Monday

Brady approached Arianna and demanded to know what was going on with Troy. Arianna explained Troy was high when they had their first run-in and apologized for it. He was now in a 12-step program trying to get clean, and she was giving him a second chance. Brady apologized. Soon, he and Arianna were kissing. Brady announced he wanted to "be alone" with Arianna. She wanted that, too. So they headed to the Kiriakis mansion. Later, Brady was on the phone talking business, while Arianna perused the mansion. She admitted being a little uncomfortable around all that wealth. The pair ended up back in each other's arms, when Brady suggested a swim. Neither had a swimsuit, but that didn't stop them. Later, they were on the chaise lounge getting hot and heavy. "I don't want to stop," moaned Arianna.
Daniel phoned Kate, noting he didn't want things to end the way they did between them. Kate was suspicious and wondered if Daniel was taping their conversation. He denied it, noting he wanted Kate to know what had been going on with him the past few months and make her realize she could trust him. Kate told Daniel not to call back and hung up. Seconds later, Kate's phone rang and it was Lucas. He needed her help deciding Chloe's fate. Kate met with Luca s, who showed her Chloe's living will. He wondered if it was time to take Chloe off life support. Kate encouraged Lucas to do it, insisting Chloe wasn't coming back. Lucas noted there was one consideration: if Chloe died, Daniel would be looking at murder one. Kate said they couldn't be certain Daniel would be convicted and encouraged Lucas to pull the plug.
Nathan and Melanie approached Daniel. Nathan wasn't sure he wanted to get involved with Daniel's plan to save Chloe. What if Daniel was just trying to finish her off? Daniel swore he wanted to save Chloe and begged Nathan to help him. Nathan finally agreed and went to fetch Chloe's files. Melanie told Daniel they had to move quickly, because Lucas was planning to take Chloe off life support, tonight. Nathan returned with Chloe's records. Daniel said he had to get into Chloe's room immediately. While Melanie distracted the cop guarding Chloe's door, Nathan went in and left a hypodermic needle. Then, he unlocked the side door, so Daniel could sneak in. Daniel entered, took the needle, and injected Chloe. Lucas and Kate arrived. Lucas went to talk to a nurse, while Kate headed for Chloe's room.
Nicole freaked when she couldn't reach Stefano by phone. EJ interrupted, asked why she was calling his father, and accused Nicole of hiding things. Nicole dodged. Stefano entered and said he and Nicole had been planning a surprise birthday party for him. EJ bought it and left to tend to a crying Sydney. Nicole told Stefano him about Dr. Baker's phone call. Stefano said Baker wasn't a problem any more. He explained he was having Rafe followed and was hoping to "kill two birds with one stone." EJ returned, asked for a word alone with Nicole, and apologized to her. Stefano came back, noting EJ had a call. EJ left. Nicole continued pressing Stefano about Dr. Baker. "Baker is dead," announced Stefano, noting this was over. Nicole gasped that it wasn't. Baker wrote a letter to the authorities revealing the truth about the baby switch and his lawyer had it.
Rafe snuck into Dr. Baker's room. He found him in a chair and assumed Baker was asleep. When Rafe tried to wake Baker, he wouldn't stir. Suddenly, Rafe was attacked and left unconscious with a rope in his hand. Sami walked in on the scene and ran to check out Rafe. He awoke and wondered what she was doing there. Sami checked on Baker, who appeared dead, and freaked. Rafe put his hand over Sami's mouth and told her to stop screaming. Sami asked what happened. Rafe didn't know, but swore he didn't kill Baker. Sami believed him. Rafe was sure it was a setup. He checked baker's pulse, when he and Sami heard the police outside. Sami and Rafe escaped through a window, as Baker's finger twitched.

