Monday
Sami was alarmed to overhear Rafe 2 encouraging Johnny to be physically violent with a classmate. Rafe 2 insisted that Johnny needed to know how to fight for protection. "You wanna know the worst thing you can be when you're a kid?" Rafe 2 asked. "Different!" Sami countered that Rafe 2 was simply teaching Johnny to be a bully. "He can't go around punching people," Sami insisted, "and thinking violence is the answer!" When Rafe 2 left for the station, Sami had a talk with Johnny.
At the police station, Rafe 2 logged onto a computer and looked up an old picture of himself from his criminal past.
Realizing that Carly was still in pain over losing Bo, Daniel visited Bo at the police station and berated him for his treatment of Carly. "The last thing I ever wanted was to hurt her," Bo defended. Daniel apologized for basting Bo. "You're just trying to help her," Bo acknowledged. "I'm glad she has you in her corner."
Adrienne told Jennifer that Justin proposed. Jennifer tried to be happy, but she was preoccupied with thoughts of Jack's whereabouts. Jennifer shared that she was anxious to find Jack so that they could divorce. Later, Daniel ran into Jennifer at the Brady pub and coaxed her into playing a game of darts.
Nathan was harsh with a nurse when he learned that Melanie had checked out. Maggie overheard Nathan's rant and reprimanded him. Nathan calmed down and informed Maggie that things were over between him and Melanie. Elsewhere, Melanie confided the same thing to Carly. Melanie was touched when Carly gave her a necklace that had personal significance. Nathan phoned Melanie and she reminded him that it was over between them. Carly could see that Melanie was distressed by the call. Later, Nathan stopped by to see Melanie and Carly ordered him not to try and see her again. Nathan refused to accept that things were over between him and Melanie.
Will and Gabi confronted Kinsey about Gabi's stolen earrings and Bo had to stop the girls from fighting. Kinsey explained to Bo that she bought the earrings at a local pawnshop. After Kinsey left, Will and Gabi decided to do some investigating of their own. Meanwhile, the thief had trouble making money for a deal he was trying to arrange. At the pawnshop, Will persuaded the clerk to let them see the tape and Gabi was stunned by what she saw. Gabi revealed that she knew the person in the video. At the pier, the thief spotted Melanie, and the expensive necklace she was wearing.
Tuesday
Sami opened up to Brady about how troubled she was hearing Rafe 2 encouraging Johnny to fight. "I don't trust him alone with my kids," Sami confessed. Brady suggested that Sami might have been mistaken and stressed that everything would be okay. Sami's position changed again when she learned from Johnny that Rafe gave him boxing lessons. "You can't hit people," Sami reminded her son. At the Brady pub, Rafe 2 tried to enjoy his break when Caroline commented that Sami and the kids were on the way over. Rafe 2 rushed out. When Sami arrived, Caroline said it seemed like Rafe 2 was trying to avoid her. Sami left the children with Caroline and headed for the police station to confront Rafe.
The thief tried to steal Carly's necklace from Melanie, but she caught on to him. Melanie pulled the necklace from the thief's pocket and confronted him. When the thief denied that he stole her necklace, Melanie grabbed him and screamed for the police. As they struggled, Brady arrived and they escorted the thief to the police station. Meanwhile, Gabi and Will got the security video with the thief on it from the pawnbroker. Gabi wanted Rafe to see the video, but had trouble reaching him on the phone. Gabi revealed to Will that she knew the thief and was scared. At the station, Rafe 2 entered and thief, who was in handcuffs, commented, "Rafe, just the person I wanted to see!" Rafe 2 didn't recognize the thief. Gabi, Will and Sami all arrived at the same time. Gabi looked at the thief and cried, "Dario!" Sami focused on Rafe 2, puzzled by his behavior.
Elsewhere at the station, Melanie and Brady waited in an office while the police decided what to do with the thief. Melanie thanked Brady for helping her.
