DAYS Week of December 3, 2007

Monday

At the sorority house, Chelsea showed the girls the photos she and Nick took in Ford's room to give them a heads up about his tactics. She was confident they could take him down. "Who's with me on this? It is time to make Ford the victim for a change," she declared. Meanwhile, Ford welcomed a comely coed into his room and date raped her, despite her saying no and crying. "You were great tonight," he assured her. She went into the woods and weeped. Back at the house, Chelsea outlined her plan to nail Decker, which included luring him over to the house and having one of the sisters act as bait and trap him right before he attacked one of them. Chelsea asked Slone to be the decoy, but she was reluctant. Slone eventually agreed. She called Ford and asked him to come over. Ford, who must have gotten a second wind, said he would. Chelsea mobilized the sisters.

At the Cheatin' Heart, Max and Stephanie engaged in some playful banter over her tips. Adrienne had to leave to help her son Joey study for an exam. Max and Steph agreed to close the bar for her. They talked about Morgan. Max confessed that he didn't mind having a night off from her. He asked about Jeremy. She said she hadn't heard his name in a while. "I'm the fool for ever dating that loser. How come you never tried to stop me" she joked. Max admitted that he had nothing in common with Morgan, that they didn't eat the same foods or like the same movies. He asked Steph to keep mum about his real feelings for Morgan because he didn't want to hurt her feelings. Steph agreed not to tell. They got close and nearly kissed, but the juke box started playing randomly and they pulled apart. Max took her hand, but she snatched it away. He asked if she was okay. She said yes. They danced together to the music in the bar. There was a knock at the door: it was Chelsea, who told Steph about the plot to get Ford. Steph and Chelsea returned to the house.

Sami donned a sexy black outfit for a surprised Lucas. "The only thing missing is a pole," he cracked, then added that she looked "real hot." He started kissing her, but worried that it was too soon after the babies. She assured him that she was ready to rock his world. Stefano brought EJ home from the hospital. EJ decided to knock on Sami and Lucas's door first. Sami went to the door, over Lucas's protestations, and saw through the peephole that it was Stefano. She told Lucas to button his shirt, but he refused and took his shirt off entirely. "Let him know what he's interrupting," Lucas explained. Sami opened the door to EJ. "Hello, darling. Your husband's home," he smiled. She was surprised he'd been released. "Where is Giovanni?" Stefano asked. "His name's Johnny. He's asleep," Lucas snarled and showed them the door. Stefano refused to leave without the baby. EJ said he'd handle the matter. Stefano walked out. EJ told them that he wanted his boy. Sami agreed to give him the baby. Lucas wasn't thrilled. EJ and his father cooed over the infant, then took him home. Sami stayed behind with Lucas, who was unhappy that their romantic evening was once again ruined by the DiMeras. Sami went to check on the baby and overheard father and son talking about living in Italy. Sami insisted that she was not moving to Florence and that Johnny would be raised all American. She went to put the baby down; Stefano sighed that Sami was going to be a problem and left. Sami came back in the room and fetched some things for EJ. He asked her to stay at his place. She said she had to get back to Lucas and Allie. She suggested he hire a private nurse, but he asked her why he needed a nurse if he had her. He playfully pulled her into his wheelchair, then began kissing her neck. Lucas picked just that moment to walk in.

Tuesday

Philip fantasized that Belle left Shawn.... In their room at the Pub, Shawn gave Belle a sexy massage. "I think it's better than sex," she joked. Belle then got serious and told Shawn that she wasn't the same innocent girl he fell in love with. "I'm not perfect," she said softly. "Maybe not, but you are perfect for me," he replied.

At the Brady house, Bo reported to Hope that ballistics matched the gun Shawn found to a bullet taken out of the altar. Hope was thrilled for her son and hoped that Philip wouldn't try and sabotage Shawn again. Bo revealed that Belle, not Philip, wrote the damaging letter to the Academy. Hope was floored. Bo explained that Shawn knew the truth and that Belle did it because she was worried about the danger of Shawn being a cop. Hope acknowledged that she still worried whenever Bo left the house, but couldn't understand why Belle would go behind Shawn's back. Hope then commented that Bo was right and they should have told Shawn about Belle's affair with Philip. He asked why she changed her mind. She told him about the voicemail message Philip left on the day of the wedding. An upset Bo wanted to tell Shawn the truth right away, but Hope wanted to talk to Marlena first. Bo was uncomfortable with lying to their son. Hope agreed and suggested they decide what to do after talking to Doc Evans. After, they got romantic.

Lucas attacked EJ after finding Sami on his lap. Sami pulled him off, worried about EJ's health. EJ asked her for a painkiller. Lucas asked why Sami was all over EJ. Sami said she fell and EJ caught her. EJ busted her for lying and suggested she tell Lucas the truth. Lucas asked what he meant. EJ reported that Sami was falling in love with him. "She admitted her feelings while we were in the hospital together," he added. Lucas told him he was delusional, but EJ pressed Sami to confess. Sami remained mum. A saddened Lucas walked out. Sami blasted EJ for hurting her ex. EJ wondered why she cared so much. He asked her to stay the night. She said she couldn't and had to go work things out with Lucas for the twins' sake. She bid him goodnight and went across the hall. A suspicious Lucas told her to go back to her husband. Sami insisted that she wasn't falling for EJ and that she loves Lucas.