Tuesday

On a plane back to Salem, Sami and Rafe discussed why they both were in the Dominican Republic. Rafe said he went there because of Sami and Nicole. Sami explained she became suspicious Baker knew something about Grace when he phoned her out of the blue. Then, she learned Rafe was in the DR and decided to head there. Sami asked if Rafe had evidence against Baker that concerned Grace. Rafe didn't have the goods on Baker, but assumed bookies and loan sharks killed him. Sami looked at the business card she swiped from Baker's wallet and wondered what William Hines knew. Rafe phoned the attorney and left him a message; then, he left a message for Arianna. Sami returned to her seat and asked about Hines. Rafe pooh-poohed it. Later, Sami and Rafe arrived at her apartment. Rafe admitted he was happy Sami showed up when she did. Sami noted it was her turn to rescue Rafe.
Stefano was furious Nicole didn't tell him about the letter Dr. Baker left his lawyer. Stefano made a call; then, revealed Rafe went to the Dominican Republic to confront Baker. He explained setting up an accident and planting evidence to implicate Rafe. Stefano was concerned, because Rafe left the country before he could be captured. He was also concerned EJ would despise him when he learned about the baby switch coverup. Stefano vowed to stop the letter. He made a call and found out the lawyer's name. Then, Stefano made another call, instructing someone to find William Hines and bring him to him. Hines arrived at the mansion. Stefano pressed him for the letter. Hines hemmed and hawed, since it was supposed to be given to the police in the event of Baker's death. Finally, Hines revealed the letter. Nicole grabbed it. The phone rang and Stefano answered it. Afterwards, he told Hines about Rafe's call to him. "I don't know a Rafe Hernandez," said Hines. Stefano told him to keep it that way and offered to fund a vacation for Hines. When Stefano left, Hines revealed to Nicole there was one problem: he'd already mailed copies of the letter to Mia and Sami.
Victor snapped when he caught Brady and Arianna making out on the patio. "I came out here to relax and have an evening cocktail, not watch a porn show," spat Victor, telling Brady to use his room. The pair quickly dressed; then, Brady invited Arianna up to his room. Soon, they were romping in Brady's bed. Later, Arianna was on the phone. Troy told her she had to meet him in ten minutes, if she wanted to meet the big man behind the scenes. Brady returned, and Arianna said she had to go. Later, Troy told the big man that Arianna was on the way. The man turned to someone for his thoughts. It was Victor!
Lucas prepared to go into Chloe's room, but Melanie stopped him. Inside, Daniel finished injecting Chloe, told her he loved her and that they'd be together soon. Meanwhile, Kate prepared to enter Chloe's room. Melanie asked what Lucas had decided about pulling the plug on Chloe. Nathan tried to stall Kate, while Daniel begged Chloe to squeeze his hand. Nathan told Kate he had to examine Chloe; then, she could visit her. Daniel exited Chloe's room, and Melanie helped him sneak out of the hospital. Later, Melanie told Daniel there was no change in Chloe's condition. Daniel said she'd recover once the drug kicked in. Melanie phoned Nathan, while Lucas told Nathan he'd made a decision about Chloe. He was ready to pull the plug. Kate was overjoyed. Suddenly, Chloe's monitors started sounding. Lucas and Nathan raced in. Nathan noted improvement in Chloe. Then, he phoned Melanie and relayed the information to Daniel. Nathan also noted that Chloe wouldn't be taken off life support. Daniel warned Nathan to keep Kate away from Chloe and muttered about Chloe coming back to him, while Lucas stood over Chloe's bed. "I won't let you go. I love you, Chloe," whispered Daniel. Back in her room, Chloe called, "Daniel."

Wednesday

Brady was on the terrace thinking about Arianna when she called. She wondered if he was ticked she left so quickly and suggested they get together later. Brady was all for it. Meanwhile, Victor waited to meet with the dealer who Troy said moved their product so fast: Arianna. "Arianna?" gasped Victor, ordering the men to get rid of her and not let her see him. Victor hid as Arianna arrived. Troy introduced her to Mr. Constantine, the boss. Arianna didn't buy it. She said if the real boss wasn't interested in doing business with the best dealer, she would take her business elsewhere and left. Victor stepped out and told the men to keep Arianna working and bringing in the money. Then, he left.
Nathan phoned Melanie and asked to speak to Daniel. He told him Chloe woke up and said his name. Daniel and Melanie hugged. Maggie walked up and Melanie gave her the good news. Later, Daniel went to the Kiriakis mansion looking for Justin. He told Brady the latest on Chloe and warned that Kate would now be more dangerous than before. Brady headed to the hospital. Daniel vowed to make Kate pay for what she did. Later, Justin and Daniel discussed his case. Daniel mentioned the possibility of proving Kate poisoned Chloe. He noted Kate was wearing rubber gloves while handling the appetizers for the Hearth and Home shoot and the poison could still be on them. He headed off to find them.
Craig told an unhappy Kate that Chloe was improving. Inside her room, Chloe opened her eyes and said, "Daniel." Lexie, Craig and Kate raced in. Lucas explained what happened. Lexie sat at Chloe's bedside as Chloe grabbed her hand. Kate urged Lucas to stand by his decision to pull the plug. Lexie emerged and said Chloe slipped back into the coma, but noted it was a good sign she came out of it for a while. Lexie said they had to continue to monitor Chloe, since it looked like she was improving. Craig went to call Nancy. Brady arrived at the hospital. Nathan and Melanie filled him in on the latest. Brady phoned Daniel, noting he thought Chloe would be able to straighten things out when she woke up. Nathan and Melanie left. Kate urged Lucas to stick by his decision to off Chloe. Maggie arrived and wondered why Lucas wasn't thrilled about Chloe's recovery. He revealed how Chloe called out for Daniel. Lucas returned to Chloe's room and told her he hated her. Kate returned to the mansion, while Daniel headed to her room to search for the gloves. Kate retreated to bed.
Brady ran into Troy in the park. Brady went on about having been in rehab and understanding what Troy was going through. Troy caught on, just as Arianna showed up. Troy left, and Brady wondered if he'd be able to kick his drug problem. Arianna didn't want to talk about Troy. The pair started kissing. Victor caught them in the act, again, noting he had something important to say to them. Victor apologized for making Arianna feel uncomfortable earlier and invited her to dinner, soon.
Stephanie and Philip played pool at the Cheatin' Heart and kissed. A sleazy guy watched and told someone on the phone that Philip had traded the redhead for a brunette. Steph reminded Philip that they were supposed to be taking things slowly. Philip thanked Steph for giving him another chance. He swore he'd changed and asked her to wear the engagement ring again. Steph couldn't resist, and Philip put the ring back on her finger. Melanie and Nathan walked in on their re-engagement. Steph invited the pair over. Melanie went to order champagne. Philip followed. "Soda for me," Melanie told the bartender. "I don't want to get out of control and do anything I'll regret in the morning." Nathan noted how happy Steph looked. "I'm glad I fell for someone I can trust," said Steph. Philip tried to be sympathetic toward Melanie. Melanie realized he only cared about Steph and promised to keep quiet about their sexcapade. Nathan and Melanie left, as did Philip and Steph. The sleazy guy chatted on the phone about the video of Philip and Melanie, noting they were going to make a killing.

