In an Ohio courtroom today, Freddie Smith (Sonny, DAYS) was sentenced to community service and DUI school stemming from charges following an October 7 crash crash that involved the actor and his girlfriend, Alyssa Tabit. On December 9, Smith pleaded guilty to a 1st degree misdemeanor (operating a vehicle while under the influence) and 4th degree felony (vehicular assault). He could have been sentenced up to 24 months in prison. Ohio reporter Scott Taylor (@ScottTaylor19) was on the scene and Tweeted that Smith said, “This is more than a life lesson.