At the sorority house, Chelsea showed the sisters the supplies she gathered for the Ford attack. Cordy worried they were going to hurt him, but Chelsea said they were just going to scare him and teach him a lesson he'd never forget. The girls fretted about keeping Sloan safe. Ford called her, which prompted a panicky Sloan to back out of the plan. A brave Chelsea decided to take her place. Ford arrived and banged on the door. Chelsea told everyone to hide. She answered the door to a surprised Ford. She apologized for passing out the flyers and told him that she knew he didn't really rape Cordy. He accused her of making nice so he didn't sue her for defamation of character. She insisted she wasn't and tried to convince him that she was interested in him. She offered to make him a drink. He accepted. She went into the other room to get it, where the girls drugged it. She brought it back in the room. He asked her to put some music on. He drugged her drink while she was gone. When she returned, he told her he didn't drink drinks he didn't pour. She sipped his to prove it was okay. Chelsea began to feel sleepy. Ford told her she was about to get everything she deserved and forced himself on her. Stephanie came running out, telling him to stop.

Wednesday

Stefano sat by the fire, looking at a note that said, "The truth is coming." Dr. Rolf entered in bloody scrubs and asked if his boss had received another threat. Stefano said yes and that the message was the same. Rolf suggested it was a crank. "No, Rolf. My old nemesis is alive and returning to exact vengeance, but this time it's not gonna end. It cannot, until one of us is dead." Stefano admitted to being concerned about Elvis because he was a sucker for love. Stefano then asked Rolf how the surgery went. Rolf said it was a success and that the patient was recovering. Stefano asked if it would be long. "No, no, no. He will be at your disposal soon," Rolf assured.

EJ cooed over baby Johnny. Anna and Tony came by to visit. Anna delighted in holding the baby. They reported that they were going abroad for an extended stay. Anna left to change Johnny's diaper so the men could talk. EJ asked what Tony wanted. Tony offered advice on how to protect Johnny — from Stefano. EJ insisted the tot was safe from Stefano's clutches. "I never realized how nave you really are," Tony noted.

Lucas didn't believe Sami when she said she didn't really love EJ. "You tell me you're lying to the guy. How do I know you're not lying to me?" Lucas asked. She defended herself. "We're nothing," he said. "You got your new marriage bed. You made it, sleep in it." He ordered her out, but she wouldn't go. She then grabbed him and kissed him. Lucas tried to push her off, but he got caught up in the passion and they went at it on the couch. After, Sami vowed that she would never stop fighting for him. Lucas wasn't sure Sami could convince EJ that she was in love with him. Sami insisted she could be convincing. They started kissing again, then heard a knock at the door. EJ wheeled in with Johnny on his lap and asked if he was interrupting anything. "Interrupting, EJ? Sami's your wife. What could you possibly be interrupting?" a shirtless Lucas queried. EJ replied that Johnny needed to be with his sister, but Lucas refused to let Allie leave. EJ said he brought Johnny by to sleep at Lucas's apartment with Allie. "What's the catch?" Lucas asked. EJ insisted there was none and that the twins come first. He bid them goodnight and left.

At the sorority house, Ford attacked Chelsea. The girls ran out to stop him. Chelsea took off up the stairs. He followed her. She pushed him off and he fell down the stairs backwards. He wasn't breathing. The girls administered CPR and mouth-to-mouth, but he wouldn't wake up. "He's dead," Morgan grimly reported. A freaked out Chelsea started slapping Ford. The girls stopped her. Carmen suggested they call campus security, but Stephanie warned her they'd get blamed for his murder. "We didn't kill Decker," Carmen noted. Morgan agreed. Steph insisted they were still responsible. The girls debated what to do and agreed to hide the body and swore to keep mum.

Tony and Anna went to the DiMera manse on their way out of town. Tony implored his father to leave Johnny alone. "He is the heir to the DiMera name," Stefano scoffed. Tony warned that if Stefano tried to take Johnny from EJ, there would be hell to pay. Stefano was doubtful.

Thursday

Sami and Lucas got the twins ready before she took off for the day. She asked if they could lunch at Chez Rouge, but he said he was busy. Sensing that Lucas was being distant, Sami asked if something was wrong. He told her that he still wasn't comfortable with her pretending to be in love with EJ. After Sami left, EJ came by to see Johnny. He and Lucas discussed the turn of events with Sami's feelings for EJ. "She married you to get your old man off our backs. She pretty much hated you the whole time. And now she's kissing you. I guess that's it for me, huh? I need to throw in the towel" Lucas told him. "You won the fair maiden. It's time for me to bow out gracefully." EJ doubted his sincerity.