Thursday

Philip and Stephanie cuddled in bed and discussed how happy they were to be back together. "It's not us and our families or us and your job. It's just us," smiled Steph. Then, the twosome got down to lovemaking.
Lucas yelled at Chloe for betraying him and went on about how much he hated her. Craig walked in and noted they needed to talk. Craig told Lucas he had to leave town and wanted to know he could trust Lucas. Craig ordered Lucas to live up to his responsibilities to Chloe, reminding Lucas he'd made mistakes too and could judge her later. The pair shook hands and Craig left, telling Lucas to take care of Chloe. Lucas turned to Chloe and wondered how he could take care of her, when he couldn't forgive her.
Daniel searched Kate's room for the rubber gloves, while she headed upstairs. Daniel hid in the closet. Kate walked into the bathroom. Daniel exited the closet and continued looking for the gloves. He found them and put them in his pocket. Then, Kate found him. "What the hell are you doing here?" she asked. Daniel apologized for screwing up and hurting a lot of people, but admitted Kate threw him when she dumped him. Kate begged to differ, noting Daniel quickly focused on Chloe. Daniel said Chloe was revenge to hurt Kate like she'd hurt him. Kate said she was sorry if she hurt Daniel. Daniel stroked her cheek. Kate backed away. "We could have had it all," cooed Daniel. Kate told Daniel she'd had an exhausting day and wanted to go to bed, alone. Daniel left reiterating he was sorry. Then, outside added, "But not as sorry as you're going to be."
Justin was on the phone at the pub, when Victor interrupted and wondered if he was discussing Kate. Justin said it was none of Victor's business. The pair discussed Daniel, Kate and Chloe. Justin told Victor that Chloe came out of her coma. Victor assumed Justin was investigating Kate and ordered him to back off, noting she had one son nearly assassinated and another betrayed and humiliated. When Victor left, Justin wondered if Kate needed to be protected because she'd been through so much or done so much. Philip ran into Victor and told him he was re-engaged to Steph.
An angry Dean sat on a park bench, remembered shooting Brenda, and went off about wanting the reward money for Ciara. Meanwhile, Bo came downstairs and announced Ciara was asleep. "She's home, she's safe, it's over," noted Bo, hoping Hope could forgive him for how the kidnapping was handled. Hope couldn't, so Bo decided to sleep in the guest room. An argument ensued, when Ciara called out. Bo and Hope ran upstairs. Dean arrived and Bo let him in. Hope took Ciara to the kitchen for milk. Dean told Bo he'd never killed anyone before and was thinking of using the reward money to take some time off. Bo told Dean he wasn't eligible for the reward money as a cop. Hope returned, noting she thought Dean should get the reward. She'd call their lawyer and work things out. Once Dean left, Hope exploded. Ciara walked in and asked why they were fighting. Hope reminded Bo he promised to give the reward to whomever found Ciara. She refused to renege on that. Bo left for some air. Later, Hope heard a voice outside and opened the door to find Justin on the phone spatting with Adrienne. Hope invited him in. She filled him in on her spat with Bo and how she wanted Dean to get the reward. Justin consoled her.
Nathan and Melanie arrived home. While he went off to shower, Maggie returned and went on about how much she hoped Nathan and Melanie would get together. She said she'd be totally okay with that, when Nathan walked in. "Totally okay with what?" he asked. Maggie covered and headed off. Nathan decided to help Melanie study and found a website where she could take sample exams. Melanie looked at the screen and noted there were sport scores there, no biology tests. Nathan asked if she liked baseball and suggested they go to a game. Melanie got back to her studies and assured Nathan she'd ace her test. When Nathan headed to bed, Melanie looked at her laptop screen and got a message from Marseilles. It said, "Looks like you still know how to party!" Melanie watched in horror as a sex video of her Philip came up on the screen.

