnny asked when Mommy was going to pick him up, EJ was affected and didn't know what to say. Later, EJ called Sami to say that he knows she's looking for the gun and she'll never find it. Sami was upset.

At the DiMera manse, Stefano railed against Kate again for lying to him
during the drama surrounding EJ's shooting. She explained her case, saying she had her grandchildren in mind. She didn't want EJ to take the kids away forever and knew Stefano wouldn't even consider her emotions if that happened. Kate was emotional, adding that she sympathizes and brought up the time when her own children were taken away from her by her lunatic husband. She apologized for acting on impulse and wanted to move on, but Stefano wasn't ready just yet. He then got a call that his paternity test results are in and that someone from the hospital and Chad are on their way over. Stefano was surprised by how well Kate was taking the (possible) sudden son news and suspicious that she had something else to tell him.

At the hospital, Maggie was on the mend but still exhausted. Vivian suddenly entered her room. Mags wondered why Viv isn't in jail and outraged. Viv explained she's seeking revenge and said that if Mags even thinks about going to the authorities, then Viv will make sure everyone Maggie loves will pay dearly for their own actions.

At the Pier, Will told Chad that he's in for one hell of a ride if he is in
fact a DiMera and brought up what EJ is doing to Sami.

Roman confronted EJ and they traded barbs. Roman wondered if EJ really wants to be the kind of father that, his beef with Sami aside, cuts Allie out of her brother and sister's lives. Roman threatened with the law; EJ said he could the same. Meanwhile, Lexie encountered Rafe and Sami, who was desperate to get an update on her kids. Lexie gave her the cold shoulder and said EJ has reason to do what he's doing.

Back at the DiMeras, Kate stepped away to take a call; Stefano flashed back to the moment Chad claimed to be his son and surmised that Kate's known about it for a while. She finally copped to it, but explained that she was only honoring Madeline's wishes by keeping it from him and wanted to give Chad a choice to be a DiMera. Stefano was outraged that she'd kept his son away from him and told her to get out of his house.

Friday

At the hospital, Maggie was upset to hear that it was a group effort to keep Vivian in the sarcophagus and demanded that Victor tell her the truth. He
explained that it was done to keep her safe, which just upset her even more.

Daniel came home. Chloe was upset that Parker wouldn't stop crying and
thought something was wrong. Daniel said it's just colic and coddled Chloe,
who was convinced she's a terrible mom. She also burned the lasagna for
dinner.

Philip shared a warm reunion with Melanie, who was on the mend and out of
the isolation room. She had a renewed sense of appreciation for life. Phil,
however, couldn't help flashing back to seeing his wife hugging Nathan. They
went home, where Mel joked about Phil being her butler, but she also thought
about kissing Nathan. Later, she wanted to return to the hospital to visit
Maggie and asked why she's there, anyway. Phil kept mum. Meanwhile,
Stephanie and Nathan also shared a steamy reunion. Steph apologized for
being so needy before and explained she just feared losing him. Nathan
flashed back to his moment with Mel in isolation. He wanted to tell Steph
about it but Maxine interrupted, telling Nate to see one of his patients,
Mrs. Lang.

At the DiMera manse, Stefano kicked Kate out of the house. After, Chad
showed up along with someone from the hospital. The test results were handed
over to Stefano. They confirmed that Chad and Stefano are in fact father and
son. Stefano seemed pleased. He promptly wrote a check to pay for Chad's
tuition, board and expenses for college. Chad surmised he was being bought
off but Stefano was welcoming, saying blood is thicker than anything, and
even asked his son to move in; Chad refused, citing what Will said. He said
he asked for the test because of what happened to Grace and that he's sick
of all the lies. Victor suggested it could be a fresh start for them. Chad
was too upset about his childhood and what happened to Grace. "Everything
you give comes with a price tag. I don't want to turn into another EJ," Chad
spat. Stefano upped the ante, saying that Chad may not have a choice. Chad
walked out.

Phil and Mel went to see Maggie, who got so upset that she threw things
around her room. Mel was concerned. She stepped out while Mags told Phil she
knows what he did and demanded that he tell Mel the truth‹ just as Mel
entered, of course. Phil 'fessed up to what happened to both Viv and Maggie
and his role in it. Mel was stunned but forgave him.

Meanwhile, Victor was miffed that his relationship with Mags was on the
outs, thanks to Viv. "I should've let Bo kill you," he huffed and was
outraged that Viv even considered that they could make a go of it again. He
was determined to make her pay for all the suffering she's caused. They
bickered. Viv ran off; Victor made a call to Kate, who met him. Victor
expressed his concern that Viv's revenge scheme won't fail this next time
and they'll all pay. He wanted to put a guard on Kate; she refused. Stefano,
who lurked in the shadows, spied the duo talking.

Back at the hospital, Nate visited one of his dying patients, who talked
about her soul mate; Nate flashed to Melanie. Later, Steph brought up what
Nate was about to tell her. He fibbed, saying he just realized he needed to
get better so they could share a long life together. He went to see Maggie.
Steph was certain that if she and Nate can survive the Luma virus drama,
then they can make it through the other stuff, too. So, she called Caroline.

Viv met Gus at the Pub. She was in a very chipper mood, explaining that she
has a plan to get even with Victor and company now and it's her most
outrageous plot yet.