At the Brady Pub, Max helped out Caroline, explaining that Adrienne's sons were working off their high cell phone bills at the Cheatin' Heart, so he had some time on his hands. Caroline grilled her youngest about the women in his life. He said there wasn't anyone special.

At the sorority house, the girls discussed the aftermath of Ford's death. Chelsea was still feeling the effects of the drug she ingested in the drink and dreamed that Ford was alive and out to get her. Stephanie wanted to go to the basement and check on Ford, but the other girls were squeamish. "Why don't we just brick him up inside of a wall?" Cordy suggested. "You read too much Poe," Carmen replied. Steph urged them all to go to class and act normal and said she'd deal with the body. After the girls left, Steph called Max and asked for his help. He rushed over. She told him what happened with Ford. He asked why they didn't go to the police. She explained that she worried they'd be arrested. "Not reporting it immediately makes it look even worse, Steph," he said. (Ya think?) They were about to go down to the basement when they heard Chelsea shrieking. Steph ran upstairs and assured her she was just having a bad dream. Max returned from the basement and told them that yup, Ford's dead. He said he'd get rid of the body.

Sami visited Marlena and told her what happened the night before when Lucas walked in on her in EJ's lap. Marlena wasn't surprised to hear that Lucas was upset. Marlena again asked Sami how she felt about EJ. "What I feel for EJ is, like, loathing," she replied, then added, "Okay, maybe I do have more feelings for EJ than just loathing. Maybe I feel sorry for him." Marlena reminded her that EJ was a "monster" and "pure evil," then dropped the bomb that she may be going to prison for trying to kill him. Sami confronted her about being the woman in black at the wedding. Marlena told her she planned to avenge John's death, but then she felt as though his spirit kept her from doing it. Sami admitted she was worried about her mom.

Sami returned to the apartment and was surprised to see EJ and Lucas with the twins. EJ explained that they were having a nice chat, then left to go do his physical therapy. Once alone, Lucas told her he was congratulating EJ on winning her heart. She warned him not to do anything suspicious to make EJ think she was lying about liking him. Lucas pointed out to her that EJ's feelings for her are real. He then left to meet up with Kate at the Pub. Lucas asked Kate who she was gunning for at the church. She told him she wanted to harm EJ, not Sami. She insisted she was doing it for him. "Don't tell me you would kill for me," he sighed. She told him she had a plan that would end EJ and Sami's marriage once and for all.

EJ called Sami and asked her to come over right away because he needed him. Turns out, he fell out of his chair. (Or did he?) She helped him back into it and told him he needed a nurse. "I don't need a nurse, all right? If I need something, I need my wife in my apartment as opposed to next door with her lover!" he declared.

Friday

At the pub, Bo and Hope mulled over clues about the gun used in EJ's shooting and agreed that Kate is hiding something. They suspected she's protecting someone and wondered if it's Lucas. Abe arrived with a report, the firearm was traced to a known gun dealer in Cincinnati, who sounds like a rough woman.

While running on the treadmill, Philip fantasized that Belle, in a clingy red dress, slinked into his office to purr that she broke up with Shawn. In real life, Kate walked in and blasted him for not properly disposing of the gun. She griped that while she's facing jail time, Marlena hasn't been charged. She recalled spying on Roman as he suppressed evidence. Kate asked her son to call in a tip so that Roman will be investigated, but told him to wait until she gives the word. Then Kate departed.

Roman arrived at Marlena's place, she was ready for him and prepared to go to jail. He announced that according to the ballistics report, she's not the shooter. Then he produced the gun, saying, "no gun, no evidence, no charges." A touched Marlena tried to talk Roman out of destroying the evidence, but he refused and insisted she take the gun. "Well, well, well, what do we have here?" asked Kate. She threatened to report the cover-up, so Marlena turned herself in to spare Roman. A triumphant Kate left with a smirk.

At the sorority house, Max and Stephanie assured teary Chelsea that she didn't murder Ford and Max offered to get rid of the body. Chelsea railed at Stephanie for getting Max involved. She was further upset to find out that the corpse is stashed in the basement. Later on, while Max was tending to the corpse, Chelsea brought up turning herself in. Stephanie talked her out of it. A dirt-dappled Max returned with bad news, there is no way they can move the body because of the surveillance cameras that Billie installed. They resolved to bury Ford in the basement and to keep it a secret from the other sisters.... Chelsea and Stephanie were comforting each other when a shadowy figure holding a shovel walked in. They screamed at the sight of ... Ford?! No, it was Max, wearing the dead rapist's clothes. He reasoned that the security system captured Ford entering the house, so he had to make it look like Ford left. The girls pointed out that the cameras also captured Max's entrance, but he didn't think that would be an issue since nobody would be looking for him.

Roman caught up with Bo and Hope who were on their way out of the pub. He reported that Marlena was arrested, but he'd arranged for her to be released on bail. The Bradys noted that they have "a lead that might bust this case wide open." The duo headed off to see the dealer.