Lexie questioned why Taylor was moving into the DiMera mansion with EJ and Nicole, considering her feelings for him. Taylor remarked that she must do it for Fay and Nicole, regardless of her attraction toward EJ. "The situation is temporary. I'll be out of the DiMera mansion before you know it," Taylor assured. "You may be a saint, but my brother isn't," Lexie warned. Meanwhile, EJ insisted to Stefano that the real Rafe be moved out of the basement. Stefano didn't understand until Taylor arrived with her bags and Nicole announced that Fay and Taylor were moving in. Later, a disgusted Stefano looked at EJ and asked, "Have you lost your mind?" EJ explained that Fay was sick and he promised Nicole her family could move into the mansion. EJ insisted he wouldn't go back on his promise. Stefano wondered if EJ had ulterior motives for wanting Rafe out and Taylor in. "I'm not going to dignify your question with an answer," EJ responded.
Kate questioned why EJ was in a rush to have her get Allie out of town. Stefano interrupted and the two managed to evade Kate's questions.
Chad visited Lexie at the hospital and commented on Abe's warning that it wasn't too late for him to get away from the DiMeras. Lexie explained that Abe had a history of problems with the DiMeras. Chad admitted that he felt like an imposter at EJ and Nicole's wedding. Lexie assured Chad that she, Stefano and EJ accepted him as part of the family. Before Chad left, Lexie gave him a warm hug. Soon after, Kate overheard Lexie arguing with EJ over the phone about Taylor moving in. After Lexie finished, Kate questioned Lexie about the call. Lexie avoided answering Kate's questions, which further aroused her curiosity.
Wednesday
Rafe 2 realized that the thief who stole Gabbi's earrings is none than "his brother," Dario. Rafe 2 slipped away and called Stefano for advice. "You and your brother hate each other's guts," Stefano pointed out. He ordered Rafe 2 to come over for a refresher course in Rafe's personal history and limit his contact in the meantime. Gabbi pleaded with Rafe 2 to go easy on Dario, but Rafe 2 insisted he was unable to help Dario. Rafe 2 encouraged Melanie to press charges against Dario. A frustrated Gabbi commented to Sami that she felt like Rafe was a stranger. While Gabbi, Will and Sami looked on, Rafe 2 informed Dario that Melanie was pressing charges.
"What's going on with you?" Dario asked Rafe 2. "Something has changed. You're not the brother I grew up with." Rafe 2's tough love stance with Dario made both Sami and Will think that the old Rafe had returned. Sami prayed that the old Rafe was back for good.
Stefano instructed his henchmen to take away the real Rafe's belongings. Rafe secretly managed to palm his safe house key, knowing that it was the only tie to his old life. Later, Rafe was led out for the cell for parts unknown.
EJ, Taylor and Nicole made awkward small talk as the sexual tension between Taylor and EJ grew. When Taylor excused herself, Nicole blamed EJ for pushing her to leave. "I didn't think you would act so bored," Nicole complained. "You didn't even look at her!" EJ defended that he has welcomed both Taylor and Fay into his home. "But you have reservations," Nicole responded. EJ argued that he allowed Taylor and Fay to move in because he wanted to make her happy. That night, Taylor had trouble sleeping. While wandering through the DiMera mansion, she ran into a shirtless EJ. Later, EJ passed Taylor's bedroom door and resisted the temptation to knock.
Brady accompanied Melanie home and they further bonded. Melanie confided to Brady that the time for her to be with Nathan had passed. "And we're never going to get it back again," Melanie insisted.
Daniel warned Chloe that he was filing for divorce. "I didn't realize that it would hit me like this," Chloe told Philip. "I feel like I'm losing everything all over again." Philip comforted Chloe.
Thursday
Chad stopped by the DiMera mansion to see Stefano and EJ said he wasn't home. EJ suggested Chad try phoning Stefano the next time he wanted to see him. Chad felt EJ was brushing him off. Later, EJ and Taylor wound up in the mansion alone. "How do you really feel about my sister?" Taylor asked. EJ recounted his history with Nicole and noted, "Now I find that I've reconnected with many of the first feelings I had... She makes me very happy." EJ added that Nicole is a great mother to his children. "I do love your sister," he summed up. "But I'm not in love." EJ and Taylor's fingertips touched and the moment was electric for both of them. Later, the two exchanged a passionate kiss.