Friday

Lexie got a call from Abe while she was at the hospital with Stefano and EJ. She relayed that Dr. Baker was dead and the authorities thought the killer might be from Salem. Stefano fumed, believing Abe was blaming the DiMeras. Lexie worried about Stefano's health and wondered what was going on with him. EJ hadn’t a clue. Later, Stefano told EJ he wouldn't let diabetes do him in and that he would eventually like to hand the business over to EJ. He just had to handle a few loose ends first.

Stephanie and Philip were awoken by their alarm clock. Steph said she couldn't wait to marry Philip. They smooched. Philip told Steph he had a job interview in Chicago and they might have to move there. Steph just wanted to be with her man.

Melanie watched the Internet video of her and Philip romping and freaked. Nathan walked in with some breakfast treats, and Melanie snapped her laptop shut. Melanie thanked him, made some excuses, and left, just as the postman arrived with a certified letter for Mia.

Nicole phoned the post office and learned the certified letter was on its way to Sami. She packed up Sydney and left. Sami and Will were at her place, discussing school. Will said Mia was on her way over. Mia arrived and got a call from Nicole suggesting she stop by. Mia declined, and she and Will left. Nicole showed up with Sydney. She asked if Sami ever found out what Baker wanted. Sami said she didn’t and never would: Baker was murdered, and somebody tried to frame Rafe for it. While Sami was taking Sydney for a walk to fetch coffee, the postman knocked on the door. Nicole signed for Sami’s certified letter.

Mia and Will chatted at the Java Café, when Kinsey showed up. She told Chad she was kicked off the cheerleading squad because of her DUI and Mia was one of the girls who might replace her. Chad and Kinsey discussed Will and Mia’s budding romance. Chad mentioned Mia’s diary and wondered if it said something about how she felt about him. Kinsey and Chad conspired to snatch Mia’s keys while Mia picked Kinsey’s purse up from the floor. Mia and Will discussed being an official couple and sealed things with a kiss. While Mia reached into her purse and noticed her keys were missing, Chad was standing in Maggie's kitchen, searching for Mia's diary. He noticed the certified letter.

Brady called Arianna at the pub and invited her over for a swim. Rafe walked in and filled his sister in on his trip to the Dominican Republic and said he couldn’t tell Sami about his suspicions about Nicole yet. Arianna arrived at the Kiriakis mansion ready for a swim and then some. Melanie burst in and went off about the sex video of her and Philip on the Internet. She had to get it off before Steph saw it and killed her. Melanie said she tried to investigate the hotel manager, but didn’t have any luck. Brady promised to take care of things. Brady and Arianna arrived at the hotel and booked a room. The sleazy manager let them in. Brady told the guy he realized what he did in this room and pointed out the cameras. The guy freaked, thinking Brady was a cop. Brady said he was a Kiriakis and demanded the Melanie/Philip video be removed from the Internet.

Philip left Steph at the hospital and went off to a meeting in Chicago. Maxine complimented Steph on her ring and fiancé, while a candy striper made a snide remark. Nathan arrived. More candy stripers stared at Steph, who wondered what was wrong. Melanie arrived for her exam. Nathan wished her luck. The candy stripers giggled as they watched something on the computer. Nathan and Steph walked up, wondering what was going on.

Rafe entered Hines' office, while he was packing to leave town. Rafe asked why his card was in Baker’s wallet. Hines feigned ignorance. Rafe asked about Hines' connection to the DiMeras. Hines finally admitted Baker was his client, but wouldn’t offer up anything else. Rafe took out a gun and pointed it at Hines, who started talking. He told Rafe about the secret letter. Rafe guessed he mailed it to Sami and left. Rafe entered Sami’s apartment, just after Nicole stuffed the letter in her purse.
