Yeah, it is due to lazy storytelling. Obviously the writers aren't paying attention to what they are writing or they think we aren't. If David didn't want Liza to build a defense, he should have just plead guilty and take his sentence. Man, this story is getting more and more lame. More Angie please????

Yeah, David & Greenlee should be a dynamic duo, instead AMC is writing it so that Greenlee is this supposed frail, little flower and David is some cowardly wind-bag. They should be raising hell together.And how about this for a defense.....the so-called confession that they have on record was coerced!! David was being held at gun point, and Ryan, Erica & Nurse Gayle decided to give him a fake gun-down show. So, without that confession, they have nothing, because Greenlee will not testify against David. This whole story is the cause of stupid and lazy writing. Lorraine Broderick knew that she wasn't going to be heading up this show for a long period of time, so she didn't give a damn about how poor of a job she did.