Rafe 2 tried to learn all he could about Dario. "You're a total screw up," Stefano snapped. "You should have had this memorized by now!" Meanwhile, Gabi and Will enlisted Justin's help in trying to free Dario. He made arrangements for Gabi to visit her brother in jail. Gabi introduced Justin to Dario and said Justin was his new lawyer. "I think I can get you released on bail," Justin shared. Melanie overheard the conversation and insisted, "I'm not going to let that happen!" Melanie learned that Dario was Gabi and Rafe's brother. She wondered why Rafe didn't say anything to her. Melanie and Dario exchanged harsh words and a detective ordered Melanie to leave. Justin informed Dario that he was free to go. Gabi suggested Dario move in with Rafe. The idea made Rafe 2 uncomfortable. Outside the station, Melanie promised Will that she intended to make Dario's life a living hell.
Jennifer informed Abigail that she was filing for divorce from Jack. Abigail was supportive, but secretly she wished her parents weren't divorcing. At the Brady pub, Abigail confided to Will that her life was a horrible, depressing mess and explained that her parents were getting divorced. Chad entered and Will left him alone with Abigail. To Abigail's surprise, Chad was very compassionate toward her. Abigail apologized to Chad for being mean to him because his father was a DiMera. A mix up caused Daniel and Jennifer to get each other's divorce papers. Since they were both going through the same thing, the two lent each other emotional support. Later, Jennifer kissed Daniel on the cheek as a gesture of friendship, and Daniel finally removed his wedding ring.
Friday
Taylor pulled away from EJ's kiss and slapped him. Nicole arrived and noticed the tension between EJ and Taylor. EJ covered and said he was comforting Taylor about Fay. Later, Taylor confided to Nicole that things weren't good between her and EJ. Nicole asked Taylor to give EJ time and promised he would come around. "Relax," Nicole smiled. "Before long, we'll be one, big happy family." Later, Nicole spoke with Brandon on the phone and updated him on Taylor. EJ went to Taylor's room and apologized for his behavior.
While discussing Rafe's odd behavior, Sami told Daniel that Rafe's brother Dario stole Melanie's necklace. Sami said she was impressed by how Rafe handled Dario. Daniel advised Sami to be patient with Rafe. At the station, Rafe II was reluctant to let Dario stay at the loft and claimed Sami wouldn't like it. Gabi was upset by Rafe II's decision. Rafe II met with Sami at the pier and lied that he was concerned for Dario, but didn't think it would be a good idea for him to stay at the loft because of the kids. Meanwhile, at the Brady pub, Justin advised Dario that he needed to establish roots in Salem because it would look good to the judge. Later, Dario sat with Gabi while she babysat Johnny. Sami arrived and Johnny said he liked Dario. "He's just like Rafe!" Johnny grinned. Rafe II met with EJ at the pier and said Dario would be a problem. He wanted EJ and Stefano to take care of the new sib. Instead, EJ advised Rafe II to do his research on the Henandez family and keep his distance from Dario. Later, Sami went to the station and told Rafe II that she had a change of heart about Dario and invited him to stay with them. Rafe II lost his cool and threw his cup of coffee at the wall.
Nathan insisted to Melanie that he wasn't giving up on their romance. Melanie asked Nathan to leave and said things were over between them. Later, Melanie asked Daniel if she was making a mistake. Daniel assured his daughter that she was doing the right thing. Melanie added that she was following through on the divorce from Philip. "Whatever you do, I will always support you," Daniel promised. At the hospital, Daniel told Nathan that he needed to find a way to move on from Melanie. "There's a whole world out there, man," Daniel noted. "See where it takes you." Later, Nathan made a call to see if the fellowship at John Hopkins was still available. Melanie visited Rafe and Sami's loft and was shocked to discover that Dario had moved in.
Adrienne informed Justin that their sons couldn't make time for their wedding until at least December. Justin refused to postpone the ceremony and said they could visit their sons at a later date.
