I am pleased with the recent changes in "Days," but two devices that I hate are creeping back in: flashbacks and characters talking to themselves. These are insults to fans' devotion and their intelligence. We know what's been happening: We've been watching. And we know the characters well enough to know what they are thinking.

One of the reasons the ratings have dropped, why watch when all they're going to do is make you watch what you've already seen.Flashbacks are okay if they're from awhile back (and by awhile I don't mean a week ago).
